Delivered next day and very well packed (maybe a bit too much packaging).
Looks very stylish when run along the top of skirting board.
Paints up well with emulsion or gloss and cuts easily with a hacksaw.
Very easy to install and sticks firmly to wall.
Will take up to three cables, depending on thickness of cables.
Very competitive price.
We had a lead from a smart TV to an Internet router that we wanted to cover up on a magnolia-coloured painted walls. Using a couple of kits like this was near to perfect. Blends in well, as we were able to use the trunking and kits to follow around the door surround. The finish is neat, tidy, an only needed doing once. In some ways, the finish is almost invisible. Affordable, and works well. Only slight criticism: maybe the mix of parts for each kit needs adjusting a bit, but other than that, nice job. Thank you.
Very good but it has come away from the wall once or twice but not fully fallen off, just slipped to the side. Re-stuck and seems to be fine now.
If you want to join two pieces of trunking together or create a corner, this is what you need. They just clip over and can quickly be taken off should you need to reinstall any cables. All I wish is D-Line created a marker on the corner pieces, so you knew how much trunking you needed to cut on a corner or else you might accidentally put the two pieces too close together, which causes the cables to kink.
I ordered this to tidy up cables running down the diagonal bar on the frame of my home built ebike.
I cut it to size with a fine toothed saw, removed the protective strip to reveal the adhesive, stuck it to the under side of my bike frame, channeled the cables inside and clipped it shut. It’s still stuck firmly after several months, and the cables are safe, dry, and very tidily hidden.
Perfect!
General installation is fine – the trunking sticks well to the wall and blends in extremely well with our skirting board, almost looking like a part of it.
Minor caveats are that not all the joining pieces, particularly the internal corner pieces, are easy to fit or remain properly in place. Also, I found that when the trunking had been stuck to the wall, it was difficult to convince the hinged cover to click shut, meaning they are difficult/irritating to use more than once (the first time, it seemed easier to click to fit the cables and click the trunking shut before attachment to the wall).
This said, I’m very pleased overall with the unobtrusive look of this trunking.
Real tangle of wires I had down from my router, this makes them invisible. Adhesive has stuck to the wall just fine, could put screws through the thin back plastic should you wish. Only downer was that mine arrive with a kink in it; a bit bent to start with. Still worked fine so didn’t bother sending it back – only reason for 4 instead of 5 star.
