This head strap is a lot comfier than the elite head strap from Meta themselves. It’s fairly easy to install but be careful when installing to prevent snapping the arms! The knob at the back of the strap is quite stiff but it works, and the battery is magnetically attached to the back which makes charging it very easy. The battery weighs the perfect amount to keep the headset well-balanced and prevents neck pain when playing for an extended period of time. Everything on the headset which contacts your head, is padded, which is mainly what makes it comfortable to wear. It’s also not super heavy compared to the normal strap, but I wouldn’t give this to someone younger than 16 as their necks may not be able to support it as easily. Overall, very nice strap, half the price of most of the straps on Amazon, and work just as well!
A robust, sturdy and strong headstrap set with an enormous rechargeable 2,800mAh Power Bank and Magnetic connection. Sits comfortably on my head, better than the original and it helps balance the headset better when in use. The head strap is incredibly comfortable and makes it feel like the headset is weightless on my head. The battery pack is a game-changer, providing extended playtime without any discomfort or interruptions. It’s easy to install and use, and the design is sleek and unobtrusive.
Awesome bit of kit, my wife occasionally wants to have a go on the Quest2 but found the constant adjustment of the strap comfortable. This makes it super simple. The ratchet system for tightening really makes the fitting and swapping so much easier.Straightforward to install, took all of about 5mins to get it on.Fits very well, balances the weight so you don’t get ‘face ache’. The extra padding on the top strap and rear makes it very comfortable to wear for extended use.The battery performs really well. Took around 4hrs to fully charge out of the box. After 3hrs of playing , the battery is about 1/2 drained and the headset is still 100% so I’d guess I would get about 6 hours of constant use before it’s out of power which is more than enough for one sitting. Tried this new head strap for my VR headset and I can’t ignore the increased comfort. It fits well, the adjustable feature accommodates a range of head sizes, including mine. The built-in battery extends playtime significantly, which is beneficial for those longer sessions. The magnetic design of the battery pack is clever, enabling easy removal without disruption. The inclusion of safety measures like overheating and overcharge protection gives me peace of mind, especially during those extended uses. The PU leather finish is easy to maintain, and it simply wipes clean – a practical bonus. This strap offers a balance of comfort and utility forVRenthusiasts.
Although the size of the battery pack on this strap is a little more bulky than I’m used to, it fits well and helps relieve some of the pressure the quest 2 exerts on your face thanks to the better weight balance.
Battery capacity on the pack is great, effectively tripling the run time of the headset which is something that’s greatly needed as quest 2’s are well known for bad battery capacity.
All in all, it’s a good headset strap at a respectable cost. Not quite excellent but good.
Comfortable adjustable head strap that gives the oculus a more comfortable, better weighted position when using for any length of time. The rechargeable battery gives an extra 4-6 hours of extra play, this Attaches by magnet.
Head strap is fully adjustable, the dial on the back lengthens or shortens the side straps. Good to know that it has a built in safety system that protects against over charging, over heating, short circuit protection and over voltage protection.
This head strap elevates the VR experience significantly. Extended gaming sessions were made comfortable and engrossing by its ergonomic design and added battery power. Adjustments were straightforward, fitting snugly to different head shapes, even mine! In the realm of virtual reality, it’s been a key to immersive enjoyment.
Anyone who buys an Oculus has to ditch the supplied headstrap asap, it ruins the product.

The strap is easy to fit to the oculus and is nice and secure and it sits well on the forehead. It’s simple to adjust by using the knob on the back.
Overall a dramatic improvement on the standard strap.
The battery fits nicely into the back of the strap and balances the weight out a bit, which is nice.
There’s a helpful led display for the battery remaining, which really helps.
The negatives, the charge cable is way to long and when not connected to the head set it just hangs down and gets very annoying, the design of the head strap means that the arms touch the top of your ear which again is really annoying, the only way to stop this is to move the strap in to a position which is not that comfortable to avoid it rubbing the top of your ear, also its not as supportive as other straps I have and I struggled to get it tight against my face.
Overall, this is OK, it has a really good, powerful battery with a great magnetic set up that allows for external charging, it’s sturdy with a good quality mechanism for tightening the strap, but the overly long charging cable and general fit of the strap make it a 3-4 star product rather than a 5.
Ever since buying the Meta Quest 2 headset I found the head strap to be very uncomfortable and poorly fitting so when this unit came up I jumped at it.
On opening, this strap and battery set looks to be well made with clean mouldings and well fitting adjusters. The internal padded parts are installed last and improve the fitting and comfort of the whole device no end.
Setting this up onto the headset is extremely easy to do and only took me a few minutes. Once installed, this unit has an adjuster on the back of the unit which is turned clockwise to tighten and anti-clockwise to loosen for removing the headset, this makes wearing the VR set so much better, I also found that it lets much less light in compared to the original strap.
For extended game play this head strap kit also included a rechargeable battery that can be recharged using a standard USB-C cable which is included in the set. When charged the battery clips onto the back of this strap assembly and has a cable that runs from the battery to the original headset charger port, this pretty much doubles the capacity of the battery and so can double the usual restrictions in game play.
Overall, this set is well priced for a quality head strap with the bonus of the builtin battery all whilst being comfortable to wear and to use.

Strapping this onto my noggin felt remarkably comfortable and allowed a good few hours of uninterrupted play. The snug fit was perfectly suited to my skull, a nod to the adjustable design. The extra juice provided by the incorporated battery meant the virtual world didn’t disappear midway through exploration. It was passed on to my nephew, who was equally chuffed with the extended playtime, hinting at a universal fit. Keeping it clean was simple, only a wipe away from pristine.
This is the ideal solution for an upgrade to the Oculus quest 2 as in it gives you a more comfortable head strap that attaches onto the Oculus itself and allows it to sit a lot more comfortably on top of your head as well as giving it an additional power supply through the included battery which sits at the back of your head creating a more balanced feel to the head strap.
Although there are lots of different solutions that could make it a little bit more comfortable this has so far been one of the more comfortable ones I’ve tried it’s really easy to adjust with a dial that sits on the back of the head strap which adjusts the length and allows you to strap it as tight as necessary to stop any movement while in use, it even has a small attachment on the side for the cable leading from the battery pack to the Oculus itself for charging.
This is much more lightweight and smaller than I imagined. The battery weight balances out the headset nicely, and the headband bits are padded with comfy vegan leather cushions – making it comfortable to wear for extended periods. The 8000mAh battery means it will give a lot of gameplay time, which is obviously important. However, when you need to recharge it has fast charging so can be up and running again quickly enough. The battery slots in and out and is held securely in place magnetically. It is fully adjustable to fit any head size. Very good solid quality item for the money.
I really like the removable battery pack. I wish it came with two. I’m not sure how easy it is to buy another but I could really see this being essential if you had two. There isn’t much to the headband itself so maybe you’d be just as well off buying two of these and using its battery. They connect with magnets and send power through pins so you don’t have to plug or unplug anything to swap them over. It would be ideal for long sessions. Really good stuff. Recommended.
