Q1: How to play Netflix/Hulu/Prime Video on this mini projector portable?
A1: You can play them via *HDMI Connection* with a PC/TV Box, Amazon Fire Stick, and Chromecast. Please kindly note that the Streaming Platforms do not allow devices to Screen Cast/Mirror their videos due to copyright issues.
Q2: Why is there no sound when choosing Dolby Sound?
A2: Most of the projectors on the market currently do not support Dolby audio. If there is no sound, you can turn off Dolby audio on the streaming media like Netflix (Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Dolby Digital Output > Dolby Digital (OFF)).
Also, some files encoded by Dolby/AC3/DTS may not be able to play sound due to copyright issues. This is the characteristic of all projectors.
Q3: I have purchased a Lightning to Digital AV adapter for my iPhone, why is it still can’t project?
A3: Because the quality of the adapters on the market varies, we recommend that you buy an HDMI wireless dongle.
Q4: I bought an HDMI adapter for my Android phone,why is it still can’t project?
A4: Make sure your phone has screen mirroring/screen projection (not supported by Samsung A series, Google phones etc.). It is also recommended that you purchase an HDMI wireless dongle or Y3WiFi Bluetooth projector as the quality of adapters on the market varies.
Q5: Why can’t be recognized after inserting the U disk?
A5: Please refer to the manual to check whether the file format in the U disk can be read. This mini projector portable has a USB2.0 interface, so it only supports U disks(No more than 64GB) with the same USB2.0 interface(the interface color is black). The USB flash drive with a USB3.0 interface is not supported(the interface color is blue).
Q6: When I connect the Firestick, can the power supply end of the Firestick be plugged into the mini projector portable at the same time?
A6: Yes, a certain distance is specially set between the HDMI interface and the USB interface of the Y3mini projector portable. This interface layout is to facilitate the connection of TV sticks and other similar devices. In many projectors, the distance between these two interfaces is very close, which makes it impossible to use the TV stick.

Really impressed with the quality for the price , my son uses it to project his PlayStation on the wall ,its great, needs to used in really dark rooms for the best results
Excellent wee device though raging its way cheaper days after i buy it lol i paid 60 an do love it! Sound not amazing but not awful either, need an adaptor for phones so hdmi to usbc but theyre cheap on here too!
Initially tried with dvdr, nothing happened via USB. So tried with HDMI dvd player. Worked fine purchased for holiday. Didn’t need, had a few English channels…..got it for next time.

This projector is everything I wanted and more. It’s the perfect comparable size which makes it useful for travel and doesn’t take up much room in your living space. I bought this for my bedroom since we didn’t have a TV and am recommending to all friends. So happy!
This little thing has the audacity to be epic.
Watched aerial videos of mountains and lakes with piano music, and I was crying like a pleb within minutes as it was so realistic. Also makes me actually pay attention to it because I feel like I’m in the cinema, as opposed to watching the telly and doom scrolling on my phone with no idea what’s going on.
Best purchase I have ever made. I use this every night, can’t remember the last time I put the telly on! Quality is outstanding once focused and sound is perfect. It’s like having your own personal cinema! 🙂 One thing I would recommend is buying a stand or tripod with it, as it takes alot of adjusting and finding the right angle. No complaints from me, considering buy another as a spare!
Tbh i wasnt expecting much. Bought it mainly just for my daughter ad bedtime to project youtube to the wall to help her get to sleep.
My older daughter now uses it and it projects to the whole of the bottom wall at far side of her wall.
She absolutely loves is and is now frantically organising sleepovers for her own home cinema.
It doesn’t cope well with high light levels but with the curtains closed in day it’s not too bad but at night it brilliant.
Gonna order another one now for the grown ups
Easy to set up and just needs a fire stick to play off Netflix and other streaming services. I have not yet done this as without a fire stick but easily connected to my phone and could show photos and go online. You can’t screen share Netflix I have tried you need a firestick but it is clear about this in the description.
Projector is very neat and seems sturdy, worked well with curtains closed on a summers day. Haven’t tested outside yet but will be as soon as have the fire stick.
For the price and the size this thing is great. I am a trainer and travel for work a lot so bought it as a backup for presentations but also for using in hotel rooms as sometimes the TVs aren’t great.
Throw range is decent, keystone is basic (manual ring round the lens). Image is decent (720p), image brightness is more that useable in a lit room but won’t stand bright sunlight. Speak is suprisingly decent, too.
This product is incredible, for such an affordable price its improved movie night 100 percent. (Hard to take a photo when you need the phone to play the movie) clear picture, super loud volume, small and discreet.

We received the projector and it was amazingly easy to set up. The quality is next to none and is very clear. You can adjust on the sides easily. Definitely worth the buy.
I was hesitant to order this product as the price was so cheap. But I was not disappointed. It is as if i have the home theater, you just need to find the right distance so the projection is the right size (no option to change size) but image quality is good. You also need to have a good speaker/sound bar as the sound for the projector is not enough for a good experience. Also, I would advice to have a good tripod as well so that the height and angle can be properly adjusted. You need to have an hdmi adapter to connect to a smart phone or fire stick. Hopefully this will last, I will update this review after a few months.

