Love these for my home grown herbs and chillis etc you can monitor the water and look lovely on the side in the kitchen with my chillis and parsley growing

These are a perfect size for my windowsill and I really do love the look of them!
I love the three colours, they also make it easier to remember which herbs are planted in which pot.

Not sure how good the water distribution will be, but it looks as though it will be effective, definitely recommend:)
The two pots fit inside one another creating a void that can be filled up with water. The idea behind these planters is to fill this void up with water, rather than watering the soil from above, and then the tape should act as a conduit, pulling the water up into the soil to hydrate the plant over a prolonged period of time.
There is an gap in one corner to pour water through and a small window in the bottom corner to monitor the water level through. The planters are nice enough to display as they are, and I think they’d be perfect for growing herbs in as they’re just the right size to fit on a kitchen windowsill.
The set is made from strong and robust plastic and the inner pot has a good drainage system incorporated into it. The nice thing about the set is it can also be used as a regular set of pots without having to utilise the self watering features.
They’re easy to use. Just place the strips in the slots underneath as shown in the picture. Fill with compost and put your plants in.
There’s a hole at the top in the corner to fill the base and a little window in the base in the corner to measure the water level. Don’t overfill though as it will rise above the compost and soak the roots too much
I can’t praise them enough they really are very good. I use them outside in summer for the lettuces, indoors for indoor plants and also in the greenhouse. They’re so versatile.
I can definitely recommend them
