Excellent quality. Needed a new psu to go along with a new more power hungry gpu. Comes with so many cables that I now have spare for another corsair psu for a 2nd build
When I upgraded my GPU to a 3060 my PC was no longer able to provide adequate power so I had to also upgrade my PSU. I believe I had a 450w PSU before. My PC is now completely silent almost all of the time, even during gaming. It also doesn’t even feel warm to the touch, doesn’t blow out much warm air. I don’t know how, but the combination of a 3060 with this PSU seems to be a dream team for my rig. I couldn’t be happier right now. I’ll probably have to upgrade again in a couple of years to a 4x series card, but even then I think this PSU will do just fine.
I always build with Corsair PSU’s. They’re tough, they’re reliable, and they last a really long time.
I use the RM1000e PSU in my main rig with an AMD RYZEN 9 7900X CPU, and Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU, as well as my encoding rig with an Intel Core I5 11th gen, and Intel Arc A770 GPU. In both systems these PSUs are quiet, while providing ample power even when under load.
There are cheaper PSUs out there, but I absolutely recommend Corsair. Power Supplies are not something to skimp on.
Cables not plugged in so you can install only the cables you require for your pc build. Fits nice and snug in the pc case. Power cable is not that long so don’t expect to put it in far away from the pc. Built the pc myself and booted up first time.
I used the following parts with it:
CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB
Corsair MP600 CORE XT 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD
Corsair RM750e (2023)
Powercolor Radeon RX 6700 XT Fighter
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
Corsair CO-9050082-WW AF120 Air Series
I needed to buy a new PSU for a new build as the motherboard had an 8-pin power socket for the processor and the existing PSU only had a 4-pin plug. I particularly liked the idea that I only had to plug cables into the PSU the power cables I needed to use and in doing so did not have a jungle of excess cables to contend with. The kit also includes cable ties so you can tidy up after installation.
Plenty power for my rtx4080/78000x3d system. Good selection of cables. Good finish and build quality with only one niggle. The fan is noisy, it has a buzzing, rattling iritating noise when it starts up. If you have a high power draw system I think you will notice this more. It should have had a quiet fan switchable option like others in this price range as the constant stopping and starting makes the noise more noticeable.
Only four stars as at this price, the fan should be silent.
My first one lasted 10 months and then my GPU started blacking out. Changed all the cables etc and then bench tested everything. PSU had to be at fault. It was supplying power but maybe not enough. Amazon agreed return and refund so I sent old back and bought a new one. Ordering the White 750 I got a Black 750e. Not really sure whether the e is an upgrade or downgrade but I can live with the colour. GPU bounced back to life immediately.
I like the PSU, modular is good as I can keep cables to a minimum and it feels nice and solid. I cant really fault it other than the fact that the first one went bad, however return was hassle free. I liked it that much I bought the same again.
This was bought to replace a similar PSU that had recently failed.
It is so silent that I have to check the switch on my PC to see if it’s running!
Comes with enough leads to connect just about anything but I just used the leads already fitted to my motherboard from my old PSU.
Know what you’re buying here – this is essentially a budget version of Corsair’s X series of PSUs. It has a smaller fan, so they use that to claim that it’s quiet. I knew this when buying though, so do your research as I did, and the X series is only slightly louder. I usually wear headphones and it only spins up when it’s at load, but it is the loudest component in my computer, and I’ve got an RTX 4080 with 3 fans of about the same size!
This power supply runs so quietly that I’m now able to sleep with my pc switched on! No loud coil whine, no loud fan spinning constantly, it just works as intended. Highly recommend. Can’t go wrong with Corsair (much).
It’s well known in the tech world to always, always, ALWAYS buy a reputable brand! A bad power supply can destroy every single component in your computer, and at worst burst into flames!
With that being said, even when buying a reputable brand you don’t have to buy the most expensive, which is how I ended up buying this power supply from Corsair, it combined a great price with a well known reputation!
Both my wife and I have Corsair power supplies and we have had absolutely no problems with them, they just work!
This was also my first modular power supply, so I expected a few teething problems, but no, it was as simple as plugging in the things I needed, and had a ton of spare cables left over.
Highly recommend!

Apart from looking the business in my son’s recently upgraded gaming system that uses a black and white colour scheme, it’s also a beast of a supply and way overkill for what he needs even with a RX 6750 XT GPU in there.
But with PC’s, more power than needed is never a bad thing.
Modular design means you can use only the cables that you need making cable management much easier. The individually white sleeved cables look good too and you get a great selection of connectors to choose from, importantly for those with bigger GPUs they supply 3 PCIe cables as well as 2 ATX (1 x 8 pin and 1 x 4 pin).
Overall an excellent PSU (I use the black version in my system). But, PSU prices are still ridiculous even though most other components are returning to more “normal” prices.
I’ve been using this power supply for a few weeks now and I have to say, “i got the power”.
My computer used to be louder than a room full of toddlers with vuvuzelas. Id have to wear headphones to muffle the sound of a clapped out PSU. But now, thanks to the Corsair RM750, my computer is so quite that i can hear the electrons playing harpsichord music in the circuits of my CPU.
If you’re looking for a power supply that will make your life simpler, happier and fill it with harpsichord music then get yourself a Corsair RM750!
