Package Contents:
- 1 x 30W foldable solar panel
- 2 x Climbing hook
- 1 x User Manual
Please notice the purpose and principle of the solar panels before you buy:
- The portable solar panel is not a device to store electrical energy, nor is it necessary to use with a power station!
- It is only used to convert sunlight directly into electricity and output it to your electronic devices immediately!
Tips for usage:
- Do not use solar panel behind glass, especially the glass which block UV.
- Please use the solar panel directly towards the sun, and make sure each panel in the sunlight.
- It’s NOT recommend using the portable solar panels in rainy and humid environments, because only under sufficient sunlight can the solar panels supply power to your devices quickly.
- Solar charge times vary and are dependent on many factors such as elevation, temperature, time of year, angle and position to the sun.
- The surface of the solar panel is waterproof while the junction box is not waterproof. Please do NOT immerse the folding panel solar in water!

Having purchased 1 of these it was faulty on arrival. I was due to go on holiday within days and after some positive communication from the seller a new replacement was sent out within 2 days.. 5star service easy to recommend.. And the new panel works great Thank you so much and I wish more sellers were this proactive
Right people , let’s get this out in the open shall we.
To begin with the product is basically like a compact A4 pad that folds out in to like 4 panels once opened.
It’s a very well made item , very slick design and i use it to charge my tronsmart force speaker (SD card baby alllll the way f-k- BLUETOOTH!) My battery bank , phone, usb rechargable multi coloured lamp (NOT SHITTY TOXIC LED!) And a plasma lighter…..literally with this one panel , I have my beautiful clean pure signal tunes , with my probable SD card case with a selection I created from soundtrap ranging from deep roots reggai , lounge , cafe del mar , chilled house , deep house , funky house , liquid dnb , funk and soul , 80s , bands , classical , chakra healing frequencys , amazing ey oh and then I’ve always got my phone (usually on aeroplane mode but I’ll play chess , do some digital art , or perhaps try and attempt to learn a language) then I’ve always got fire and some cool fricken ambient light….just get one before everything crashes guys , this is the battle of all battles everyone , make sure your prepared for it, I know I am ! GOD WINS EVERYTIME
Bought to boost a 30Ah power pack whilst camping and it does just that. I’ve not tested it directly charging a handset but I don’t see this as being a problem and not taking more that two hours based on charging the battery pack.
If you’re charging a couple of devices I would recommend this panel, it folds away nicely and it’s not too big. If you’re on the fence and won’t be using this from a backpack then get the bigger panel as I’ve found myself charging everything around the house on it and want more wattage.
And some have complained about the fabric deteriorating, I would recommend spraying the fabric with NikWax Solar Proof to protect the fabric from UV.
Brilliant . It even works with out the sun, which is something we don’t have a lot off in England! But when the sun is out it charges all my small devices such as. Small sensor lights, battery pack, ring door bell. I live in a flat so I put it on my window seal .
Really good product. The multitude of connectors allow you to connect it to basically anything
It’s well made, good output power, I got a good 110w out of it on an afternoon in Wales in junly. with little faf trying to angle it (just right)
So happy I bought a second one. (Just waiting for it to arrive)
Works in cloudy conditions. Will use for camping trips. Has usb charging port and a USB c charging port also. Will have to check this out as not 100% sure. Can also charge lap top , connectors supplied plus four anchor points and clips to hang unit. See description on Amazon.
Draped over a sunbed or chair on a sunny campsite – fully charged my 10000 powerbank in one day. Phone was at 80% and up to 100% within the hour. It was gloriously sunny though.
Bought this for a camping. It works pretty well. On a good sunny day it’ll day charge my Pixel 7 Pro in an hour or so. In cloudy weather maybe 3 to be 5 hours. It’ll power my LGPN7(2A) Bluetooth speaker. Or, another example, I also have a 30,000ma power bank. It’ll trickle charge it in normal UK weather, cloud/little sun, over 2-3 days. Overall a useful solar panel, easy to carry for backup power.
I’ve just started using the panel so can’t comment on durability, but initial impressions are good. Hooked up to a Bluetti EB77 I was getting 100W charging on a cool but clear day in early May, which is decent performance for the UK!
The unit seems good quality, supplied accessories and cable pack are very versatile, and the built-in USB is a great bonus. I use it to charge a couple of USB power bricks when I don’t want to haul the Bluetti around. It’s great for keeping phones, tablets and other small devices charged on camping trips. Very happy overall so far.
