Brighter, vivid projection

The 3LCD technology found in Epson’s projectors delivers an equally high white and Colour Light Output (CLO), so that you can experience vivid and lifelike images.

Up to three times brighter colours with Epson projectors²

Epson projectors have significantly higher colour brightness than 1-chip DLP projectors thanks to 3LCD technology. As such, Epson’s projectors offer up to three times brighter colours², resulting in more vivid and colourful images.

No rainbow effect

1-chip and LED projectors can be subject to the ‘rainbow effect’, which describes how some people can see a disruptive flicker in fast-moving images. Ensuring smooth images, Epson’s projectors use 3LCD technology, which means that the ‘rainbow effect’ can never occur.

If you are looking for a projector for a dedicated cinema room and don’t want to spend thousands of pounds then look no further. It has a first class picture and can desplay 3D too, the couler is accurate and the black leval is very good for the price range also you can plug any streaming device in like fire tv stick. The sound is ok but if you are going to use this for a dedicated room you would have a good suround system that would take it to the next level. So I would choose this over any low cost projector as you can’t go wrong with this model..

This 4K Epsom Projector is a real beast, it is large, and what a picture. It throws a bright picture even in daylight, and what a picture it is. Very clear, great colours, plenty of features, worth every penny.

I decided to go for this model which I considered the entry model for the higher level of projector. I love it. I have always had to hdmi through laptop, the internal apps and able to download more has saved a load of angst much easier for cabling, also the small audio socket ( additional 3 m cable bought on Amazon really cheap) fits straight into the Bose sound system. The projector is very user friendly picking up the internet easily. I cannot find any fault at all. If you want a real good easy to use bit of kit this is it. Highly recommend this.

I took my old dlp mitsubishi projector down and bought the big 4″k TV, hdr10 + dolby vision all the bells and whistles, but after a year or so, I just started to miss that big picture of a projector, obviously this doesn’t have the hdr10 +and dolby vision, but really can anyone see the difference, this projector is so quiet, it’s sitting right beside me until I get a shelf sorted, it’s a beast compared to the old dlp but it’s 10 times quieter, lens shift is so handy especially when watching a movie with the black bars as you can move screen to get rid of them, 4k in cinema mode is great and blu ray fantastic as well I’m so happy I’ve got the big picture again makes movie night so much better, go for it you won’t be disappointed. You can go bright but noise goes up but still not a distraction, but I don’t need to with curtains pulled and eco mode and cinema mode.

Absolutely love this projector. Owned an Epson before and they are rock solid. Amazing picture quality. Automatic lens cap. Focus can be adjusted with a push of the remote which means you can stand right up at the screen and focus it from a distance.

I’ve been using it for a year now and I have never had a problem with it. Picture quality is beautiful. Of course, it varies from video to video depending on the quality of the encoding.

Of course there is a fan inside this thing you hear when you switch on, but I have never noticed the sound of the fan when watching a film.

Epson are the greatest projector manufacturers in the world and this thing is proof of that.

Epson tw5700 with android 9.0/Chromecast and google assistant built in
Download and play any apps direct from playstore without the need to connect anything to the projector

Great picture very bright and colourful
    Auto vertical and horizontal keystone
    Hassle free projection
Quite fan in eco mode while still being bright
10 watt speaker is good amd adequate but bluetooth sound bar/speakers recommended
There is no standard usb port on the back so can’t really connect external hard drives or power firestick etc

All in all a great projector with android tv built in that has excellent picture quality without much tweaking

    Highly recommended

I decided to upgrade from an old 720P projector. I owned an Epson Dreamio many years ago which was great but not HD. The EH-TW5700 is immense. I plugged it in, turned it on and in a few mins the remote and my google account along with apps were all ready to go. With the built in Chrome Cast it’s literally like a TV in projector form. I decided to test the image quality by playing a couple of 4K youtube videos, amazing picture quality. Pin sharp crisp image from corner to corner, zoom function which is great to fit your area. More than impressed with this upgrade and highlt recommend to anone looking to upgrade to a HD projector.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersProjector with Android TV. What more you ask for. It’s quite and easy to setup and use. Projector lense quality is excellent. No mess connecting multiple wires and it requires only power cable everything else is inbuilt.

It’s BIG and beautiful. Bought on Amazon for a bargain price. So easy to set up and simple to operate. Picture quality outstanding. Played planet earth 2 ‘4K Ultra HD’. Detail is incredible.

5.0 out of 5 stars Home cinema at its best.

Prior to buying this, I owned an Epson EH-TW3200, a highly rated full HD projector, so I had some experience. I don’t own a TV, deciding to go projector-only about 5 years ago, and haven’t look back. Movie nights are a real experience. I did lots of research before I purchased this projector – yes it’s faux 4k, so it has a native resolution of 1920×1080 (full HD) and uses pixel-shifting technology to double the amount of pixels. The human eyes are not that clever, so for me, the real question is: “Does it look close to 4k in quality?”

