My family all use Ion8 bottles because they are incredibly functional (easy to drink out of the water spout, lid is springy and it locks perfectly) and this one is no different.
Perfect size for my 6yr old, she loves the design and the dragons are whimsical and well drawn. There is more than enough to keep her in water for the full school day without it being too cumbersome to carry.
It doesn’t leak, she can leave it on the side in the car with no accidents. It has a clickable lid which can be secured with an additional tab and the lid flips open upon the push of a button so it’s easy to access.
The bottle is solid and has been dropped and not broken or cracked. Really quality. Will always buy Ion8 products if they keep their quality.
It looks really good and will appeal to most youngsters, it’s very lightweight but feels pretty durable so should be able to take a few knocks or drops.
So far it’s not had any issues with leaking, it seals up tightly and doesn’t even leak if left to rattle about in a backpack.
Overall I’d recommend it and I think it offers great value for money.
We’ve had quite a few bottles now from Ion8 and we love them. My son has chosen this one to use at school as they need to use them in class. The colour is bright and it has lots of cute dinos on it with a water measurement on one side. This one seems to be available with different locking systems. I’ve tried them both and slightly prefer this one (1.0) – this is more like a single lock whereas 2.0 is like a double lock. This one just has the flip tab which is easy to pull down then press the button to flip the lid open. Downside is if you forget to flip the tab and put it in a bag it can open and spill. It’s easy to drink from – it is free flow. Even though this is the bigger size (500ml) it’s not ridiculously heavy when filled for it being carried or drunk from.
Great quality water bottle. It’s well made durable and doesn’t leak. The design is also very nice and colourful.
The lid opens and closes easily.

It is rarely that you can confidently use the word ‘beautiful’ next to a water bottle, but I have to say this little bottle is absolutely great – it looks, well, beautiful in its brightness and cheery little dragons do it a great favour, and its lid plays part, too. Overall, more than glad I ordered it, it functions well, you can remove the ‘plug’ on the inside and the ring to sanitise them and it is not too difficult to clean regularly. It also has some anti-bacterial growth properties and does not break. It just doesn’t, wherever you drop it, full or empty.

It is a 600ml bottle made from recylcon (supposedly a carbon neutral plant biomass material). It feels like a high quality plastic and the feel is high quality. The lid has a lock on it, and is easy to flip open with one hand. The pouring mechanism is ideal for pouring into a glass or equally pouring into the mouth. The opening is wide so you can easily put ice in the flask during the hot months.
The bottle is not insulated, so in hot weather the cold drinks will acclimatise relatively quickly. However it is a really good drinks container and i recommend it highly.

It is translucent yellow in colour with colourful cartoon dragons circling the barrel. Cute! The plastic screw top lid has their usual locking mechanism (new design), which is simple to use, and the one-touch button to open the top (when one of the two locking mechanisms are not in use). There is a standard drinking spout inside, and a carrying loop on the outside of the lid which can be carried by a finger or put on a carabiner etc. This is a small bottle with a capacity of 500ml, but this would be adequate for most children and means that the bottle or flask is a small size so easy and relatively light to carry even when full.
It is fairly easy to clean as the lid screws off and the design mean there are not too many small nooks and crannies to get into. Please note: this cannot be put in a dishwasher on a hot cycle, and it ideally needs to be hand washed.

This water bottle is great, my youngest likes it as it is a smaller version of her regular one, so less weighty! It has a lockable cap, leak proof, smooth vented flow and carry handle in yellow with dragon design.
This bottle is not suitable for dishwashers though, as it has a wrap cover which will blister. I’ve done it in the past and learnt my lesson.
I fully recommend this bottle for any child who loves dragons.
As most reviewers have noted, this is an ultra lightweight, well designed and well decorated, spill-proof Water bottle, ideal for youngsters, albeit our 8yr old also loves hers. 600ml is a good quantity – not too big to be easily handled and big enough to satisfy their thirst. The one-touch opening mechanism is great, as is the tuck-away hanging loop which can be attached to a stachel or peg when at school. Finally, unlike most, at least this one also has some pretty good environmental pluses (as in being carbon neutral). Overall, a lot to like and a very positive and healthy 4 stars.

I really like this bottle, it is a great way to track your or child’s drinking though out the day, the down side to that the bottle lacks an air hole above the sipping area which makes it hard to gulp the water when super thirsty that feature to be the most underrated & most helpful aspect to the drinking experience. (especially if you like to take your child/ ren out a run, walk or they wish to take it to nursery / school Otherwise, great size, not hard to clean, I use this for mostly water but you can add other beverages to it like ice cubes, crushed ice, dilution juice.

My kids love them since day one, and they are still proudly walk with them everywhere! I love the dinosaur bottles, they very cute and bright, easy to find among the piles of toys!! they are easy to lock with small fingers and top and safety lock prevents the drink to spill everywhere when travelling. They are very easy to clean. Overall score max top competing to other brands.

This bottle is fantastic. Its sturdy, looks beautiful, is functional, This size bottle is good for school children and it’s not to big, not to small. It’s easily fit school backpack or can be carried in hand.
The hygienic spout mechanism ensures that it is sealed away from its surroundings, by pressing a clip the lid will pop up allowing the bottle to be used. Closing the lid gives a confirming click and a latch can be pushed up to ensure this button isn’t accidentally pressed. Cleaning is easy as the opening to the bottle is wide, I normally use a wired brush, does the trick!
As it costs a lot more than we’d expect to pay for a child’s bottle. As far as quality goes however, there are no complaints.

It’s a perfect size for home, school and out and about. Easy to open, a screw top lid, with textured rubber around to give good grip when twisting. It twist back in easily and securely. A clip on the top to stop the lid from opening accidentally. Press the button and the lid flips straight open. If has a wide spout , long enough to fit in your mouth and comfortable to drink from. Theres a rubber seal inside the lid, giving a tight fit to the bottle, making it leak proof. Has a little carry handle loop attached. It has started to weaken already though, where our young one pushes it forward over the lid. The bottle fits perfectly in the car seat holder. No sign of any of the dragon print coming away or peeling. It also has liquid measurements printed. Easy to wash and keep clean with warm soapy water. A great size reusable bottle. Bright and colourful with a fun design. Easy for children to open by themselves.

I really like the dragon pattern which is also a massive hit with my little boys.
The shape of the bottle is very easy to hold for little hands, and the spout is also nice to drink from.
There’s a double locking mechanism so you can put it in a bag, however the way it slides is difficult for my 4 year old to do.
