The Apple Find My app is a native app on Apple devices. To use the Apple Find My app to locate Chipolo ONE Spot, the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS is recommended.
How is Chipolo ONE different from Chipolo ONE Spot?
ONE Spot works exclusively with the Find My app on iOS, and Chipolo ONE works with Chipolo app on Android and iOS. When you add ONE Spot to the Find My app, you can play a sound if it’s nearby, see it on the map, and get notified when it’s found.
Can I also add Chipolo ONE Spot to the Chipolo app?
No. The Chipolo ONE Spot works exclusively with the Apple Find My app.
How secure is the Apple Find My network?
The unique Bluetooth identifiers used to locate a device on the Find My network rotate frequently so users can’t be tracked from place to place & the Apple Find My network uses ensure that no one, not even Apple or Chipolo, can view your location.
Can someone track me with Chipolo ONE Spot?
If your iPhone finds an unknown Spot near you for a longer time, you will be alerted. The ONE Spot will start making a sound so you can find it. These alerts trigger when the Chipolo ONE Spot is not connected to its owner’s phone for over 72 hours.

I bought this as a friend used it to recover his wallet after it was “misplaced” in another passengers pocket after going through airport security. These things work and the Chipolo is inconspicuous well priced and versatile in having Key fobs and credit card size options

Mfiez-vous des trackers Chipolo One. Ils ressemblent ceux-ci, le Chipolo One SPOT, mais ils n’utilisent pas le rseau Apple Find Me. Ils utilisent la place une application propritaire Chipolo que personne d’autre n’a, donc en tant que trackers, ils sont inutiles.
Il fatto che sia nero un bene perch lo si pu nascondere con pi facilit. Si imposta in un attimo ed il suono abbastanza forte da essere ascoltato anche se non si nella stessa camera.
Excellent. Credit card shaped tracker. Great idea. Don’t even notice it in my wallet. It works with Apple’s Find My app and it’s louder and cheaper. It came with a 50% discount for a replacement in two years time when the battery goes flat. What’s not to like?
But this bad boy was a life changer. After seeing a YouTuber edc recommendation, I thought I’d look into it. I was a little iffy about the price (as it’s not official apple, there wasn’t the usual brand reassurance) but once I got it, I can honestly say it’s worth every penny. Not only does it work in find my so no more apps are needed but it’s easy to set up, robust and more importantly adds barely any bulk to my wallet! It holds all the same functionality as an air tag, allows for distance tracking and sound alerts, but in a better package.
Very slim and fits perfectly in the wallet. So far has passed all the tracking tests. Unable to comment on battery life as it is only a few weeks old.
Failure of fob. Requested help but they couldn’t resolve the problem despite very limited assistance. Requested either a replacement disc or money back.. They seem not honour their guarantee despite it being only a month or so old.
Dissapointed and very surprised. This was my first of two purchases- the second disc I bought is still working!
One is for my Ebike, so that I have a chance of recovering it if it’s stolen. It fits perfectly inside the seat and because the Chipolo sounder is quite loud, it’s still possible to hear it.
This first one gets a 5 out 5 stars, but the second Chipolo hasn’t faired quite as well and I appreciate I could be asking too much from it. I bought it to use on my dog’s collar. We’re not nave and realise if anyone stole the dog they’d probably immediately throw away the collar, but it looks a little bit like a name tag, so might not get immediate attention. The main reason for it is in case she goes wandering it just gives us an extra chance of finding her.
The negative is the battery life which for some reason only lasted 3 months on this one. The water proofing wasn’t quite good enough to be ‘dog proof’ and I did have to take the cover off the Chipolo at about 6 weeks and clean the battery (it had stopped working). This water/damp ingress could have contributed to the poor battery life. I’m going to experiment with some silicone sealant as I’m sure that will massively help, but ruin the warranty of course
A bit more waterproofing and I’d have given these 5 stars.
I’ve had a few Tile devices which were ok, but the Chipolo ONE Spot is ‘Find My’ compatible which is a big plus, and it actually includes a free hole in the casing to allow you to add to your keyring! So generous…
When I’ve tested it, the sounder is loud and the Find My functionality works well. Not the most engaging of designs, but it still looks like new after being carried in my pocket for a few months, unlike my son’s Airtag which is now very scratched.
Even better, I’ve not managed to lose my keys since I bought it 😉
