Does the Blue Waves tent provide protection from the sun?
The tent protects from UVA and UVB rays, and is UPF50+. However, as the sun may reflect back off structural elements and your surroundings, you should always apply sun cream to your child, dress them in a T-shirt and cap, and keep them hydrated

Questa tenda da sole l’ideale per tenere al riparo dal sole e dalla sabbia i nostri bambini sopratutto quando sono ancora molto piccoli. La tenda si apre letteralmente in 2 secondi mentre nell’atto di chiusura inizialmente ho avuto un p di difficolt ma poi, seguendo anche il video tutorial, stato tutto pi semplice. I materiali utilizzati sono di buona qualit cos come le cuciture e le cerniere. Anche se esposta al sole la tenda resta fresca e ventilata grazie a delle finestre posteriori. Lo spazio a disposizione non poco e, anche un adulto, ci entra per met dentro. Per i bambini sicuramente un divertimento in pi in spiaggia e questo sempre un’ottima cosa.
Se trata de una prctica tienda para evitar el sol a los ms pequeos.
Trae una funda para transportarla con facilidad.
El material es de buena calidad.
La tienda es muy espaciosa, los pequeos entran enteros, tambin servira para los adultos, pero en el caso de estos ltimos entrara la mitad del cuerpo as que para echar una siesta con la cabeza dentro viene de perlas.
La tienda es muy ligera, si hay viento hay que poner las piquetas, en teora vienen 4 (en mi caso venan 3).
Como puerta tiene unas mosquiteras que se cierran con cremallera. Si queremos mantenerlas abiertas trae unas tiras para atarlas.
La tienda se abre fcilmente. Guardarla es bastante complicado hasta que se pilla el truco.
En conclusin, me parece sper til para la playa o el campo si se va con nios, los mantiene frescos, y se pueden echar la siesta o merendar tranquilamente dentro de ella.
Esta tienda de beb me ha parecido muy til, con factor de proteccin 50+ es perfecta para poner al beb ( siempre con supervision) as se protege del csped o la arena, lo recomiendo porque adems es fcil d e montar y de desmontar.
Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto di questa tenda da esterno per bambini.
Leggera da trasportare, bel design e utilissima la zanzariera per non far entrare zanzare ed altri insetti. La chiusura non proprio facilissima da fare per seguendo le istruzioni e/o il video che si reperisce scansionando il q/r code si riesce a fare.
Utile anche la sacca per trasportare la tenda per giornate al mare/parco.

La verdad que para montarla genial, buena calidad y diseo, pero plegarla incluso con el video explicativo que sale en las instrucciones, ha sido un poco odisea. Supongo que mejorare con el tiempo.
Das Zelt springt schnell auseinander, was super ist. Die Heringe knnten etwas stabiler sein. Das zusammenfalten ist auf der Anleitung nicht so gut erklrt. Nach ein paar Versuchen mit Videos aus dem Internet hat es geklappt. Hier macht bung den Meister :).
Nous l’avons utilise la plage et une fois mise dos au vent, pas de problme d’infiltration du sable dans la tente.
J’avais peur aux vues des commentaires pour la replier (et effectivement, la notice est incomprhensible je ne vais pas le nier). Mais instinctivement elle se plie trs rapidement.
This is great. Its a great size, has pegs you can use to keep it grounded on the grass or sand and has sun protection! Definitely practice folding it down and putting it in the bag before you take it out I’d advise
I bought this for our 10 week old for her first beach day. I’m really pleased first with the look of the tent.
The mesh doors keep great ventilation and it feels cool on the inside. I’m 5″4 and was able to sit inside crossed legged (my head was very close to the roof however) to breastfeed which was an added bonus.
Set up was easy, although the pegs were a bit useless – you might want to invest in some sand specific pegs and of course make sure it’s weighed down well.
Getting it back in the bag however is tricky, but if you watch the video (QR code link provided) and have a practice you should be fine. Took me about 10 goes but once I got the knack it just made sense! Although I think I’ll have to remind myself of how to do it each summer to avoid frustrated beach pack ups!
I got it when on discount so was both affordable and as described. Would recommend.

