Our youngest loves playing with Lego, plays with it for hours…So this went down very well. Everything came very well packaged and presented. Instructions are very clear and straightforward. Included is the firetruck, detachable control centre, fire and land drones. Lots of moving parts also. As usual a very high standard from Lego…Happy and recommended to others.

    Another great LEGO set for 5 upwards and thinking kids; the idea that societal roles in Fire and Rescue are just so positive for children’s attitude toward their development which are issues not introduced in online gaming…. well claims made for LEGO have been researched and found to be largely beneficial in wider development contexts too;

Goodness LEGO….. there are many claims made for this wonderfully engaging play medium; hand-eye co-ordination, creative skills and imaginative development, co-creative development and communication skills, let alone relaxation and mindfulness that children (and adults) so need in a world of virtual games and often a disconnection from a reality. Play, childrens’ play is so very important for their social and intellectual development (that was Einstein), LEGO has long been one tool to help develop each and all of the above….. yes I am a fan of LEGO, for children, adults and therapy.

Still the best (value) for our children’s’ development and education….

This is a fantastic LEGO fire engine playset with a decent amount of pieces to put together. It’s not the easiest set to assemble with a few intricated parts. My nephew struggled and needed help from me. Once all assembled, my nephew has enjoyed playing with this set – particularly the water/foam canon which is a good addition.

    Recommended!

This is a great firefighter set. The 8 year old boy who spent an afternoon assembling it said – “It has good mechanism’s 5/5” that’s hopefully all the endorsement you need. It has some active play value as well.

Perfect addition to my son’s Lego City collection. He is 7yo and already has started building 8+ Legos but still plays with his Lego City especially when his cousins are around. They are fast and easy to build and instruction is easy to follow. The fire engine is a good size. Great pieces and figures to complement the other Lego City seta. Good value for money.

Everything you would want from a Lego set, and then some more.

I so want to build it but have to wait until our grandchildren come to visit, then and only then can I let my inner kid free and have some fun.

IT’S LEGO, what more needs to be said.

This is a beautiful set, the detail is fantastic. The little pet that you get to rescue from the fire is a lovely touch.

Again Lego has triumphed in instruction. Often other sets seem to miss out on this side and make sets that aren’t appealing to younger children because the instructions are too hard. My daughter (8) is relatively new to Lego and usually lets her big brother take the lead, but with this set, although daunting at first, has allowed her to finally build something on her own. I love these sets because once built she’s been able to actually play games with it, she’s come up with numerous scenarios to use the engine and helicopter to save the pet. So really, this has not only been a great test of her ability to follow beautifully written instructions, but to then use her imagination to play out numerous scenarios with the set once it’s built.

Lego has again proven its worth and developed a really fun set. She didn’t get bored or frustrated building it because everything went together as per the instructions and once it’s all been built it’s been sturdy enough to play with over and over again.

Overall I would absolutely recommend this, I’ve knocked one star off on price purely because I still feel Lego is a bit pricey, but in comparison to cheaper sets it’s a world of difference and has now made my daughter want to build more ambitious sets.

My 5 year old nephew loved building this with me. The instructions are easy to follow and the parts that shot “water” are brilliant. Love all the details and little extra bits that fit into the main engine. The ladder on top wouldn’t always stay on but other than than it’s fab.

Another great set from the Lego City range. Has the usual fantastic instructions and the build is both fun and pretty easy.
Lots of accessories and it should provide hours of fun. My personal favourite is the little drone which is really cool.
Usual Lego standard of high quality and materials.
There is a reason Lego is so enduring and this kit is a good example of why.

I got this for my son who loves Lego

It arrived in the normal branded Lego box once set is really easy to complete the instructions are really simple, each Lego part is well made and the quality that you would come to expect, to be honest you pay for what you get.

Once built its really interactive and my son loved playing with it, he loves the drone that can be detached from the top of the fire truck. The darts are meant to be water but again love it so far with my son we have attended a nasty RTC where a Lego vehicle was destroyed and a building has fallen down.

Lego helps my son use his imagination and hes creative streaks

    Happy to recommend

Typical LEGO amazing quality. bright in colour, feels smooth. Each section is individually packed to make following the instructions simple, rather than be stuck with over 500 pieces to go through.

We are big Lego lovers in our house, and this set has not disappointed. The theme is Rescue Fire Engine. My 6 years old boy enjoyed making this set. He loves all vehicles toy this truck is his favorite. Instructions were good enough for my him to do it un-aided. Lots of detailed pieces gives the opportunity for extensive imaginary/role play. Lots of lego bricks in the package which has kept him busy and well entertained. Once built has provided hours of imaginative play. It was challenging enough to keep him occupied but not so hard that he would get disheartened.

It is a lovely colourful set and little ones can have hours of imaginative play. Highly recommend but smaller children will need some help with assembly.

The Lego 60374 is great fun. The set contains 502 pieces and 3 mini figures and a pet. What I love about this fire truck is how interactive it is. There is a drone that can be detached from the fire truck to help rescue from above. The roof launches darts which I think is supposed to represent water, either way it is pretty cool. The build time for this is around 2 hours, this might be more for children. Overall, I really like the set and the extra little drones that you get with it.

Really fun set to build. Doesn’t take too long to do, but once made it’s a really great toy for creatively minded kids.

Comes with a little rabbit you need to save from the fire but shooting water pellets at the fire from a drone.
An electrical mast being repaired that can flip to be on fire, and very appropriately, foam pellets or foam blaster to put that out.
And a fire truck with loads of interesting features.

The rabbit scene is very thoughtful, and nice to have something to ‘save’. The tree also falls down and stands back up. The drone that comes with it has a little mechanism in it to shoot ‘pellets’ which are just the single bricks. Mechanism works well.

