Didn’t expect much for the money but tried it on a Mercedes and a vw mann van, both had errors, it told me the errors which was great then even let me erase them, superb
Works well on 2007 Peugeot and 2010 Renault. Better if it came with a storage case but it was a good price. I tried a different, slightly cheaper reader, from another supplier but it wouldn’t connect and had to be returned . Very happy.
Bought this to try and save time as the computer diagnostic system we use is slow to load up so for a quick fix I bought this and it’s fast just what I needed . As the title it does what it says
This is an absolute bargain. My local garage charges more than the price of this unit to do a “code read”. Easy connection to my car’s OBDII port and easy to use interface to read a fault code and clear it. Awesome.
Bought this to quickly check why my engine light came on. Accurately showed the core issue very quickly, allowed me to clear the fault (which came back immediately showing it was a persistent fault). Allowed me to diagnose an issue that appeared between selling the car and the buyer picking it up, get it fixed and keep the buyer happy with truthful information.
For the price, no complaint at all.
Does what it was wanted for. Showed the error and able to delete error message. Previously has cost around 60 a time to get a garage to do the diagnostic and clear message. Happy with this product.
Used straight of our the box plug and play. Read and cleared the fault. Given 4 stars because the instructions aren’t accurate in telling you how to access and read and access codes i.e which button to press.
I bought this as I have had an intermittent engine warning light come on my 2012 Ford Focus Estate. When taken to the garage the light would go off and the mechanic could find no fault. after being charged a few times with no fault found, I decided to try myself and give this a go to see if I could diagnose the issue prior to taking it in to the garage.
sods law – the light has never came back on again since.
I have used on a family members car to clear faults that keep coming on (that the garage just plug in and charge for) and works perfectly for this.
the OBD Scanner is simple to use there are instructions provided but if your considering buying one of these I doubt you will need them.
I was apprehensive about getting this, such mixed reviews. But it works perfectly and reads no problem whatsoever.
This is on a 2017 Mercedes C63, and no issues, so I’m guessing all W205 Mercs will be fine with this.
I guess it’s a case of not really knowing what you’re doing on my part. Good news is the reader connected to my VW T5 and my Zafira, so it’s a versatile product.
Issue is it specifically for reading fault codes stored that cause the engine light to come on.
I was hoping it would read the “service side detection system” so I can work out which sensor is faulty… It doesn’t.
Great instructions and a good product.
