These are brilliant shuttlecocks! My badminton coach tried them out and said they were as good as his yonex ones which are double the price and more sometimes!!
I bought these to mess around with, but they are brilliant. Love that they are black too as it means the people on the court next to us can’t nab them by mistake! They are fast, accurate and great quality.
These feather shuttles are Ok for practice, but they are slightly inconsistent in flight compared to other feather shuttles I’ve used, particularly match shuttles. There is a slight eccentricity in the spin of the shuttle and everything about them screams seconds, although for practice they’d be good enough to knock around. If you look at the way the feathers are attached to the base there’s a variability with shuttles even from the same case. Certainly in terms of lifespan they don’t last as long as the Yonex shuttles, but then they are significantly cheaper. They’re not bad for the price, but you wouldn’t want them for a match. Practice OK, but not a match.
I wanted to wait a while to review these, and now we’ve been using them a few weeks i can confidently say these are a brilliant purchase. Really great quality at a really great price.
We found the plastic shuttlecocks we’re making our games quite unenjoyable. We upgraded to these feather ones and the difference is incredible. They’re nice and weighty and have a bit more of a bounce to them.
We are still on our first shuttlecock, so they last a while as well.
These are great value feather shuttlecocks.
I run a just for fun badminton club and I got these as some of the members were asking about using feathers.
We have been using these for several weeks now and still have a few left (out of two packs), which is good going for four courts for nearly two hours a week.
I am not sure if you steamed these that they would become faster and even more durable. If I try, I will let you know.