Electrical scene includes a pivoting mast which can flip to turn in to fire. Appropriate warning squares and a little robot with arm to assist.

The fire truck is the most impressive tho. The detail they’ve managed to include. Headlights, grills, wing mirrors etc. But also the hidden extras. In the cab, it’s a double cab. One space for driving. Seat behind has a computer screen and keyboard for on the job reporting and a mug. The back acts as storage for the robot and foam and water blasters. It even has little boxes at the back to keep the drone pellets in. Then the ladder and the drone can also be stored on the roof of the truck.

The roof has the foam and water blaster which rotates and fires very smoothly.

I think I was most impressed with the educational side. Teaching kids not all fires should have water, saving wildlife, diverse characters. Yet a very modern take with robots and drones.

I really enjoyed it and it’s a really good addition to anyone’s lego collection but also completely playable as a single set.

This LEGO City set features a fun to build fire engine with multiple interactable parts which include a land and air drone as well as fire to hit. The set was lots of fun to build divided into bags and provides lots of fun for my child. Combined with existing LEGO City sets makes for more imaginative play. You can also get digital instructions now with LEGO sets which is new to me from my childhood! The firetruck is a fairly decent sized and looks just like the picture too. An overall fun building experience and a great gift for any LEGO fan.

My little boy, who is 7, was absolutely delighted with this. He loves that you can shoot water at the various fires to put them out.

He asked me to say that he would give this Lego set 5 stars, and also wanted me to mention that he put it together all himself with no help.

It is great quality (as Lego always is!) and the instructions are brilliant. It is quite a lot to pay (this is currently on sale for 50), but I do feel this particular set is worth it – the building alone kept my little boy busy for a long time, and he’s played with the completed set loads since then too.

    Definitely recommended!

We got this for a nine year old boy that has taken to Lego sets over the last year or so.
I reckon that age plus is about right for someone tackling this kit.
You get a 6 wheel fire truck with all sorts of equipment to build and play with.
The fire engine is great fun and has all sorts of storage for some of the
equipment. There are ladders, A remote wheeled drone, Water hose storage.
    general fireman equipment, Etc.
As with all Lego sets you have to use your imagination to make them work.
As we had a number of sets over the years I would say this one our family got
more entertainment from than any previous one.
Partly them growing up but more a case of our daughter or son using their
imagination to a greater extent. A lot of the pcs you can use or move to help
the boy or girl get more involved both in building and playing.
As with all Lego sets there are directions and help if needed.
I’ve even been allowed to play with it…..A little….
Supplied in a smart box with pictures of the equipment etc.

I have a friend whose 7-year-old is crazy about fire engines so thought this would make for a good afternoon as we often look after him for a few hours.
He absolutely loved this and was very excited to get it built. He was mostly able to get this done himself and I was only asked for help a few times.
The end product is basically a toy he could play with (rather than a delicate display piece like some), I like all the little extra bits like the “flames” and the drone!
Though a lot of the fun is in the build, I think he will be playing with this quite a lot and though a bit expensive at 50, this gives it extra value and longevity.

Again, Lego commands an extortionate price for relatively little product – but you know the quality is going to be there. With this set you get a large truck, drone and a small vehicle. Add some minifigures, a frighteningly large rabbit and some fire-riddled scenes to be sorted out and you’ve got yourself some imaginative play to have fun with.

The instructions are clear and make sense immediately and, of course, this Lego set fits with all others so you can simply add it to whatever collection you already have. To date, I have put out a fire at Jurassic Park and saved a Disney princess from Darth Vader’s tree top lair, so it’s all going well.

There are two little cannons on the drone that shoot discs at fire (because that’s how you deal with infernos these days) and another cannon on the top of the main fire engine that shoots big plastic bolts. These are all quite powerful, so aim carefully because aside from the inevitable “Lego in eye” situation that could arise, those little discs are an absolute nightmare to find afterwards. A nice touch is that the fire engine has places specifically for storing the discs and bolts so you never need to rummage around trying to find them in the first place.

This is a good, solid set and a fantastic addition to any collection. Again, the price is just… yeah…but you know it’s a great brand and an investment. I still have Lego from 30 years ago that is just as great now as it was then, so any set you do buy will last and last.

I can’t find any faulty parts, and Lego should be the one that will not be rejected among all the gifts.
Kids love it so much. Build them according to the steps in the manual. The two children completed the construction of the model together, and the process was pleasant and easy.

This is a really good Lego play set for 7+ children – my 7 and 10 year olds built it together without any difficulty and there’s enough features to make it fun for them to play with.

It’s not a super accurate replication of a fire truck – nor is it meant to be, it’s a set that’s meant to be played with once built – the truck comes with a flying drone and driving drone with changeable attachments (winch, claw, cannons) which also attach to the engine which also has firing ‘water cannons’ to knock down the included fire.

At 502 pieces it works out at less than a penny a piece too.

    A great set.

Who doesn’t love Lego? You’re never too old to experience the joy of looking at the fantastically easy to follow booklet (no words) and watching what was a pile of little bricks transform into whatever it is you’ve chosen to construct, or gift for someone to construct.

This took my son a couple of fun filled hours to make. He never once lost interest and it was a wonderfully regressive period where he was off his phone, fully engaged and communicative throughout.

Lego has the power to (albeit briefly) take anyone out of their everyday struggles, whatever they may be and into a simpler world.

This is a great set. You get a lot to play with here. It says age 7+ on the box and if you’re that age or thereabouts, you can create a few scenarios with your fire truck. For those older ‘children’ the fun is arguably more in the build. Either way there is a lot of fun and value to be had here. Highly recommended
