The presence of drainage holes in the orchid pots is a crucial feature for the well-being of orchids. These holes facilitate effective drainage, preventing overwatering and promoting healthy root growth.
The quality of the material used in these pots is satisfactory, providing durability and sturdiness. However, I found it rather thin and I would prefer a more premium quality material. While generally stable, the pots’ lightweight construction sometimes lead to a slightly top-heavy arrangement, requiring extra caution to prevent accidental tipping.
The size of the pot is a bit too small for some of my orchid plant. The appearance off the pot might not be very attractive but it would offer a reliable solution for orchid enthusiasts seeking containers that prioritize drainage and air circulation.
I could never find these pots with air holes at my local garden centre, I use to make my own holes which is important for drainage of water for orchid plants, & of course allowing air to circulate around the medium, also allowing roots to grow through. I also like how much shallower these pots are, & not deep like the ordinary orchid pots.

This is a pack of 10 orchid pots with saucers. The pots have holes in them as orchids like their roots to see the light and they will poke and grow through them.
The pots are a good size for well-established orchids that need potting up to this size of the pot. The pot is ideal for the orchid and the saucer is only there to catch any debris as you only need to mist the plant.
These are good and look great. Very happy to recommend them and it makes a nice change to see a coloured pot rather than a clear one.
