Locking connectors and be a pain because you have to squeeze the lock to get the plug out. However when you want to be sure the cable won’t ever fall out then these are great.
I can’t say if this works because it was too short, I did, however, order a longer one and that did work. Kudos to the seller who refunded straight away though
