Instructions were clear and easy to follow – this ten foot high garden arch/plant/shrub support was straight forward to construct: – and once secured in the ground with jasmine threaded thru was satisfactorily secure.
I needed something to grow my clematis up as the plum tree had been snapped in the wind. I fitted it over the tree stump and wound the shoots around the obelisk. Perfect.
I bought 2 of these unfortunately one of the 4 legs was the wrong one so one set is a bit wobbly but stabilised with the soil Very pleased with these obelisks and buying another one
Use: creating archway for climbing Clematis. Last one was blown down in gales (snapped). Happy to pay more for the same item, either galvanised or non-hollow (stainless?) steel-threaded-tubing, but unable to find. Wedded to anticipating no more than 3-4 years survival, regrettably. Cheap at the price, if you can accept these caveats.
Second arch way bought and i have found it to be sturdy when put together and looks great in the garden with my rose bush attached to it> Thumbs up
Quite happy once put together. Bit of a challenge but finally finished it. One piece hadn’t been pre-drilled but managed to sort it myself. Will look good once climbing plants are planted.
My runner beans got flattened by the wind and rain, then I remembered what I used to do years ago! So I ordered and assembled the arch, put it between the beans and carefully put them over the arch. Now I can see what to pick as the beans hang downwards. Looks pretty too with the red flowers!
It was easy to put together apart from 4 of the poles with the slightly squashed ends wouldn’t fit into where they were supposed to go. I just got a hammer and gently reshaped the tapered end until it fitted. For the price, I think good value and it does look good in the garden and if it only lasts a year or two, it wasn’t a fortune spent.
Highly impressed with the cost n quality of this arch. I am very surprised with negative feedback that few buyers have left. This is the lowest price and quality is amazing. I have ordered 3 more. Thank you so much for quick delivery too. 5 star plus xx
It will be ok once the climber grow on it, but it’s very flimsy. My garden is very sheltered, I am not sure it would last in an exposed spot.
