As a portable mic stand it works great and seems secure enough but it is a pain to keep having to break down and re-assemble all the time as it has many pieces. Having a nice case with it is a bonus though. otherwise it does the job and if tightened up properly seems sturdy enough. Worth the money.

I bought this item as used. It is for the practice studio and open Mic nights. It came well packaged, with every item in bubble wrap. It was very very easy to assemble without the instructions (although they were included). It is of a good weight overall and when the boom is aligned with one of the legs it is sturdy enough and holds a Mic easily and stable. Overall good value for money.

Sturdy enough, not shaking or collapsing due to weight of the microphone.

Gooseneck head is not flimsy, does not change the shape easily.

Would recommend as a solid, standart mic stand

EDIT: I received a replacement quickly and this was in perfect condition. The stand is easy to assemble and take apart. It’s perfectly adjustable and the carrying bag makes it easy to pack up and bring with you!

Old review: I was excited to get this boom stand, but to my disappointment it’s more than a little damaged.

The knob at the top of the foot is so bend that I can’t twist it out or in, so I can’t assemble it. As you can see, one of the metal parts is also very bent.

It does come in a handy bag to carry it though.

I should receive a replacement and will update my review after.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, just what I needed

This was reccomended on a website by other customers to buy n use for a lamp which is for therapy n wellbeing but was not good enough like they said. As not stable due to weight of lamp and lamp kept falling off but this item in general for what it is meant to be used for is fabulous!!! I loved the bag it comes with and the accessories very good quality!!! Just not for me n my lamp that needs a stand. Lovely seller. fast refund and returns!!! Would defo buy if i needed a mic stand and from this seller.

It’s pretty perfect. Best Microphone stand I have ever brought. Very sturdy, quick and easy to put together, and always a bonus to have it in a carry holder. It’s so easy to use even my 6 Yr old can use it.

Very great product great stand. I think however the clip for a recording mic is too small but is perfect for a stage mic. You will prob have to be a differnt extension head

This is just okay – this would be only good for an odd gig here and there or if you’re just performing in a studio or room.

This is definitely not for professional gigs or shows.

Pretty good in all respects, especially for the money. easy to setup, good range of adjustments available. My only negative is that with the arm out on a long extension (I use this to sing while playing guitar or piano) the stand sometimes struggles with the weight of the sm58 mic. overall pretty good but would perhaps want something with a bit more mass next time

Got this to replace a stand I left at a gig and wanted something sturdy, folds down small and not too expensive as I am prone to leaving them at venues. This does exactly whart I want it to do

Got these to actually hold up some Genelec 8010 monitors as height speakers for an Atmos mixing setup. With all extensions added and the boom arm raised and tilted down toward the listener I was still able to achieve over 2 meters in height whilst trusting the heavy speakers would not fall. I have no doubts the stand would easily hold even the largest of mics in a cradle.