We’ve used this everywhere this summer. Easy to put up, and once you’ve got the hang of it it’s easy to go back down. Took it down the beach and kept baby safe from the sun and cool as it provides shade. Perfect for summer!
Very easy to use, no construction needed just pop out and go. I read a lot of reviews about it being difficult to get back in the bag which nearly put me off but I’m glad it didn’t as I’ve had no problems. Super light, easy to carry and store and my baby loves it!

Great product, especially in this weather. Loses a star because it is so difficult to fold down, instructions are useless and ended up on youtube.. after 473828 tries I closed it lol. Aside from this, it’s great for the garden, park and for a holiday too!
Really good size only used indoors so far as a play tent. Wanted a quick opening one and not so small or flimsy with the benefits of using outside and easy to to wash and dry if used outside to bring back in again to use as a play tent. I kept it up a while dreading putting away as I struggled in the first go – not like a proper try but after the novelty worn of I did and it took me a few try’s even after watching the ytube vids but once I stopped concentrating on the videos I actually just did it! Now no struggle goes away first attempt just got to get your hands moving. I’ve had teepees and other tents I just got rid of as they were too much faffing and too many bits to fiddle with. Also have tried pop up all in ones and they are too small or too flimsy – I should imagine other outdoor camping/beach tents like this work just as well but I wanted somewhat of a pretty looking one to go in the kiddies room when being used.
Great for little baby to play out of the sun. Only snag is that it isn’t the easiest to put away and the instructions provided aren’t very easy to follow.

Great light weight tent. Good size, plenty of space for little one. Suggest ignoring the instructions and video on how to fold back up. Makes no sense. Better off watching YouTube. Once you get the hang of it then it’s very easy.
A little on the pricey side but useful to keep in the car for when out and about. Suggest watching YouTube vids for easiest way to fold as instructions provided don’t make it easy! The only issue we’ve had is nothing to anchor it so can blow away in windy weathe
Just opened tent for first time – nice lightweight tent but the paint work is shabby on one side which is disappointing and not what I expected given the price paid for it…
This is a brilliant tent to use for lil ones, easy to use. But so very difficult to fold back up. Ignore the instructions you get with it, go on to you tube and watch the video made by a parent, not the companies one. This is the only video that shows you the easiest and best way to fold it back up.
Bought for a holiday – worth the money kept our baby protected from the sun. Has pegs so we were able to plug into the sand on the beach. Made it easy to pitch up anywhere. Found it hard to fold initially, but found a video on YouTube and from then on it was plain sailing. Will continue to use back at home in the garden.
Arrived quickly and easily pops into shape. Still learn how to fold it back down! Good size (I have an 18month old). Only disappointment is that the stitches are already coming apart after only two outings
Such a great product – perfect for our holiday and was a life saver. Kept baby out of the sun and plenty of space inside to allow for toys and I could also sit in there with him to keep him occupied at times or feed etc. A bit of a pain to fold down sometimes even when you think you’ve finally got the hang of it haha! The bottom is not padded at all so need to use towels or play mat if going on hard floor.
With all this abnormal sun we’re having recently I thought prudent to find a solution for the little one.
He loves it in there, allows him to be outside with us, enjoying the breeze and fresh air but doesn’t require the constant worry of sunburn.
Instructions for folding aren’t great so you just have to fumble your way to success. Not really offputting though.
Really perfect with the insect net for our up and coming holiday to Mexico.
It’s a good size when up and does shade baby- we managed to get the activity mat in it so she was happy lying there. But we ended up not using it much on our holiday as preferred staying out of sun altogether. Hopefully it will get more use on the garden and uk summer.
It opened lovely and self assembled but haha I have no idea how to get it back in the carrying bag, it comes with instructions but i still couldnt do it after about ten tries after a long day, I didn’t care how I got it home so I folded it enough to be able to carry it easily enough without being in the carrying bag and will try again to master the art of folding it. Would definitely reccomend!
