Really love this serum, I’m a black woman same complexion as Keke Palmer. This is clearing up my hyperpigmentation , albeit slow however this is years of damage.
I used this along my cerave wash/murad blemish wash, fenty toner , serum & cerave rough bumpy cream.
I would say 11/10 for sure !

I have been using this serum for last 2 years and I keep ordering it again!
Pros:
Easy to use
Lightweight on your skin
Watery in consistency
Absorbs in seconds
No stickiness at all
Subtle smell
Make up sticks better on tops
Glowy skin
Little goes a long way! Yet a lot will never be a lot!

Cons:
Gets over quickly
Rarely comes in stock with price changes

I suffered terrible acne and had black spots all over my face, it was horrible. I healed and got this serum to help with my dark spots and this is the best decision I have so far made this year. haha, I will stick to this product and order a second bottle. 🙂

I bought this serum to use it after the treatment with the derma roller. It came in a dark bottle which is appropriate for vitamin c containing substances and has a nice discreet scent to it. It does brighten my skin a little and I haven’t experienced any bad reactions. On the down side, I was expecting a thicker product. It is more watery than other similar products I have used, and I don’t feel is as strong, but given the price it really is a good buy.

So I did receive a different bottle than the one shown in the picture (the white one that other people have taken) but I can’t compare it to the product shown as this is my first time buying it.
When I first started using it I only put 1 drop into each cheek to try and long it out as much as possible. This did nothing to my skin and so I started lathering it on. I don’t know if this has made a difference or not (I feel like it has) but it’s difficult to tell as I have also been religiously cleansing, toning and moisturising where I wasn’t before. It may have potentially helped reduce new spot marks on my skin (as I’m terrible and pick it) and my skin has been quite clear recently. It definitely smells lovely though.
I’m giving it 4 stars because I’m not really sure if it’s helped. I do think it has but I can’t be certain. The best way to test this is for someone to not change their face routine except for this product. It might be doing absolutely nothing to me, but I would suggest putting quite a bit on your skin to see if it does make a difference.

I also don’t like how easy the bottle is to open first time. I would prefer it if it was sealed.

I value having clearer skin rather than buying make up to cover it up.

Finding products for oily skin is problematic, however this serum is so light-weight and quick-absorbing, it doesn’t feel heavy or slippery at all, it does leave a sticky feeling but in a nice “oh-wow-my-skin-absorbed-that-quickly” kinda way.

I cleanse my face at night and apply a couple of drops to my face and pat it, I let it soak in for about 15 mins and then top up with night lotion.

I have seen a drastic difference after two weeks use (once a day). My skin feels clear and bright. I haven’t used foundation in over a month because I love the look of my skin so much.

If you have scarring because of spots then this will work a treat. For me personally this did not work on my under-eyes, maybe with prolonged use, but I’ve yet to see it.

Overall, excellent.

Been using this product for just under a month and can honestly say it’s the best thing ever!! I’ve suffered with acne since I was about 13 (now 22) and have tried so many different products, remedies, medicines etc and wasted so much money in doing so! But since using this, my acne has cleared up!! I get the odd occasional spot here and there but can’t recommend this product enough!
Also, if you’re like me and are rubbish at keeping to a skin routine this is definitely for you! (Can’t be bothered to take make up off before bed sometimes etc). I don’t use it every single day, maybe 2 or 3 times a week or when I remember but even so can notice a considerable difference and others have also commented on my skin say how fresh and glowy it looks now!
For the price it is, I would definitely recommend and will be buying this again when I run out!

Ive bought this serum as I needed to brighten my skin. Over the time it become more dull and Gray.

This serum came in a little brown bottle with pepite and not the orange box. Unfortunately pepite didn’t work so I have to pour it into different bottle to use it.

I couldn’t find any expiry date on this product. Not on the bottle or box, very strange.

Outcomes:
* skin feels very
*skin looks eaven in
* skin looks

Overall, good product if you have tired skin but I am using it with my daily moisturiser as it dried up my forehead and nose.

4 stars only because the pepite didn’t work and there was no expire date.

