The power pins don’t fold flat the way the apple ones do which would be a bind if using it while travelling so that’s why it is 4 star not 5, but then it was a lot cheaper. Works well so fa
The wire with it is a bit short but I wanted a shorter one for my playstion doc that does fast charging, I didn’t need the plug for it but they are like gold dust in my house so needed both, it’s a great charger, my phone was on 40% and said it would take around 45 minutes to charge and other charges that are fast charging would take 3 hours from 40%
Had a few weeks and still working. Wouldn’t sat it’s a super charger but probably faster than most usb plugs. I just bought it for the 3 way usb. It’s so handy and just what we needed.
The Tegeli 3-port USB-A plug-top charger for UK 13Amp sockets produces a clean 5Volt supply at up to 15W, to be shared between the three outlets, ie 2.4Amp is possible from any of them but only 3.1A in total from all simultaneously.
It did not interfere with a mobile phone plugged in to charge, nor with other devices using a distant wifi hub.
It is electrically safe in that the fingers cannot touch the pins as per the 13Amp plug standard and it claims to be double insulated.
Its shape makes it bulky and it takes up a lot of room when compared with my collapsing 13A plug-top Samsung phone charger, so is less good for travelling.
I tested the maximum load a single outlet could supply with a neat USB charged battery fan . At full fan speed while also putting maximum charge into the battery the Tegeli was happily taking 15W from the mains for the one outlet, and not becoming particularly hot.
