My son had this when he was a boy and we all loved playing it. My grandchildren were recently taught to play it with just normal cards so bought this for us all and we all love playing it. Creates a lot of laughs and giggles.
This game is a family favourite and goes away with us everywhere. The rules of the game are simple and included within the box.
The only down side is when you end up with half the deck from pressing the butto
I love UNO Extreme Card Game, it’s so much fun to play with the family. You never know when the card shooter will blast out a bunch of cards at you. It makes the game more unpredictable and thrilling. I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes UNO and wants to spice it up a bit. It’s a great way to spend quality time with your loved ones and have a blast!
I had this game when I was a kid, was Brilliant then and is brilliant now for my kids to play it!! So much fun!it’s great that the cards can be stowed away within the machine for storage and keep free from damage. Great for being convenient to carry around without losing cards.
A handy off/on button underneath to fully power off the device. Otherwise it will just go in sleep mode.
If you like uno you’ll love this, I did find the mechanism could at times be a bit faulty and it would sound like it was spitting cards out but nothing would happen, or at times it felt like there wasn’t enough power to push the cards out effectively but overall its a fun gimmick
I first saw this in Birmingham some 20 years ago plus. What a laugh! I forgot about it until recently and saw the old basic game which bought to mind those years ago and wasn’t I amazed to see this after all those years.
I got it and the grandchildren go mad over it. Thank You Thank YOU. Well Done
Are you worried about what to do with children or even grown-ups during summer/camping? This game is perfect. Not boring, and great entertainment. Little expensive but great! I will recommend it.
I bought this UNO Showdown Quick Draw Family Card Game for my kids (ages 8 and 10) and we had a blast playing it. It’s a fun and fast-paced twist on the classic UNO game, with an added element of surprise and competition.
The game comes with 112 cards and a UNO Showdown unit that requires 3 AA batteries (not included). The cards are similar to the regular UNO cards, with numbers, colors, skips, reverses, draw twos, wilds and wild draw fours. The difference is that some cards have a showdown symbol on them, which means you have to place them on the unit instead of playing them.
When you place a showdown card on the unit, it will flash a light and make a sound. Then you have to be ready to press your button as fast as you can when it signals you. Whoever presses their button first wins the showdown and gets to shoot two cards at their opponent using the unit. This adds a lot of excitement and laughter to the game, as you never know when a showdown will happen or who will win.
The game is easy to learn and play, and it’s suitable for ages 7 years old and up. You can play with 2 to 10 players, but I think it’s more fun with at least 4 players. The game lasts about 15 minutes per round, which is perfect for keeping everyone engaged. The goal is still to get rid of all your cards by matching them with the top card of the discard pile or playing a wild card.
The only minor issue I had was that sometimes the unit would not detect the showdown card properly or would shoot out more than two cards at once. However, this did not happen very often and it did not affect our enjoyment of the game.
Overall, I think this UNO Showdown Quick Draw Family Card Game is a great gift for kids or adults who love card games. It’s fun and fast-paced, with an added element of surprise and competition. It’s also easy to set up and play, and it doesn’t take too long per round. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new way to play UNO.
This random card dispenser is a brilliant addition to the much loved Uno game. It gives the game a real lift and even more sense of fun. We had people wanting to not play but just be in charge of the card machine, dispensing good or bad fortune.
One of the cards that I have seen on another extreme pack seemed to be missing from this deck. It was the ability to swap your hand with any chosen player. There are however three blank cards that you can write on and make anything you like. So I think that we will use them for this purpose. I did find that the swap hand cards were so funny and of course slightly cruel and frustrating but added a lot to the game.
I think most households have their own version of the rules and that is a great thing with Uno. It is so versatile and no 2 games are the same.
Be aware that this version requires 3 type C batteries that are not included. This card dispenser also has flashing lights and a noise that builds with intensity the closer you get to receiving some cards. I have played on a different card dispenser that was a little larger, had no lights and no sound. In all honesty, my particular preference was dor the silent non flashing version but that’s just me as a 56yr old. Probably the young at heart will prefer the all singing, dancing, flashing, noisy version that this is.
Interestingly, there is another version availar that is almost double the price. I cannot comment on why that should be but at around 22 without batteries, this version is at least competitively priced and does the job.
Enjoy your Uno playing.
