Was looking for a decent 1080p portable monitor for gaming. This fits the bill beautifully. 120hz on this screen is plenty for a great experience and the mini speakers don’t sound amazing but at least gives you the option rather than wearing headphones all the time. Bright enough, fast enough and light. Didn’t fancy paying three times the price for the Rog Strix version.
This monitor is absolutely perfect! The screen is crisp and clear, the audio is decent, and I can carry it around in the same bag I keep my console in, all you need are two power outlets and you’re good to go!
Like I said, amazing graphics, easy to use arrived quickly.
Only down side is there is no protection for the screen that comes with it, and due to its size I am having issues finding a case for it…
I bought this not so much as a “portable” monitor, but so that I can put it in the drawer at the end of the working day.
I unboxed it, plugged the USB-C cable between the monitor and my MacBook Air, and it just worked.
The build quality feels good to the point that I’m comfortable holding it with one hand, although I wouldn’t want to be too rough.
It has a second USB-C port, presumably in case the main device doesn’t supply power in the confusing array of USB-C standards, but mine does. However I did try plugging the charger in to the monitor, and it passed the power through to charge my laptop.
It also has a mini-HDMI port, a headphone port and a rocker switch that functions as volume control and a menu control.
The stand is fully adjustable in terms of angle, although sadly for landscape only.
The monitor comes with two USB-C cables, a USB-C charger (that says it delivers 3 amps, but using the Ampere app on my phone says it can do 4), and a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable.
I tested and verified that it is actually 120Hz refresh rate (although the default is 75Hz, which is more than enough for my office use).
Things that could be better:
– it’d be great if there was a way to stand it up in portrait (other than vesa mounting)
– the default brightness/contrast/colour settings are terrible, and so need adjusting as a first step
– the contrast ratio and general colour reproduction isn’t brilliant. It’s never going to compare to my vivid MacBook display though.
– lots of the (pricier) alternatives have a flip cover. This doesn’t, which means you’ll really need to think about how you’re storing it if you take it travelling.
If these downsides are deal breakers for you, I’m afraid you’ll have to pay double the price. The fact you can get a decent portable monitor at this price means I’m happy not to mark it down.
This monitor is a must. Unlike other portable monitors I have ordered the stand is sturdy and looks neat. Very easy to set up and looks great along side the same size screen laptop. The picture and sound quality is good. If you order the white don’t be fooled by the wording on the box as its say’s black but the barcode label advises the colour. Like the fact this can be stored away at the end of the day when working from home.
Fantastic product and definitely really good value for money. This screen has worked on everything I need it for (PC)Win10, PS5, Android Phone and my Chromecast.
I have to admit, I did get one issue with the sound/speakers. However, the customer service was excellent, and I now have a hassle free replacement. The case/stand also seems to of had an upgrade and noticeably much better and sturdier.
Very good, at first it didn’t connect to my desktop pc but after restarting my pc and booting it up whilst connected to the screen it now works amazingly. Good picture and easy to use, doesn’t take up much space. Also people were saying the stand doesn’t support it or work, mine works great, no issues!
I bought two of these.
One of the stands/folding covers was missing the centre bar fold that stops the display falling over when stood up. However the vendor has corrected this and now all good.
The screens themselves work really well. At home I am using them connected over HDMI to Raspberry Pi 400’s and work a treat for the kids. Easy to setup, good clarity, contrast and brightness.
I am pleased and delighted with my personal monitor. It lived up to all my expectations. Picture quality is superb.
A word of CAUTION. Before purchase please check with the suppliers that your mobile phone is compatible with the monitor. The suppliers said that my Samsung J3 was compatible but I would need a special HDMI lead. Having purchased the recommended lead from Amazon, the results are fantastic. I then changed my mobile to a Samsung A21s without consulting the supplier and the new mobile is not compatible with the monitor so I have had to go back to using the old Samsung J3 for ‘mirroring’ the mobile phone with the monitor. The learning point is to consult with the supplier to make sure mobile phone is compatible with the monitor before purchase.
The suppliers technical back up and support is superb. They are true to their promise that if you send them an email explaining the problem they will reply within 24 hours. The suppliers representative, Nova, was fantastic displaying great patience with my questions and simply explain how to get my mobile phone talking to the monitor. If you purchase one of these monitors then I hope you enjoy using it as much as I do.

The blue colour looks cool, and as well as being lightweight, it is really good quality and super easy to use.
I just connected it to my laptop and was able to use dual screens right away.
The picture is as good as my laptop, if not better, with great speakers too.
Will definitely electronics from EVICIV again!
This is an excellent monitor with a vibrant colour display and definitely a value for your money purchase. I bought this primarily as a second screen for work purpose, it connected easily with my Lenovo laptop and I can honestly say it is well worth the money. An absolutely fantastic piece of kit! I would thoroughly recommend this portable monitor to anyone who wishes to add a second monitor to their work. The build of the product gives you the premium feels and looks professional. It’s incredibly light which is handy as its portable. And the case that comes with it is good and works great. The picture quality is superb for the price as well as that the cables provided are of good quality. Exceeded my expectations for the price.
I’ve tested it with HDMI from my laptop which works as expected. Playing movies from Plex also works well. I have also tested it connected to my Samsung S9 directly from the USB C cable and Dex displays straight away and worked well.
Overall a very good little unit.
Point to note: If you do not have USB C support or a spare HDMI port on your computer, you will need to get a USB 3.0 to HDMI converter.
