Very happy with how strong and easy they are to use. Well made and worth the money. A lot better than drilling loads of holes in the walls. Very happy!
I have used these products for years, as a long term tenant – saves the hassles of nails, followed the instructions on the back of pack and works a trea
Love these for hanging almost everything in our house. From heavy mirrors to lightweight pictures to a dart board cabinet, all super secure! Best bit is when I get bored and want to move things around, they come off easily and leave the wall mark free! Great value for money
We have moved into a rental property and are using this to put out pictures up. So far we have three pictures up and they are still there. Unsure of what it will be like when we move out and remove it from the wall.
Love these straps. Easy to install, durable and lasta long.
These are expensive compared to others so defintly buy when they are on sale or offer.
But I do love these ones. Cheaper ones don’t tend to last as long.
I will keep it brief. I buy these in generic packaging for a lower price and am very glad I do. They work great, are easy to use and cost much less. Seriously no need to give a lengthy review. You attach one side to the item you wish to hang, put the velcro strip that is to stick to the wall on it, peel off the sticky covering and put it on the surface, job done. Item stuck and for a cheaper price. That’s all I needed to know. Good work
I actually purchased these thinking they were standard commando strips but realised afterwards that these are “hooks and loops” strips on one side. I actually ended up using these for a project where I needed them to be removable and it worked quite well. They are strong and the adhesion (to the wall and to each other) is vey good. Definitely helpful if you have something that you want to be able to remove (otherwise I would just stick to regular ones).
Review:
I’ve tried many different picture hanging methods, but I always come back to Command Medium Picture Mounting Strips. They’re easy to use, damage-free, and strong enough to hold even my heaviest frames.
I love that I don’t have to worry about damaging my walls when I use these strips. They’re easy to remove, and they don’t leave any sticky residue behind.
I’ve used these strips to hang everything from pictures and mirrors to signs and wall dcor. They’ve never let me down.
If you’re looking for a damage-free way to hang your pictures and other wall dcor, I highly recommend Command Medium Picture Mounting Strips.
Pros:
* Easy to use
* Damage-free
* Strong enough to hold even the heaviest frames
* Removable without leaving sticky residue
Cons:
* None that I can find
These are excellent for hanging pictures with ease. Can easily hold alot of weight on the walls, one of these pictures is 110x85cm. We have used these for years now and make changing things around very easy. To remove the picture you just pull to break the velcro like stickers and the one on the wall has a tab that you stretch downwards to remove without leaving any mark on the wall. Unfortunately, this is then unusable but the one stuck on the picture can be reused. Will never need to use a hook again. I always try to use the large or medium and place a tab on each corner of the picture for larger frames and smaller frames just one either side and a small sticker in the centre at the bottom
Would highly recommend
Simple to use, worked well with these lightweight frames also from Amazon.
Only needed to use one strip at the top and they are holding these fine.
It’s a bit like Velcro, I’ve not taken them off yet to put my own pics in frame, I guess that has to be done carefully to avoid pulling off the one stuck to the wall.
To fit them I put the two together on to the back of the picture frame and then adhered the frame to the wall so it was very easy to level and distance out. They’ve been stuck on for a week now. All in all took about an hour to put them all up level.
Once the back is stuck to the wall there is no second chance, so it helps to have some one with you as an extra set of eyes. I’m hoping that they will separate easily when I get my pictures to go in, need to wait for my cat to sit still first
Hope review / pic is helpful.
Okay, so – the supplied instructions make the process unnecessarily confusing. Simply make a pair of strips, sandwich them together like velcro, take off one side of paper to stick the strips wherever you like on your frame or mirror or whatever, massage the strips quickly to warm up the adhesive then remove the other side of the paper to press the whole thing onto the wall.
Bought these for a lightweight a3 frame, I cut the strips in half lengthways as they were far too wide (my mistake for not getting the narrow version) and for this I definitely only needed two pairs of strips. Honestly, even just one pair cut it half would’ve probably been enough. I also put up a full length IKEA mirror that weighed 10lbs (4.5kg) and used 3 pairs of strips due to its length, might’ve been overkill but rather safe than sorry. The hold feels very secure but time will tell.
The main warning I’d give, is be certain where you’re putting things before you start. These are very strong and you’re not able to put them up and move them around. Have someone help you by holding the frame or mirror on the wall for you to decide where you want it, mark the top and sides lightly with a pencil or something so you are confident to put it up the first time. Simply ripping the strips off the wall to reposition them will most likely take a patch of your paint off as they are NOT designed to be removed this way.
