So far so good. Only complaint is that the flimsy clamps that hold the filters aren’t all that secure. the filter bodies slide down and sometimes only the hoses are holding them from falling out.

Bought this product for my reef aquarium and it works good, check the tds every time and it’s 0 every time. The gph is about 5 gallons every hour and 20 minutes. You do need to make sure that you have enough pressure coming out of your water source as it says in its directions. Other than that I’m pretty much pleased. It doesn’t come with a 3/4 to 1/4 connector though, to hook up to a hose Spicket. It does come with everything you need to tie in to your water line though or put under your sink. I’d buy again!!!

I purchased this RO system to generate purified water for a small aquarium which requires very specific water parameters. I remineralize the RO water to get it to the right parameters. I had been buying distilled water from the grocery, but this got to be a hassle, was not particularly environmentally friendly, and they often were out, making it a pain. With this, I can generate as much water as I need at home, and I figure it will pay for itself in about 8 months. The adapters that come with it are for a “permanent” installation, so I purchased an additional adapter that allowed me to easily connect the 1/4″ poly tubing to a hose bib. I just set it up when I need it, and generate about 12 gallons of purified water at a time. The flow rate initially seems quite a bit higher than the 100 gallons/day that they quote, but that’s probably because the system is brand new – it will probably slow down over time. Overall, I’m very happy with this system, at least for what I’m using it for.

La caja estaba un poco maltratada (tener cuidado en esos detalles), pero, el artculo est en buen estado. El agua sale a 0 TDS, exactamente lo que deseo para mi acuario plantado.

Cumple con lo descrito en la descripción. 👌🏽

It does work as described. 0 ppm out of the system and easy to install. You may need to set up like what I did or mount on a wall or under a counter. You cannot beat the price and reliable. Forget the bad reviews and you must follow the instructions!! Read carefully!!

Holiday sale had these marked cheaper than replacing the filters so I ordered a few. This is a very basic system to give you a slow flow of RO/DI water. You need a valve at the Inlet to shut it off when you are not drawing RO/DI water. Adding a float to the outlet will help prevent spillage, but will not close the drain/waste water outlet, you will also need the 4 port auto drain shut-off if you want such features or to add a faucet. Great value when you don’t need all the extra features, even better with the discount I received, still pretty good if you also want to add separate upgrades, as the all inclusive kits easily cost double but only add a faucet, storage tank and auto drain shut-off. Some customers need to store much more water for selling brewed beverages, making included 2 gallon tanks surplus inventory and wasted money.

FYI don’t drink plain Deionized water, with replace the Deionize filter with a inline polishing filter (carbon) for low TDS drinking/cooking water, make sure to get adequate minerals from your diet or add a mineralizing stage (such as alkaline) *designed for drinking water* as the final stage with or without the Deionize stage.

I am a big time believer that our hard local tap water gives kidney stones so I opt for low TDS water and spring water. Grew up plumbing, i can taste and smell chlorine and limestone in tap water, seen limestone, fluoride and calcium in toilets, water heaters, dishwashers, sinks, showers/tubs, casted over long neglected leaks… Some people say low TDS water is unhealthy, you can’t convince me my tap water is healthy, MAYBE safe, but not healthy. The extra 530 PPM of nasty stuff I filter out scares me way less than the low 20ppm reading of my RO “thirsty water” (but not deionized water, 0 PPM is indeed too low for drinking water)

Super easy to install, can reach any tanks within 5 meters and plus it has a good flow! Water parameters are perfects, I wasn’t expecting that much, it blowed me up! I would recommend all the way!!

I pull about 20 gallons of orange well water through this unit each day. I get around 6 months out of this unit dropping my TDS from 450 ppm, down to about 0. TDS climbs no higher than 100 after 6 months of use. Great unit for the money!

Si buscas como es mi caso un kit par acuarios no es el mejor. Peor por el precio que vale merece la pena, sobre todo para empezar si quieres ahorrar momentneamente algo de presupuesto.

Bought this for the many fish aquariums I have. My tap water is horrible so I needed an RO but didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on one just for fish. Read reviews on this one and its been perfect! Easy to hook up with attachments so I can put away when not in use. Needed to order sink/hose adapter as it isn’t supplied. Great value for the money. Would highly recommend!

I end up knocking mine off its hanger and replacing the entire thing about once a year. I can’t remember buying anything but these and the water always tests 0 ppm. I can’t ask for more. I have 17 year old pet fish that I trust these not to kill. 6 or 7 of those years I have only been exclusively using these.

*edit* Bought a EC/PPM pen meter and it registered as 1ppm in first test, then on the second it showed 0ppm. Does a good job. Good product for the money. Still scared to drink it though because it’s for aquariums. Probably would be fine, but just not sure.

Have yet to have any of the mineral dust that would come from tap water. This filter is doing a great job at giving me clean water. Happy the main filter last 2 years. Great setup for the money if your needing RO water. Not sure about drinking though. May be fine I am not sure. I would look into it before I drank the water.

Product was purchased to supply pure water to salt water aquariums. It was well priced for the volume of filtered water I need. Assembly and installation was pretty simple and it was up and running in a few minutes. Some of the hoses from one filter component to another seemed a little stressed to me, but none of the connections are leaking. A less rigid hose material might be better suited to some of the shorter runs from filter to filter. I liked the different colored hoses for inlet, waste and pure water. The filter I replaced had all white hose so it was a little more difficult to figure out the function of the various hoses.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI moved to a town with water well and plus there is a softer system (adding lots of salt in the water) and water still very high in calcium (high GH level) before I moved I got this RO system and it definitely is a MUST for my aquariums. (If your tap water is not that great) it would had killed my creatures if wasn’t for this system. I have the 4 stages and water comes out with low PH and GH KH, no nitrates nor phosphorus. It is the same than a bottled water (I tested both water parameters)
    Very satisfied!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this for my fish tank to make salt water it works good for the use. I just don’t like that you have to make a adapter so that it can go on a hose

Just got it tried to assemble and rig to use for my aquarium sump. Difficult to pull the hoses off. Will update/change my review if I get it working. 8/13/22
Update: Works well just needed to use the hose attachment and then use a faucet to hose adapter and it works great.