This projector is great value for money and is perfect for watching films on! We went camping with this projector for the weekend and it was brilliant! High quality, easy to set up and ideal size for our tent. Would 100% recommend this projector to anyone looking for an alternative solution to browsing films/shows on a TV, and invest in this projector instead, ideal for when you’re on the move and you can even plug in a Amazon Fire TV stick onto the back!
I am very pleased with the quality of the image produced by the Yoton projector. Once set up it tunes instantly to the image on my desktop and projects animations and content displayed.
I bought this for my daughter’s bedroom and she loves it!! She has a sleep over with all her friends to watch movies tomorrow. The Yoton is super compact, portable and looks really cool. She loves it! Thank you!
My done needed a TV but it is so expensive. His room is small so the mini projector is amazing. Attached a roku device for streaming and I cannot wait to give it to him for Christmas. Others have said volume is not good but I think it is very loud at max volume. The only thing is I didn’t get the screw to adjust the bagle but I’m sure I’ve got one that will fit. Very very happy with my purchase. Feel like I want to buy another one just in case.
Projector received. This is a Christmas present but on first look the projector is substantial and a decent size. This will be perfect for my Grandson to watch films with his friends while away at school.

Much smaller than I was expecting but still packs a punch, the display has good colour contrast and the sound quality is excellent. Thankfully the remote is optional (didn’t want to use batteries) as you can control it via the buttons on top of the projector.
There is a little fan noise when but it’s no louder than a pc fan. And it does kick out a bit of heat while on so if your planning to use this in a small room that’s something to consider.
Positioning the projector itself for best results is a little tricky as it has a very short throw.
To test it I placed it on our kitchen worktop and projected the image onto a white wall. The distance was 4.5m at most and the picture was huge. I had to reduce the digital zoom down to 75% to even get it to fit on the opposite wall. That’s as low as it will go too you can only adjust between 75 and 100. So you should be able to get a decent sized image from as little a a couple of metres away.
I plugged a spare firestick into the hdmi which worked well. Focusing was little tricky as once the centre was right the edges would be a little blurry. Only really a problem on the menus once watching some content I barely noticed.
Now for the elephant in the room brightness! You are going to need a dark room to get the best from this.
All in all surprisingly good for the price. And as an occasional use item or for a specific scenario it’s fine. Doubt you’ll be building your home theatre around it but that’s not really it’s purpose.
I brought this as a present for my sister to use whilst she at uni and it super easy to set up, you can also link it up to the PlayStation which means you can stream on all platforms. The only downside is it doesn’t come with a stand or wall mount but we made one for her anyway. Definitely worth the price one very happy customer.
This product is amazing! Its tiny and portable with good quality and the best thing – a built in AV. Great for those cozy October film nights – has all the plugin options, just connect your chromecast and you’re done! Only thing that is maybe lacking is the contrast and brightness but for the money value this is fantastic! Great product!
This projector is soooo good deffo recommend if you want something cheaper then a Tv it works great, the sound quality is a little low if you decide to watch with multiple people but if you in a quite place the sound is good, it olny connect with an HMDI cable this means it won’t connect to your phone.
Although the screen is fixed with very little adjustment,it fills my hole wall,the pictures quality, projector is quiet and small , value for money!! 200 inch screen!! I’m really pleased,and recommend highly.love it.
I have started home educating my daughter and this projector has been absolutely incredible!! It’s amazing for movie night aswell! I don’t use a screen, it projects onto the wall and it’s very clear. Wish it had Bluetooth but we use a chrome cast wire. Love it!! 10 out of 10 xx
Good for outside use. Easy to use and set up, can use fire stick on it! Easy to carry around in a car or bag, good price for it! And very good quality on the image! + the sound is semi decent!
Had a power cut, so we played a video through the laptop and powered this projector with a powerbank. Worked great, easy to set up, very little power draw, good sound and picture.
Honestly the reviews alone really sold this little projector to me, when I got it I used it right away and despite it still being light outside and the blinds open the projector was very bright and clear, the speaker that is built in is pretty decent though if you want louder audio in a larger room it’s best to use a speaker to boost the sound. I’m very very happy with my purchase!
Took this on a recent camping trip and loved it, my son was able to play games on it and we watched a couple movies on it also on the night. Picture and sound quality was excellent and its compact also so will fit easily into any bag. Its also ideal when doing presentations at work via a laptop. Will definitely purchase again.

This little projector is amazing, even on a mustard coloured wall! First picture is with the lights off and the second is with the lamp on, really simple to use, plugged the fire stick into the back of it, the sound is good, had a few little cosy movie nights with my daughter, can’t wait to try it for an outdoor movie night once the British weather picks up a bi
