Bought as a Christmas present for our little boy (13.5 months old).
It’s lots of fun. He loves it, he particularly likes the cups and the disks that come to put it the cup to make it look like a drink is in the cup, he pretends they are biscuits.
The milk steamer nozzle attachment that magnets on to the side and the little wooden spoons are really quite small, so I have put them away for now until my little bit is much bigger as they are definitely a choking hazard. But in fairness it is stated to be a 3+ toy.
I do think with the removal of these mentioned small parts by parents/guardians it’s a safe toy for children under 3 as long as they are supervised.
A lovely addition to our wooden kitche
This little wooden mixer is SO SO cute! I love wooden kitchen toys/ appliance and this little mixer certainly did not disappoint.
Things I love:
-The Quality of this little mixer is Superb. I love the acrylic covering to see the wooden gears. How fun it is for children to watch the gears grind together as the spin the handle to mix the mixer.
-The Dial actually turns.
-I LOVE how there are 2 mixer attachments that can be interchangeable in the mixer. I have shopped around for many different wooden toy mixers and so far I haven’t found any other toy mixer that allows you to switch out the mixer attachments. What a cute and well thought out design.
-Love the Matte color of this mixer
-Ohh I LOVE that the mixer attachments are actually silicone. It adds so much more to the realness of this little toy mixer.
Things I noticed:
-I noticed that when we put more than one of the food items into the bowl it was harder to turn. When my daughter added all the food items into the bowl and tried to spin the handle, it would not mix at all.
-Haha I was slightly confused by some of the food items as I didn’t really feel like it went with this mixer. (I’m sure there was a well thought out reason, but I didn’t understand it) Why is there a pepper, Garlic and Steak (maybe)… as the foods part of this set? We liked like Milk, Sugar and Flour, but why Garlic, steak and pepper? Haha what are we making? I don’t know, but it’s cute. Just doesn’t seem to go… haha in my opinion.
Overall, it is a great little mixer. Great quality that will last for years to come. So DARLING
I recently purchased the GAGAKU Wooden Mixer Set for my 4 year old daughter and we couldn’t be happier with it. The set includes 15 pieces of wooden play food, a mixer, and several other kitchen accessories. The pieces are all brightly colored and made of high quality wood, so I know they’ll last a long time. My daughter loves playing with them and pretending to be a chef. The pieces are also the perfect size for little hands. She loves setting up her own kitchen and making pretend meals for the family. I highly recommend this set for any parent looking for a fun and educational toy for their kids.
My toddler loves this little mixer. He puts the ingredients into the bowl and turns the handle to make it ‘mix’.
There’s a little perplex viewing window where you can see the cogs turning whilst you ‘mix’ the ingredients, which is a nice touch.
It’s mostly made of wood apart from a few screws and fittings. It has a high quality finish and a nice good weight behind it. Definitely worth it.
Wow! I cannot wait to give this to my granddaughter next month. She will love mirroring her daddy who is a coffee fiend. Cannot show photos as packed away now but can assure you it’s of excellent quality, beautifully made and worth every penny.
Although she has bucket loads of toys to play with this coffee machine keeps her busy for periods of a minute or two throughout the day as she makes cups of imaginary coffee. She knows I like my coffeee and this toy looks nothing like my espresso, drip combi machine but it is her coffee machine and she can use it.
I wasn’t actually going to order this product but she seen it and pleaded for me to get it for her, so I did. As soon as it arrived she couldn’t wait to get it out of the packaging and make a cup of imaginary coffee with a plasticine cake that she made in her little kitchen.
Personally, I don’t think she will stay interested in this for too long as she is coming towards four years old now and she now has an interest in those blocks that can be used to construct things. However, until she gets completely bored with this she is having fun from time to time.
The quality of this toy coffee machine is good and it is well made. Being wooden means this product is degradable / recycleable so it is environmentally friendly, unlike the masses of plastic toys that flood the market.
Given the fun she has with this wooden toy, between playing with other toys, I believe this is a good value product but it would be better suited for a two to three year old as his / her imagination is quite active then. By the time they reach the four years mark they are fully aware of the real world and these types of toys get forgotten. I am going to recommend this wooden coffee machine, for toddlers, as it can help with some of the development skills that toddlers need to learn. Actually, it’s quite funny watching her carrying an empty cup whilst trying hard not to spill any of it’s contents :-))
This is a lovely, really well thought out wooden play set. For a start, it looks great – much nicer than some ugly plastic sets. And it has great play value for little ones – it has everything they need to play at making drinks like at the coffee shop, from turning the beans on top of the machine to pouring in the milk. It makes them feel very grown up! I hope this brand brings out more wooden play sets like this!
I looked at a lot of different toy coffee machines for my daughters 3rd birthday and randomly this one popped up as a suggestion. There were things I didn’t like about other ones and I wanted an espresso style rather than pod but didn’t want a massive toy and so this is perfect. I love love that there’s the little grinder at the top and my daughter loves pretending to grind the beans before making it! I love the little latter art too. The only thing I would change is that that steam want is stuck in by a magnet that’s not very strong so I’ve super glued it on. And that the group handle just tests on a little shelf but. It would be even better if it slotted in or clicked into place. Other than that it’s dreamy!
