Great bit of kit. Loaded with 18Lb line as an alternative to a big pit set up.
A great smooth reel spools back quickly and in free spool allows you to long trot or to pull line off the reel without back winding
I’ve purchased the Mitchell MC1FS 4.9 ratio, I’m delighted with the quality but my only query is that I don’t know what the breaking stain is of the line that’s on the spool
I have used Mitchell reels for years well made and just right for carp fishing.only draw back no spare spool not like the old day’s when most reels had a spare never the less still value for money.
Bought it slightly worried due to the low price for a reel, shocked with the quality. Everything about it is perfect and built well. Perfect for carp fishing. Line is also strong so far, comfortably landing a 15lb carp, yet to snap off a fish, but time will tell. After a few sessions I was certain I was going to get a second one to make a pair and so I did. Couldn’t be more happier. 10/10.
Es un carrete muy bueno y barato. He hecho dos jornadas de pesca la carpfishing todas modalidades y se ha comportado muy bien. Para carpas grandes(7kg o ms), hay que cambiar el hilo. Lo recomiendo.
Will order a second one next month . Highly recommend this reel