For me, yes. This is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade on my full HD projector, the details are much better, the colours beautiful and it gave me the “wow” factor – which I didn’t think I would get having owned such a great projector for so many years. Brilliant purchase.

Amazing 4k picture and easy to set up with the motorised lens shift. It’s also very quite in eco mode. Love it. Beware though, it’s even bigger than you think its gonna be!

Very nice projector, great mounting flexibility with generous lens shift. The picture out of the box is wonderful without any calibration. It’s quite big, so make sure you have adequate space for shelf installation.
There is an annoying high pitch noise coming from the projector when displaying 4k @ 60Hz… the noise goes away at 50Hz so this is what I’m using by default on my apple tv 4k for menus. Blacks are not so black, especially the upper and lower bands on cinema formats, but it’s not so bad after all… i guess that’s why the UB line exists and commands a higher price. All in all it’s a great projector for its price.

This thing is a bit of a monster, bigger than the tw3200 it replaced. Its dead silent, just gets on with the job, and what a job it does! Superb picture quality, lots of freedom with regard to picture brightness etc. It does a great job of upscaling the picture too. All in all, Im very pleased with it and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this projector.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGreat projector. Faux 4k is indistinguishable compared to “real” 4k in person.

The projector is enjoyable viewing during daylight hours, but comes I to it’s full glory at night or in light controlled conditions.

The unit itself is very well made, but Very large and Very heavy. Make sure you account for this when deciding its location. The lens shift function gives quite a lot of versatility in that regard. But be aware its lack of Bluetooth will mean you’ll need to run at least a cable to the front sound bar or buy a Bluetooth transmitte

5.0 out of 5 stars Large size of unit but brilliant picture quality

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersOn my wish list for a while, but I couldn’t resist the deal of the day offer.
    Random thoughts :
It’s a huge object, be prepared.
    Incredibly bright.
The 4k enhancement is most noticeable on youtube UHD demos, and netflix UHD.
4k discs look better than their blu ray versions, but not astoundingly so.
However standard blu rays look fabulous.
Brilliant optical set up, supremely tweakable.
Whisper quiet, depending on settings used.
Gives out a fair bit of heat if you are sitting close to it (as I do).
Superb remote, back lit, feels good in the hand.
Worth the upgrade from a standard 1080 projector. I’ve had three previous projectors, all by Optoma,
    but this beats them all!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersToo big for tabletop use, had issues with Apple TV 4K as would not work with HDR even though stated would. No issues with 4K Blu-ray. Fairly quiet and good picture when fed right source. Had to return as mostly use Apple TV 4K.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersUPDATE AFTER 6 MONTHS:
This projector has been used as a tv. So after 6 months, it has almost 1300 hours of work life as it is on about 6 hrs a day. I don’t really care if lamp needs replacing every year or two. It is only 120-160. The experience is priceless to me. I can’t even watch a 55″ tv set anymore. Yes, tv’s are brighter, but i don’t watch much tv in the afternoon.

Nothing has changed. It works the same way as on day one. Fan noise is still very quiet. Lamp is still bright. The unit does not get hot. Just beautiful. I only upgraded the screen to 100″ from 88″. Watching youtube videos to 4K streaming content is amazing. Haven’t tries 3D yet.

    FIRST REVIEW:
Just a quick, 5 minute abstract review.

Bright, colourful and crisp picture! No rainbow effect! Easy on eyes, can watch for hours. Auto lens cover! 2 year warranty, 3yr/3000hr lamp warranty. Epson happy to extend to 5yr for under 200.

I use it as a 90″ tv during day and night. I am using a grey React 3.0 screen to be able to watch it with full ambient light. With ambient light the experience is similar to a ‘plasma tv’. In a dark room the brightness needs to be reduced to eco, otherwise too bright.

Lens shift, zoom, focus with remote! Top build quality. Amazing remote.

Fan noise is far more acceptable than a couple other’s I’ve tried and had to retun, Viewsonic and Optima. All projectors make noise, this one is least noticible for projectors under 2000.

Plus with DLP projectors, I noticed rainbow effect when watching dark scenes with subtitles.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it. No more television sets for me.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersMoving to an Epson 3lcd projector from using a dlp one, was a game changer for me.
The picture quality is just amazing! and falls no short from much pricier ones.
I wish it would be able to transfer 2160P@60hz, and HDR HLG, but those qualities are only served for its bigger and more expensive brother – the tw9400.
The projector is physically huge in comparison to others, and installation might be a bit more challenging, but once it is installed, it is the most convenient projector to calibrate, as its lens is fully motorized and offers a very generous vertical and horizontal lens shifting spectrum, as well as large zoom options.
Given its price, I think it is best value for money.
    Highly recommend!