This is my second time purchasing this product. I have some hyper pigmentation from acne scars and was looking for a serum that could lighten them. I am pretty happy with the results that this product gave me. In the short term, it made my skin more radiant (on first try) and in the long term (about 3 months), it has lightened my acne scars. Bear in mind, that it will not work over night but consistent use as part of your skin care regime will give you a more even complexion (hence the 4 stars instead of 5 because immediate results are the best!), I have noticed that it works especially well after derma-rolling. In terms of texture, at first it feels like an oil but goes on like a watery liquid and absorbs into your skin quickly. It has a slight orange scent but it disappears after a while. Your skin will initially feel a little sticky as it absorbs the product but after 10-15 minutes, your skin is just left with a subtle dewiness. All in all, I think it is a very good product for the price, it is certainly great value as other similar serums are much more expensive. I would definitely recommend it for serum beginners and those looking to lighten their pigmentation on a budget.

I haven’t used it often enough to notice massive results but I am very pleased with my purchase. All though the bottle is tiny a little drop goes a long way! It dry’s into the skin pretty quick and doesn’t leave a lot of resuidue behind! I have been using 2 or 3 times a week under my eyes, neck, chest and shoulders and I have to say it does leave your skin feeling silly soft. My plan is to invest in a good micro derma roller and use this after each facial. I haven’t had any bad reaction or any breakouts using this. Good luck with your purchase!

So after living in France for a while I got really into skincare. I’m only 22 and have clear skin and wear sunscreen everyday, but the women in the French pharmacies and French Sephoras kept giving me anti-aging serums and wouldn’t stop telling me that you can’t start to early (to my great surprise). So my skin is already fresh-looking, wrinkle free and clear – but it never had that “glow from within”. However, after using this product after I came back home, my skin has just been amazing – usually my skin is super dry when it’s winter. It now has this certain natural glow and for the first time in my life, people ask me how I obtain so beautiful skin. It is certainly one of the cheapest products in my skin-care routine and it is totally worth it. I’ve used every evening before night cream for a month now and I’ve still got 3/4 of the bottle left. Will definitely buy again – for myself and as a gift for others.

I feel it is working. My face looks much better, but to be honest I am using it with other products I started to use it alone under arms to excluded the co-effect of other products. I am a doctor and a friend of mine is a dermatologist and she is the one who adviced me to get vitamin C not that one by name but vitamin C I did my homework and finally got to that one I believe it is perfect as a whitening product I am coming to the UK from a sunny country Egypt so my face was extremely darker and had spots from the sun It did not go away completely , but much better . My husband even noticed the difference . I am using around 7 – 8 products this is why I decided to try that on the back of my neck it is dark after I had some treatment to straightening my hair by some Japanese formula 20 years ago and the dark colour still there like my skin on the back of my neck ot some permanent stains I know it looks weird and unscientific I would update my review ..

Growing up as a child I used to have clear skin, when I entered puberty my face became oily and uneven. I would sometimes get the odd spot here and there. But my face wasn’t that bad, it was still clear just had a few imperfections. I’m happy to have discovered this product during my trip to B&M bargains; the price tag impressed me since it was 2.99. So I thought why not! When I got home I used the product according to the instructions at the back. I used it in the morning, applying a few drops onto my face. In the evening or just before bed I would apply a bit more of the product. During the first week I noticed an immediate difference to my face! I don’t know if anyone else had experienced this but it made my face extremely clear to the point my pores were barely to be seen! I would never need primer! It also my face two shades lighter I only just noticed this when I looked in the mirror and it lighter than my college. I now no longer wear foundation or primer; they all went in the bin because my face was looking amazing. People actually commented on my skin and said it was glowing and what foundation o was wearing. Someone actually thought I was wearing the NARS luminous foundation! When I told them I was in wearing eyeshadow and a light moisturiser they were surprised. In the future I would have to pop into boots for a skin tone analysis for my foundation match, and I was told I had gone down in skin shades. My Latina and my skin is a medium olive but using this made my face a vanilla colour. I wasn’t intending to lighten my Face; I’m not saying either that being light is what people should go to as all shades of colour is beautiful. But I just wanted to address the extent of the results due to the use of this product. I think I will purchase more bottles and use it on the rest on my body to even it all out. Don’t be fooled by the product! Just because the product is runny don’t assume it will be ineffective. I love the Balance cosmetic line now! I have they’re Hyaluaronic acid moisturiser which I use in context ion with this and sometimes use Johnsons baby naturals moisturiser with olive oil in.