Due to the huge increases in electricity costs i decided to research solar power generation. I came across the ELECAENTA 120w foldable solar panel and decided to order the product to see how it performed.
When the solar panel arrived i was immediately impressed by the overall build quality of the device. It looks and feels super premium – the fabric casing feels tough and durable and the protected solar panels equally appear extremely well made. The solar panel is 4 way foldable and collapses into a briefcase size shape. When unfolded the 4 solar panels are supported by two Velcro kickstands. I wasn’t sure if these would be strong enough to hold the panel at the correct angle, but they worked just great. Set up of the solar panels takes literally seconds, unfold, place into position and plug in your USB device – voila instant free power! You even get 4 x carabiners to hang the panels from hooks.
At the rear of the solar panel is a zip pocket containing a USB charger, 1 x USB A QC 3.0 and 1 x USB C. The USB C socket is a 45w PD charging output, which supports fast charging of certain devices. Also included is a bunch of DC barrel connections for various types of laptops & other DC input devices. Also included is a DC to MC4/XT60 cable, this enables you to connect the panel directly to a solar generator. The panel also has a bunch of safety feature built in such as overcharge protection and short circuit protection. The company really have thought of everything here. I was super impressed!
So how did the product actually perform? Well it really did exceed my expectations – so much so i bought a second one! In full sun the solar panel was outputting around 86w into my Bluetti EB55. Connecting both of the ELECAENTA solar panels in a parallel connection (lead needs to be purchased separately) inputted around 120w of power into my generator. I appreciate that each of these panels are rated at 120w but you are never going to get the full 240w of power – there are lots of factors which may effect the solar generation of any solar panel, including the position/angle of the panel to the sun, haze in the sky, smoke, clouds etc. I have tested several different devices on the panel and all charged exceptionally well. My Samsung S22 Ultra displayed ‘super fast charging’, my ipad charged great, i even charged a set of NP-FP 90 batteries in a charging bank (see pictures), along with my electric toothbrush! The panels are also Monocrystalline which is a better technology than Polycrystalline, these panels also have a conversion rating of around 24% which is extremely good. The solar panels are also water resistant, although you should not allow the USB charging station at the rear to get wet. I would not be using these in damp/wet conditions anyway.
In summary i think the ELECAENTA 120w solar panel is an amazing piece of kit! It’s is super satisfying knowing you are getting free power from the sun! There are so many uses for this product, free home charging, off grid charging when you are camping or at the beach… the list is almost endless! I did have a small tech issue with my second panel but speaking with ELECAENTA customer support resulted in this being resolved super quickly and without issue – the after sales customer support from this company is superb!
So do i recommend this product to others? Without hesitation it is a huge YES from me! Every household should have one of these solar panels – they are portable enough for you to take around with you and provide excellent fast charging capabilities – in my opinion this really is a premium product!
I hope that you found my review helpful.
This seems a well made, sturdy piece of kit with more than enough leads and adapters. It weighs more than I expected but folds well and is easy to carry with the handle. The legs are a real nuisance as one will close while you’re putting the other up, it would be nice if these could be made to stay up somehow. The carabiners are a nice touch but I wouldn’t fancy hanging this up on anything you’d take camping due to the weight.
In my back garden in London on a partially sunny summer day I’m getting anything from 15-45W charge depending on clouds according to the portable power station. Left out most of the day just facing up (I appreciate not ideal but didn’t have time or space to keep moving it) it fully charged the 250Wh power pack over 2 decent July days (not 2 hours as I might hope). The most I’ve ever had was 63W in full sun 35 heat in mid August in Oxfordshire at around 1-2pm with it angled to face the sun – which is a bit disappointing given how strong the sun felt. Note: The power station will only charge max 65W from the DC input, so maybe the 63W is related to that even though it was not actually inputting 65W. But in full sun in the garden we’ve never had close to it before. If it gets close to 65W again I’ll plug an additional device in via USB-C and update if that charges too.
But it does the job and it was at least matching the 50W the coolbox was draining from the power station between 10 and 4ish, with 2 or 3 adjustments a day to face the sun, plus I’d fully charged that and some smaller power packs before our trip for free using this panel, which kept us going. Hopefully we will get some more free power out of it at home this year too, although the fact it isn’t fully waterproof makes me a bit nervous of leaving it out unless we’re home to rescue it from rain.
Durability unknown as I’ve only had it a month and used a dozen times or so. Will update if any major problem.
So while I’m disappointed with what power we got on an unusually sunny day for something that claims to be 120W and is huge, it’s…OK. But not amazing.
