Daughter loved it, managed to get all the pets easily enough and enjoys playing the wee games with them. As a parent the noise from the fluttering of the mechanism really annoys me when its being played with.
Bought this for our son’s sixth birthday. This is his favourite present – he absolutely loves it. In fact we all do! It charms anyone who sees it. Highly recommended.
Awesome because they don’t die at all and you can take your time with them and there are loads of different animals to keep as pets and you have to collect the food so the animals come to your house
I hope she’s not bored with it and it’s not a short lived item. I love how it works though where you can stroke the pet, definitely feels more interactive then a tamagotchi. The item is quite heavy, tamagotchis are a lot more portable and lightweight so this is a down side.
So far the 7 year old animal and tech obsessed boy has had a good hours worth and has taken it to bed with him.
So I thought it would be very breakable because of the light sensors in it but so far with very gentle hands we have been ok. My kiddo loves to pet it and play the games and gets super excited when he can get a new pet which is a great feature so you don’t have to buy loads to collect them all and you can easily switch between pets . You can play with it by moving the whole case or by unlocking the super bitzee which unlocks their games.
So far it’s a good solid 5 stars but if anything does happen I shall update.
Delivery box was left in the rain for a short period hence the packaging was a bit wet, annoying. The digital pets and case however is not affected anyway.
I’m not a fan but boys love them and all little creatures have been well looked after. To me, the flashing lights are not great but seems not at all a problem with boys.
Brilliant to keep kids entertained.
I received this item from the Amazon Vine Program.
I got this for my 6 year old son.
This is basically a 3D version of a famous virtual pet I had before when I was a kid.
It is coloured so it’s quite cool and it looks more interesting for my son.
There is a manual included with all the things you can do to operate it.
There are 15 pets that can be collected. Each pet can be fed, played with etc. They also grow and evolve.
The flickering lights can be too much so I do not recommend playing with it for long hours.
The sound can also be annoying to an adult but it does not seem to bother by son.
It costs 31.99 at the time of ths review which is reasonable.
Daughter loves it. Works well hard to see in bright day light. But it’s fab can pet it allsorts. All different little pets to look after and play with, It’s like a modern tamagotchi! As described. Good price. Would order it again.
Amazing product for my children, bought 2 so 1 each…. they got a dog, then a cat then a rabbit, now the are evolving, the games are hilarious it’s worth buying to keep your children entertained
It is a nice virtual, interactive toy. You have pets inside the box, you can collect 15 pets. You grow them from baby to adult then to super bitzee. You can nurture and play with the pets. The pets reacts to tilts, touches, swipes, they are interactive. The box is nice. It is a nice toy for kids.
My little daughter liked it. But she got bored of it so easily.
Came amazingly packaged and to be really honest, it was a shame to tear that apart. The device itself is a small, lightweight and non bulky clamshel design which when open automatically makes the film to flip rapidly, showing the different pets which were quite easy to pet. My daughter wants t ok carry it everywhere with her. At 4 yrs old, she had to be monitored at first to explain and show her what to do as otherwise she was ready to pull it apart, lol. Not a bad form of entertainment. Recommend
When I was younger I had a Tamagotchi and having that responsibility to feed, look after and maintain a pet was really satisfying. This is very similar but brings things into the modern age with a high quality display, many different pets and ways to interact and watch them grow. My daughter has been playing with this a lot lately and has been finding new pets and evolving others into many different creatures. Because of the need to look after the pets and feed them it takes time to see progress and this is good. It’s not something that your child will be on constantly, but something they will pick up from time to time while they check in on their pets. I really like the design of this toy and the mechanism works well with the touch slider inside the box. Although the only downside is the screen uses a flickering method to display the picture, this can be quite harsh on your eyes after a while. Apart from this it has provided lots of fun.
When I was young you had Tamagotchi, which was a virtual pet of sorts, and often your long-suffering parents had to take it to work to ‘look after it’ while you were at school, where it was banned. This product is a slightly larger (like a plastic jewellery box) that opens to reveal a digital pet that you can pet etc. — you need to be gentle and precise (as too much pressure and rough handling could damage the toy) when doing this so probably more suitable for an older than a younger child. There are 15 pets to collect in the one toy, you basically get ‘upgraded’ as you continue to interact with the digital pet.
As another reviewer has commented, it is difficult to know how long this toy will hold your child’s attention once all 15 pets are collected and at 32.99 (at the time of this Amazon Vine review) then you would want to novelty to last longer than a few days or a week. Perhaps worth waiting for it to go on offer before buying as it is a fun novelty toy and could be a good substitute for the real pet your child might be asking for.
This is a fun little toy that reminds of me a sort of modern Tamagotchi. You can actually touch the digital pet and it’ll respond which is very cool.
Children can choose between 15 different pets to look after and care for until they grow up.
The toy is a little expensive but it’s certainly clever and a lot of fun so I’m happy to recommend
The Bitzee pet arrives in a reasonably nice retail box, which has the ability to display the pets without opening the packaging. Great for retail, but not so for mail order. However, it does mean you can have a quick try of it before giving it to the kids.
The pets live in what looks like an oversized ring box. As soon as you open the box, you can hear the motor start up. Yes, it has a motor! This basically spins a mirror that makes the 3D hologram effect work. While the pet in question will be making its own sounds, it doesn’t drown out the sound of the motor.
There is a certain amount of interaction that the child can make to change the display and the sounds. The only problem I have with this is how easy it is to touch the spinning mirror a little too hard and breaking it. If this happens, you might as well throw it in the bin.
Overall, nice, but not overly impressed. I hope that helps.
It’s very easy to play, very colourful display and the music makes the kids super excited.
Your kids need to be old enough to take care of things gently otherwise the flexible display can be broken within a few days!
It’s something new, something very different.
You have 2 pets to start – feed, pet them and clean them to grow. Once they grow twice they become a super pet and it will allow you to have more treat to attract other pets.
It was super easy like I mentioned earlier, my daughter finished collecting them all within a day.
(I didn’t expect it to be all cleared so soon, not quite sure how long she will be still interested.)
Once you have super pets, they have their own game to play.
Also when you collect them all, the start screen shows the ‘B’ sign filled up with rainbow colours.
I would recommend you(your kid) to watch the video instruction before start.
The flexible display automatically turns off if you leave it open for long without touching the display.
Overall, fun toy, you need to make sure the kids have a limited time to play!
