I love this little stylish wind up Metronome.
It lasts for a good while after a good wind up you’ve just got to make sure that you don’t overwind it but with use you’ll gradually find a wind up that’s suits your needs.
It’s relatively simple to use you just wind up & move up & down the weighted pendulum like piece until you get the tempo that you’re looking for, there’s a small timing slip clip on the left hand side & again once you’ve got it figured it’s just a nice extra for different genres & BPM’s.
Its load but an acoustic instrument or an electrified dominate it, it’s a practice piece isn’t it, a very very good practice piece at that!
Plus I personally love the Ting with the Tick on the fourth beat letting you know it’s the fourth beat, ah little things hey.
Its just right for me. Really helps my timing and although it has a wind up mechanism it lasts a long time before having to rewind. I also love its shape and form as a room decoration!
Bought as a gift for my grandson who plays piano. He was happy with it and said it was very helpful for him when learning new pieces of music. I don’t know anything about the function of this but the quality seemed good and price was good.
This product is as described. Quality of build is good too. I purchased the black version because the time signature scales are easier to read than the white and red versions. I like the sound produced; so very satisfying hereing a traditional machanical mechanism over a shrill lifeless beep and squeek of a battery metronome. Lovely and mesmerising just whatching the arm moving from side to side. Most importantly, it does keep a time signature very well…better than I can for sure, which is why I purchased it. Would I recommend this? Yes, great for the price.
Bought this for my daughter who is learning to play piano. She found the metronome to be rather noisy and off putting. I happen to agree. It’s ticking is loud which might be good if your playing loud, however, when you’re just playing some gentle music and relaxing into your playing, I can see how this particularly noisy metronome is a little unsettling. Still, it’s well made and look quite stylis. It appears to count time correctly at the different measures and it winds up so no need for batteries. Very good product, just a bit on the loud side.
