I bought this for my grandson who is crawling everywhere at the moment. I have it in my conservatory which is tiled and as the tiles can be cold it’s a perfect floor covering for him.
Bought this playmate for our4 month grandson’s visits, and primarily for tummy practice.
Looking forward to see him sitting up and crawling over it and watch his imaginary playtimes as he progresses.
It’s large and versatile and easy to use with a clean design but easy to dent and scratch and it doesn’t take long to look a little grubby. We clean our with bleach spray and a clothes when needed and it cleans well but having a dog its got a few scratches and dents that make it look dirty when it’s not. But from a baby falling head first perspective its soft and protects them against the floor so overall a decent product.
Lovely mat, absolutely fantastic for on the go too! Folds up nice and small, very neat!
It’s definitely helped my boy roll over and shuffle around easier, will certainly be looking at getting a bigger one once my boy can crawl
I’ve used this mat since my baby outgrew the playgym. There’s plenty of room on it for you to get on the floor with them also. So easy to clean and folds very easily for storage. We use it every day.
Not as large as some other makes but we only needed for a small area. Folds up well and offers reasonable cushioning from hard floors/ carpet burn. Plastic covering material feels a little cheap/sticky but overall good value for money.
Now that my baby is sitting up and rolling, this is perfect for him to play on and start learning to crawl. I got the large size knowing it would take up my entire living room and am glad I did!
I’m staying in a rent house with carpet. I don’t think it’s ideal for babies. during the search I came across this and since it was delivered I am very excited. best purchase of 2023
Looks good, protective enough, only thing I don’t like as much is the folds are quite large so not as protective there. Benefits is it actually folds away nice and small though.
I was looking for a neutral fold up play mat for our baby that wasn’t too expensive. This does just the job and is perfect for her to play on and learn to crawl.
Tempted to buy one of the expensive mats but knew that our border collie’s claws may have ruined it so chose this as a more affordable/replaceable option.
We have a 4 year old and 9 month old and it’s really great, provides a flat surface for puzzles etc, which the rug doesn’t really allow. We fold it away when the kids are in bed and it’s pretty compact. I really love the style and don’t feel it’s too “kiddy” to have out all day.
As you can see, this was on the first day and claw marks from our dog stretching on the mat. Don’t know how long it will be before these holes become more of an issue but it’s not that noticeable during normal use. We now make sure to move it when we leave the house.
Lovely wipeable play mat. Nice design. You can fold it to make it smaller which I find very handy.
Dirt does get trapped easily in the creases but you can hoover it up easily.
My parents bought a pikler climbing set for my toddler for Christmas, but his penchant for finding new ways to endanger his life made me feel really uneasy about it. I therefore wanted to buy some padding for the inevitable leaps to death that would ensue. Originally I was going to buy one of the mats I’d seen at IKEA but with Christmas looming and my local IKEA being next to a sizeable shopping centre, I didn’t fancy being stuck in traffic and frankly I don’t have the time, patience or will power to walk around IKEA without purchasing things I never knew I wanted or needed. Essentially, laziness brought me here, which is where I found this solution. It was the same price as the one I was going to purchase but double the width. I bought the one with the road patterns on so it doubled as a car play mat too, and a o far it’s been brilliant. Easy to wipe clean, folds away easily, no catastrophic injuries, and he has somewhere to play with his toy cars too. Winner.
