Bought this as a stocking filler for for rugby playing partner to save him from getting wet through on the sidelines and it does the job perfectly, and for a very reasonable price. Job done!
This is a good looking, lightweight rain jacket.
It’s very thin.
It’s great for downpours.
It WON’T keep you warm by itself as it’s so thin, but if you’re running around then that won’t be a problem.
The Mitre logo is embroidered on the jacket.
The material is 100% Polyester
The product code for this item is 5T70046BA1.
There is a fold-away hood in case you want to keep your hair dry.
The fit is great.
great shower proof jacket, well made, well finished with a full length zip, and a zip cover at the top, so it doesn’t rub on the chin, a great feature. It has a high collar, with a fold away hood, that rolls up under the collar and has a Velcro patch to keep it i
1. It is lightweight
This is a light weight jacket that is quick and easy to throw over hoodies and jumpers. It is pure shower protection and much like a shower poncho you get at festivals in terms of insulation, in other words, there isn’t any. Not that that matters, as it is designed to chuck on during training and teams sports, when the good old British weather kicks in.
–
2. It folds easily
Another benefit is that it folds easy. Good for chucking into a rucksack — far less cumbersome than a real coat. If you’re the family pack horse, like me, you’ll be super impressed how small this jacket folds down and can even fit neatly inside a handbag
–
3. It’s rainproof
Being rainproof, such as these jackets are, they are ideal for school, sports, days out and holidays. This is basically an all year round jacket that is versatile. A big bonus for those with warm blooded children who refuse to wear a coat until it is literally chucking it down.
–
4. It fits well
The fit is good. Roomy enough to wear over layers, which is essential with this jacket. Size guide isn’t helpful, no surprise there. I suggest to check out the Mitre website for further guidance where they have lots of useful size charts.

Overall, a decent rain coat that is well priced for what it is. 5 out of 5
The colour is bright and lovely, there is a hidden hood in the collar but it looks out of place on a jacket that does not even have a lining. However, it is perfect to stuff into your kids rucksack on a day out in the wild.
Size M amounts to that of age 9-10-11, in my estimate.
The listing was a bit unhelpful when trying to assess what size I needed so I resorted in going to the manufacturers website, that’s an unnecessary hassle!
A medium youth is designed for the average 8-10 year old and it’s true to size, so all good there.
It’s great for the kids to carry in their school bag as it doesn’t take up much room and never know when it’s going to rain in this country so they’ve always got something to keep them dry, their top half anyway.
The hood folds away into the collar and there’s a couple of handy pockets.
Due to the nature of the product it will make you sweat a bit but that’s better than getting soaked with rain.
It’s bright red, so it’s nice and visible to cars, a good added benefit.
Great price and a definite must have for any school bag.
Hope you found my review helpful
For a coat with a hood that can be kept inside car glove box for when needed ideal. Perfect for those times you need a coat but don’t want to have a proper one. This with a hood and being waterproof means it’s ideal if going for a walk on a showery day and you get caught in a downpour. A branded sports make which even teenagers would agree its a quite ok kind of coat and priced well. Nothing extra special about it plain black with logo on it zips at front and just good for some days. Not lined so as long as you wear something thicker under it in colder weather you should keep warm.

The sellers amazon page doesn’t have a size chart listed, so it’s a bit hit and miss ordering the right size, so I hope this review helps.
I ordered a youth medium, and it came as a 36in chest (measured under the arms), a 22in length (from top of shoulder to waist), and a 20in arm (measured across the top).
All in all, a great jacket, that can be used not only for sport, PE, but also everyday use.
This is ideal for folding up small and keeping handy for the occasional shower. Whether kept in bag, car or worn to go out in it will keep you dry.
Very lightweight so not made for warmth but easily fits over other clothes as required. Hood is fitted snugly in collar to obtain a tidy look. Great to carry around without feeling loaded up with baggage.
This is a very simple Water-resistant training jacket with embroidered Mitre logo made of 100% polyester. A hood is provided and is rolled up and stored away by Velcro so no issues in case you don’t want to wear one.
The jacket is quite thin so I would suggest if wearing for winter then wear a jumper or something thicker inside.
I found the quality to be well made and size wise to be the perfect fitting.
Overall a good jacket.
Very light, it protects from the rain and wind but does not keep you warm, therefore I would recommend wearing something underneath to do so.
It has two side pockets and elastic on the sleeves. The fabric dries very quickly.
I find the price a bit high, considering the fact that the material is very light. Also, another thing I don’t like is the sizes. You have the choices between x-small youth, small youth, and medium youth and no explanation and not guide about the sizes. I find this quite unclear.
This is a pretty basic rain jacket The cut isn’t tailored in any way and I found the medium size to be quite roomy. There are two pockets and a hood. No lining of any sort, so you won’t get any protection from the cold. I’ve worn it out in a light shower and it did its job of keeping me dry. Useful enough when the occasion demands.
This is a very thin jacket, made from a single layer of polyester. There is mention of a lining, but there isn’t any other than around the edges for a couple of inches, acting a reinforcement for the zips and collar. It is very good in the rain and I tested it by holding it under a running tap; all of the water just ran off and the jacket was dry after a brief shake, so definitely something to wear when it is raining, although you will need warm clothing underneath as there is no insulation provided for a cold day.
It is a basic jacket, slim fitting and waterproof. It offers good value overall, even if it hasn’t got very much going for it in the style stakes really.
