The selection of usbs and 3 sockets is great my only gripe with it is the two usb-c ports seem to be quite difficult to get plugged in takes a bit of jiggling.

Yeah, I know it’s an extension lead. Not really much can be wrong with it right? I was surprised how much I prefer this over my other basic leads. It’s really great for a home office. I love the fact that it has USB connects for those desktop peripherals that require USB power. Great for having a spare port to charge your phone when your loved ones keep stealing your hone accessories. Great price too.

Hulker Extension Lead: A Versatile Power Hub with Potential Limitations

The Hulker Extension Lead with USB-C Ports Power Strip promises to be a versatile and feature-packed solution for powering multiple devices simultaneously. With its combination of 3 AC outlets, 5 USB ports (including USB-C and Power Delivery options), and a 2-meter power cord, this extension lead aims to streamline your charging and connectivity needs.

One of the standout features of this product is its comprehensive port selection. The inclusion of USB-C ports, including a dedicated 20W Power Delivery port, caters to the growing demand for fast charging and compatibility with modern devices. Additionally, the presence of both USB-A and USB-C ports allows for a wide range of device connectivity, making it a convenient option for households with various gadgets and electronics.

The extension lead’s intelligent power distribution capabilities are also noteworthy. With auto-detect and power distribution features, it aims to optimize charging speeds and prevent potential overloading or compatibility issues. The total output of up to 40W across all USB ports is respectable, providing ample power for simultaneous device charging.

Safety is another area where the Hulker Extension Lead shines. Featuring a standard UK plug, child safety door design, flame-retardant materials, and pure copper core for better conductivity and heat dissipation, it prioritizes user safety and reliability.

However, it’s important to note that the USB-C ports are not compatible with devices requiring higher voltage charging, such as certain MacBook models. This limitation may be a dealbreaker for users who primarily need to charge their laptops or other high-voltage devices.

Additionally, while the extension lead boasts a variety of features, its physical size and the potential for cable clutter should be considered, especially in smaller or more compact workspaces.

Overall, the Hulker Extension Lead with USB-C Ports Power Strip appears to be a capable and feature-rich solution for those seeking a centralized charging and power hub. Its versatile port selection, intelligent power distribution, and safety features are notable strengths. However, the compatibility limitations with certain devices and the potential for cable clutter may be drawbacks for some users. As with any power accessory, it’s essential to assess your specific device needs and workspace requirements before making a purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGenerally speaking is very good, compact, feels well put together and the quality of construction is quite good. A shame they don’t have a light to indicate the power is on… it has not been the first time I accidentally turn it off or on when I didn’t want to.

In terms of connectors, all works as planned and I am happy with a more pleasant-looking extender than those horrid white ones we use for washing machines.

It is a REAL SHAME they didn’t go the extra mile and allow us to swap the main chord as I do travel a lot and having british plugs + extender + adapter is a pain… I wish they copy Apple’s idea of replacing the main cord so I can save the adapter on my already packed suitcase.

Also, having only 1 USBC is tilly, guys, you have to at least have 3 of each, perhaps even more. A photographer like myself needs constant plugs and charging options for all the equipment and that is more than 10 devices so keep in mind there is a market for this and if you keep it compact you will certainly get our attention.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve been looking for a extension lead with USB for quite a while.
This has replaced a 4 way socket + USB A/C which served me well but was not ideal for my situation.

After narrowing it down from approximately 15 in my basket I decided upon this one.

Preferred this for it’s PD usb C + USB A ports.
It’s predecessor was stuck next to a small 3 drawer unit next to my armchair in my lounge as that’s where my phone amongst other items are plugged in (on its side) but as it wasn’t totally flat it didn’t stay put for long + it got hotter than I expected it too.

The new one is ultra a flat and more compact so adheres better and importantly doesn’t get too hot.

Having a switch was very important too as I try and turn off what I can overnight and it wouldn’t of been practical with the devices plugged in otherwise.

Quality is excellent & it’s genuinely got fast charging and USB ports.

Overall I am very happy with this and would recommend it easily.

I wanted an extension lead to take on holiday, but I also wanted USB (including USB C) connectivity and this item appeared to fit the bill.

Having received it, and taken it on our first holiday, it certainly did – and does. It feels solidly made, no safety concerns at all, it outputs the wattage it claims to, and it minimises clutter by including everything needed. All you need to do is add your charging cables.

Kill switch is a handy touch but all in all a well made and designed unit with adequate lead length + I suppose the heavy duty usb charge can be supplied by AC plug socket charger just would have been neat to have 100w input for hub/lapbook but this would increase base cost which is more than reasonable

The item came well packed and is useful and has enough places for people to use and all the different types and is very good for all the different dives.

A bit early to review but been using for about 2-3 weeks. The usb c output socket charged iPhone 14pro better and quicker than original Apple 15W charger. Positively surprised with its performance. Hope I won’t need to update this review in few months time. So far so good

Really love the company, I purchased several of Their chargers now and they look very stylish and fit well with my apartment theme of post modernist and futuristic in blacks and silver, with red kitchen appliances for a distinct contrast.

As I have smart everything, I’ve needed a lot of extension leads and all the ones I’ve purchased were by hulker – all besides two have been very robust. For the model with the usbc pd 20w and appeared faulty from the start. One of the electoral outputs also stopped working after a week

I have a similar model that is working fine and I am thus sure this is an isolated unit as opposed to a design flaw with the model
