Wearing this headset through marathon work sessions has been a revelation. The comfort level is unparalleled, allowing me to focus on calls and meetings without the common pressure points or heat build-up. It connects flawlessly to both my phone and computer, a godsend for someone who juggles devices like it’s an Olympic sport. The clarity on calls is noticeable, cutting through background noise with ease, which clients appreciate. The battery life stands up to a day’s work with power to spare. It’s not just a tool; it’s an enhancement to my workday, enabling clearer communication and greater productivity.
I got this headset for taking work calls when at home and I’m really impressed.
After reviewing the calls I have taken I can say the mic is really good considering the price. It’s clear and precise with no distortion at all.
The earphone quality is also very good
Very happy with i
A stylish and minimal headset with a charging dock
What I like –
– Stylish
– Comfortable
– Good sound quality
– Plenty of function buttons on the headset to control different functions
– Comes with a charging dock which also acts as a bluetooth receiver if your device doesn’t have bluetooth.
What I dislike
– One ear operation, works great for calls but not so much when your watching videos or wanting to immerse in a webinar or listen to music.
– Not overly keen on the brown colour
– Doesn’t appear to auto power off when its not been used in some time which ends up draining the battery.
Overall a good headset thats useful for teams/zoom calls but I wouldn’t use it for much else like music or watching a video/webinar.
As someone who spends a significant amount of time on calls, whether for work or virtual meetings, I was on the lookout for a reliable and comfortable headset. The MAIRDI Bluetooth Headset with Microphone for PC has been a revelation, significantly enhancing my call experience with its impeccable sound quality and comfort.
Firstly, the Bluetooth 5.2 technology and QCC3024 chip integration ensure a stable connection and low latency, which is crucial during long conference calls and virtual meetings. The ability to walk around freely without being tethered to my computer, thanks to the impressive 60ft range, has been liberating. Moreover, the APTX support ensures that the audio transmission is not only fast but also of high fidelity, making every conversation clear and uninterrupted.
Noise cancellation is another standout feature of this headset. It adeptly filters out up to 90% of background noise, ensuring that my voice is crystal clear to listeners on the other end. This is particularly useful in bustling environments like call centers or when working from a busy home office. The mute function on the microphone has been handy during calls, providing privacy when needed with just the press of a button.
Comfort is paramount during long wear, and the MAIRDI headset does not disappoint. The padded headband and breathable protein skin earmuffs ensure maximum comfort without causing any discomfort or heat buildup. Additionally, the ability to adjust the microphone boom and headband allows for a personalized fit, which is a great plus for anyone who wears the headset for extended periods.
The multipoint pairing feature is incredibly convenient, allowing me to connect to both my PC and smartphone simultaneously. This versatility makes it an excellent choice for professionals who need to switch between devices frequently. It’s also compatible with various communication platforms, making it a versatile tool for anyone who uses Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, and more.
Working from home has necessitated the need for equipment that can keep up with a variety of tasks, from conference calls to focused work periods. In this light, the Bluetooth headset I’ve been using has been quite the companion. The clarity during calls is noticeable, a boon when you’re trying to communicate complex ideas across digital spaces. The noise cancellation is effective; it’s been easier to focus on the task at hand without the usual background disturbances. Comfort-wise, it sits snugly for hours without causing any discomfort, which is vital for back-to-back meetings. However, it’s worth noting the mute functionality has its limitations depending on the device and platform being used, which required some workarounds. For those needing to juggle between devices, the dual connectivity feature simplifies workflow significantly.
The headset is very comfortable to wear and can be forgotten about after wearing for a while which is what you want. It connects to a Pc via a bluetooth base station which is great for using with desktops that don’t have innate bluetooth. The base station also doubles as a holder and charger which is also quite neat.
I had a lot of issues connecting this to my Pc at first. Plugged into a USB port and the headset said “Connected”, but then on my Pc it did not show up, or sometimes it did but only briefly. I eventually realised this was due to the battery level being low – charging the headphones up solved the issue, but there were no indications of low battery and no audible warnings.
The sound quality is OK for voice but not for anything else.
In the images this looked realy smart and good quality, so I was initially disappointed to find its quiet plasticy if there’s such a word. However its grown on me as I’ve used it and I expected some of the plastic covers a metal core.
What I like:
– The charger, not only does this charge the headset its a stand and more importantly a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver, so you don’t have to have Bluetooth on your PC/Laptop and it links immediately
– Its comfortable (soft silicon head pad and padded leather ear cup/top head band) and can be used on your left or right ear as the mic rotates
– The controls work well (mute etc.), although I have only been using this on teams and so have not been jumping music tracks etc.
– Sound quality is good and when speaking to colleagues on teams they comented that I sounded clear
– Pickup range, I was able to walk into any room in my house whilst still in a conversation, a definate advantage over wire headsets
I’m not so keen on:
– It doesn’t power off when not in use and the on/off button on the headset is small and fiderly.
– Still feels a little plasticy
This will be really useful for work as my work provided headset has seen better days.
