I brought my laptop from Hong Kong and wanted to have a standard keyboard for typing at home or office. However, after connected, then come to know that some buttons are different with Hong Kong keyboard. So, rather inconvenience. Therefore, if your computer is not U.K. computer, you have to be aware of this.
This keyboard makes as much noise as a typewriter. Not a huge fan and would not recommend but it’s good value for the price and does the job for the time being.
Just got the keyboard, tried to play Celeste which uses arrow keys to move and C to jump. I quickly realised I cannot jump top right because the key combination just doesn’t register anything. Every other key works fine but this specific combination doesn’t register any input. I tested this with another game, Blasphemous, by rebinding the controls to match Celeste and I was again unable to register the C key while up and right arrow are pressed down.
Needed a cheap keyboard and mouse for use with laptop and found this Logitech set – you can’t go wrong.
Well made, easy to carry them around. Just what I needed.
This item was purchased for a worker who is Working from Home. When she got the box home there was no mouse in the box only the keyboard
This worker is away on holiday from today for two weeks
Can you let me know what you want to do please. If you could send a mouse out to me separately that would be great
Thank you
I always go form these cheap logitech keyboards and mice, they are usually better quality in reliability and that is what i’m looking for from the cheap end. While the mouse only operates in an extremely low DPI compared to what gamers demand in top end games, it’s more than enough for all those tasks.
As it is i desperately needed replacements, the previous keyboard and mouse were having phantom key presses and button presses, that in effect fooled the computer into thinking i double tapped the same key or mouse button. It is a regular occurance with these cheap end devices, so need replacing every 6-9 months generally, although some can go out to a year or so before it strikes, double that for keyboards.
Regardless of reliability though, it gets the job done reliably as i’d come to expect of logitech stuff, hence the rating.
I bought this for myself originally to replace my old keyboard after I first moved to the UK. It worked well, and is quieter than the US layout keyboard I have, but I just couldn’t get used to the left shift key being half size and having an extra slash key. I kept pressing slash when I wanted shift. I gave it to my husband who is English, and he likes it much better than his Microsoft Surface keyboard, and I replaced it with a US layout one, so we are both happy. We never really use the mouse.
I’ve had more expensive Logitech stuff in the past and its always been pretty good. I use Microsoft stuff for work but this was for my daughters computer which I built for her partly out of spare parts and so I didn’t want to go crazy on an expensive gaming keyboard.
This is a great size for her bedroom and seems good quality for the money, I am glad I went for Logitech over a cheaper brand, I expect this will last a bit longer and it will certainly be well used.
Purchased to replace my old kb that was a) past it’s best by about 5 years (nigh on all the letters had worn off) and b) Had a bowl of cereal dropped into it. I purchased this for the keyboard only although it came with a mouse also. My main reason for going with this particular board was the “no fuss” similarities to my old one, size and layout. It is not a clicky high end keyboard by any stretch of the imagination, but it doesn’t really pretend to be at this price. It really is a work horse type purchase. in this regard it is absolutely perfect.
So, if you need a keyboard with absolutely no frills that will get the job done this could be your item. You also get a spare mouse on standby for when that breaks too.
Purchased these as replacements for standard work HP keyboard/mouse combos that were getting on a bit.
Personally I find Logitech kit very well made and these were of the same high quality as expected. The mouse, in particular is brilliant – low profile which helps with my repetitive strain, good length lead and solid buttons and wheel. Plus, as this is an optical mouse and not laser, it works on virtually any surface.
The keyboards are solid and a pleasure to type on. I am a touch-typist and am particularly fussy about layouts and button feel/resistance and this logitech is not too compact that your fingers are crowded together, but not too large like some of the old Compaq or Gateway keyboards of time past where you had to almost move your hand to reach the next key.
If you are looking for a no-frills keyboard and mouse set, that does the job well and doesn’t cost the earth, this is absolutely the set for you!
A great replacement for a wireless keyboard and mouse (got bored of replacing batteries). Easy to install, it just plugs straight in to two usb ports.
The keyboard is a UK full size version, and has all of the keys you can possibly need. The mouse is very responsive, and has a scroll wheel which is useful. The only reason I’ve given it 4 stars and not 5 is the keyboard is a bit noisy to type on. However, for the price this is a minor point.
Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a wired keyboard and mouse. I’m a huge fan of Logitech; great price; well made and easy to use.
Great basic keyboard and mouse.
I had a wireless mouse previously and got fed up with the batteries running out while in the middle of doing work. My old wireless keyboard was good, with numerous shortcut keys…which I’ll miss….but it got too tatty…had to go…
This keyboard doesn’t have shortcut & media keys, and the mouse doesn’t have browser ‘back & ‘forward’ keys which I used on my old one. So this is basic. But it’s a cheap price.
I’m really impressed with the feel of both the keyboard and mouse. The keys are nice and quiet, and I my typing is faster on it than my previous keyboard. The bottom has good grippy pads. The mouse feels nice, with a nice click and is comfortable in the hand.
I’m happy with this package. Even though I lose some features, I needed to renew, for a cheap price…and I’m happy.
