Build quality appears to be good although the covering is a bit thinner than I hoped but it should be ok if looked after.
Managed to erect it between me and the wife, managed to collapse and fold it on my own leaving the cover in place.
Really pleased with this gazebo. It took a little time to work out how to assemble it (it does take 2 people) but once you do it’s really so easy! It’s on our patio…we put two of the posts into cast iron garden umbrella stands which kept it very stable. We had it up during the constant rain in August and it’s definitely waterproof. Just taken it down (as simple as putting it up) and stored in it’s well made bag. Great value.
We have two gazebos in the pic side by side. I’ve had a few pop up gazebos in the past that broke easily in the wind but these ones r much stronger. Good solid ones for markets or for garden parties. I left these up for weeks N had storms N they r still perfect.
Bought for a festival after seeing weather forecast to help keep front on tent dry and give a bit outdoor seating area. Worked a treat under some severe conditions and glad I spent a bit extra to get a bit more heavy duty. Assembled easy, obviously gazebo top difficult to fold to get back into carry case! Suggest if buying to also purchase a breathable outdoor mat, better tent pegs and some glow in dark guy ropes. Overall it saved the weekend
I’ve had this for a couple of months and had not managed to put it up until yesterday largely due to weather. The other factor being that I did not think I had time on the one or two days that it was not very windy.
In actual fact, I managed to fully put up this gazebo in under ten minutes, solo!
Then I managed to take it down and pack it away, again in under ten minutes – the longest bit being folding the cover up to a size that would fit into the plastic bag again, which is probably unnecessary.
The gazebo is a very useful size, though height-wise another 4-6 inches would have been even better.
It comes folded in a rugged roller carry bag, but take note – this is a heavy item – you’re not likley to be dragging it or carrying it very far!
The one thing missing from the carry bag is a handle. There are a couple of straps around the bag, but these are not best positioned to pull the bag – you can kind of do it, but it’s not ideal and a strap on the top would have been better.
The gazebo itself, though, is superb and has obviously been well thought out.
The contruction is a scissor type so you simply unclip te top latches on each leg and then pull out the legs until everything locks into place. The top auto-extends up as you extend the legs and the latches on teh top of the legs pop into place.
At this point the cover can be put over the top of the gazebo pretty easily and there are velcro strips on each corner to secure, and a further 8 velcro hoops to secure around the frame along the horizontal bits. Theer are also hooks on the end of the corner pieces that I assumed just hooked on the lower leg latches as I couldn’t find anywhere esle to put them and they worked pretty well there.
Finally, unlatch the lower leg latches and raise each leg. If you have an assistant you may be able to do more than one leg at a time and more than one level at a time. On my own I did three rounds doing one leg at a time up one level at a time to the maximum height.
Someone of 6 foot tall will have to bend slightly under the edge of the gazebo, but once inside they’ll be able to stand up fully easly.
The white frame and silvery grey cover look premium and the whole thing just looks and feels great.
Now all I need is some friends to invite around to enjoy it!
The pop-up gazebo to create a comfortable and shaded outdoor space in my garden, we have been using it constantly in our garden this summer.
In terms of steps, the gazebo is quick and straightforward setup, only if you have at least two people doing it. It is quite hard to push the frame up until all four corners “clicked”, then putting on the canvas followed by heighten the legs. We found it much easier to do it together by at least 2 adults.
The gazebo comes with a carrying case, making it convenient to transport and set up at different locations. This portability is ideal for events like picnics, camping trips, outdoor markets, and more. The gazebo provides shade and protection from the sun’s rays, as well as light rain. This makes it perfect for outdoor gatherings, barbecues, parties, and relaxation during sunny days. We had a bbq on a rainy day and we managed to do it because of the gazebo!
The gazebo seemed to be built with durable materials and a sturdy frame. We left it outside the garden on the days with strong wind, weighted it down with a few pieces of slabs. I don’t think it should be left outdoor for a prolong period of time.
Overall, it’s a great gazebo and this is definitely a great item to have in the garden.
Most people buy a gazebo for their garden – we bought this for a random use – to fasten to the back of our 7.5t horsebox, so we could stand our horse under it between classes at stay away shows, and in the evenings for us to use for sitting under. We tested it this weekend, at a 4 day show. The horse loves it – but he doesnt get a vote lol. Frame is sturdy and canopy is quite heavyweight and both look durable. Easy to erect (BUT instructions say to velcro the corners of the cover in place before opening frame – do not do this – just drape the cover, velcro at the top point of the frame, open frame out – then velcro cover to the frame corners before straightening the roof support struts, cos thats a much easier way of doing it) Then extend the legs to the required height – job done. Easy to erect with 3 of us, but 2 could do it. Height is pretty good – BUT found on the top hole on legs the frame was not overly stable, as the hole is too near to the top of the leg – so we only extended the legs up to the 3rd hole (would be fine for garden use – but not for keeping a horse under lol). On our 2nd night away there was an almighty storm – pouring rain and serious howling wind/gales (gazebo was tied to the truck with rope, and legs weighted with 20 kilo weights to be on the safe side) followed by a full day of pouring rain. We didnt think the gazebo would still be standing- but it withstood the overnight storm completely intact, and kept the horse totally dry throughout the following very very wet day. Dismantling was easy – lower the legs, undo the canopy velcro, push the frame in on itself – job done – the only challenge was folding the cover and wrestling it back in the back hahahahahaha. Carry bag is sturdy, with straps and wheels -there are 2 handles on the back but it could do with a handle nearer the top of the bag to make dragging it a bit easier. Comes with long, sturdy ties for the canopy, ground pegs and bags to fill with sand to weight the legs. The gazebo was tested way beyond normal usage by us – and it passed the tests with flying colours. Would definitely recommend i
Arrived as scheduled, last minute purchase as the weather wasn’t looking great. Did struggle clipping the legs into frame, definitely need two people for that part. Cover went on fine, guide ropes and sand bags kept in place. One sand bag Velcro strap did brake off when attaching to the leg. Although was nearly put off by not many reviews, however it was perfect for what we needed and kept us dry! Packed away nicely into its travel bag ready for the next time.
It was pretty windy yesterday, so we gave putting this up a go. All went well, no instructions needed.
It is quite weighty but thankfully the bag that the gazebo come in, is very good. It’s strong, has wheels and has handles that can double as storage loops. It was easy to get the frame out of the bag too.
There were three of us (average man, young teen and short lady) to put it up and this proved to be handy. Pulling out the frame into shape would be doable on your own but it would take a while. We just pulled a corner each and the 4th took care of itself. We then loosely put the cover over the frame before raising it. There are three sections to each leg, allowing for a range in height and uneven ground, should that ever be needed. The upper and final section does take a bit of muscle. It is the point of full extension so this is expected. A bit of height (5’6+) is needed too. Once up, the frame feels sturdy and we were able to fit the cover properly. This was easy with a bit of pulling around here and there. We then used the supplied strings to tether is down into the ground. It was fine on a blowy day.
We then had our only point of confusion as to what the black bags were for. In the end we assumed that they appeared to be the right size for holding wine bottles, so we attached them to the posts. In the end, it turns out that they are for sandbags! Oops. I guess this would be for use on hard surfaces.
For the three of us, it took about 10 mins to put it up for the first time and 7 minutes to put it away. Impressive.
Is it any good? The frame is really good quality and the result of our efforts was impressive. However, the cover is very thin and I fear for its lifespan. The frame will far outlast the cover so we need to be able to buy spares which doesn’t appear to be an option on the product page. We are new to Gazebos, so maybe this is a common size that can readily be replaced? That’s our main concern.
