If you enjoyed the first deadisland and ripe tide and enjoy LA then this could be good. Getting use to new controls and the card system are the main changes
just a shame out the dlc map areas not being out already so me and my mate are waiting on that to jump back into it. but its a hell of a zombie basher game.
his game is so pretty! Especially indoor environments. And the game is just pure fun! For 35 it is a great buy, Sometimes I just go look at houses and look at the stuff inside *_*
Firstly if you liked the first two DI games you will like this, the gameplay and graphics have been evolved nicely. Definitely not up to Dying Light standard though but worth a play through. The card perk system is also quite good once you’ve unlocked a bunch and works quite like Fallout 76. The pull of the next shiny weapon is strong and the combat is fun enough so that grinding is not a chore. And when you unlock your first lengandary, oh boy! Good humour also, some of the side quests are excellent. Recommended at the 30 mark.
Waited along time for this game to come out!! But now it’s here I’m loving it!! It’s very much like the original Dead Island but more gruesome (yes!) I’m playing as Amy but can’t wait to play again as the other characters
Really enjoying this game. Graphics are really good and weapons are satisfying, really feels like you connect when you swing at an enemy. Weapon types makes a difference so slicing with a sword or smacking with a sledge hammer feel different and have unique damage. It’s not a deep game or story but it is great zombie slaying fun. Multiplayer is a good laugh and works well.
A really enjoyable experience, very similar in gameplay to the original game. Not really open world thankfully – there’s exploration to do, but the missions follow a linear path.
The destruction and damage you can cause to zombies is really impressive and gruesome. Story is mostly insignificant as it was before, but there is some great humour during the cutscenes.
Took me about 7-8 hours until I completed a story mission which ‘unlocked’ guns and they were quite satisfying to use by that point.
Overall really happy with it, best game I’ve played in some time.
