MSI G27C4X 27 Inch FHD Curved Gaming Monitor – 1500R 1920 x
MSI G27C4X 27 Inch FHD Curved Gaming Monitor – 1500R 1920 x 1080 VA Panel, 250Hz / 1ms, AMD FreeSync Premium, HDR Ready, DisplayPort, HDMI, Wide Color Gamut, Night Vision, Less Blue light, Black
Wide Colour Gamut
MSI monitors feature wider gamut coverage compared to generic monitors. Colours and details look more realistic, which enhances gaming immersion.
Display Colours: 1.07 Billion sRGB/DCI-P3*: 113%/90% *sRGB and DCI-P3 follow CIE1976 standard
Night Vision
MSI Night Vision, the smart black tuner, can enhance crucial details and provide a glimmer of light during the darkest hours.
Less Blue Light
MSI monitors are optimized to produce less blue light, so that users view predominantly white backgrounds (search engines, online games, Windows apps) for longer periods of time without having to suffer unnecessary eye-strain.
*Although unnoticeable to the naked eye, this can cause fatigue over time.
Anti-Flicker
Generic monitor displays normally have a flicker-rate of about 200-times per second, which is unnoticeable to the naked eye, but can cause fatigue over time. Certificated by TÜV Rheinland, MSI Anti-Flicker technology provides a very comfortable viewing experience by reducing the amount of flicker.
I/O Connectivity: DisplayPort 1.2a: 1920 x 1080 (250 Hz max. via DisplayPort overclocking) 2 x HDMI 2.0: 1920 x 1080 (240 Hz max.)

Great monitor, great price compared to others on the market. Before buying i saw some negative comments but for the price i had to risk it and turns out to be great. People clearly handled the monitor poorly or just happened to get a faulty one. No problems yet, but will update if i get any.
Decent starting monitor for people making a switch from TV. Works well with my ps5 runs in 120fps if you have the correct setting applied to your ps5. No Usb connections or speakers but that’s fine you can buy speakers like I did as you can see in the photos. Just use the headphone jack on the monitor and plug the usb port into what ever you use as for mine it’s in the ps5. Haven’t played around with any settings yet but will do.
IF U SEE THIS BUY THIS MONITOR ITS STRONG U CAN USE IT FOR PC XBOX SOME HOW AND PS4 dont buy others buy this its the BEST its strong as well i took it out the box then i was taking it up my STAIRS and it FELL down still works and good for any game no joke and ur probably think that im ai well im not and no im not sponserd i wish anyway have fu
The MSI G27C4X 27 Inch FHD Curved Gaming Monitor has been an amazing addition to my gaming setup. The curved design makes every game feel more intense and engaging. The picture quality is fantastic — sharp, vibrant, and smooth, due to the high refresh rate. So I’m very happy with this purchase!
This monitor has a very sleek design, it looks futuristic and the price is so good. It has so much integrated software to allow colour corrections, integrated crosshairs for fps games, so many settings to tweak for your own liking. I upgraded from 144hz to 250hz and it feels so much better.
Really good for price. Didn’t disappoint. Quality is amazing with a ps5. Brightness is clear looks good and can be be adjusted and set up easily. Really recommend for gamers
Verry good combination of panel type, size, speed and pixel density. After turning on adaptive sync you can totally forget about vsync which lowers your fps. Clarity, colours and smothness is verry satisfying as well.
luckily i ordered this monitor the MSI G321Q 2K IPS Gaming Monitor for a project but my x34p predator decided to pass away on me on the 22/12/23,i’m really impressed with the monitor i’d say visually it’s bang on,i will be ordering another one of these for my project,it’s a superb monitor for the money
Simple yet versatile styling makes it able to fit into any space, the edge to edge screen allows no dead room at the sides of the monitor and the refresh rate is nice and fast.
GREAT LITTLE MONITOR. THIS IS THE FIFTH ONE WE HAVE BOUGHT AND NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH THEM. KIDS CAN’T SEEM TO USE A COMPUTER THESE DAYS WITHOUT HAVING TWO SCREENS
Appears to be working just fine after almost a month a bit pissed that it doesn’t come with a hdmi cable so if you’re planning to buy this, yeah don’t expect a hdmi and the average one you have in the house wont be able to run 170hz so you wont be able to run the monitor at its full potential
The screen flicker sometimes. It goes off for a few seconds, even in the midst of performing tasks. I don’t know if the 250ghz is actually 250ghz. I get way less than that in fps demanding games. I run this on a Nvidia 3050ti
Easy to set up. Height and adjustment is good, picture quality is amazing. No Sound as it is a gaming monitor. And Dispay is easy to set up just beed to load up different games at a time just to get it to the right quality for yourself. All round 9/10. Would reccomend.
This is a great monitor for a great price. I’ll keep this review short and summarise the pros and cons:
Pros:
+ One of the cheapest 32-Inch 1440p monitors
+ VA panel is good for regular use: general browsing, watching videos, photo/video editing, gaming (e.g. story games)
+ Wider colour range than IPS monitors
+ 32-Inch screen is massive: facilitates multitasking and a better user experience (its essentially a mini TV)
+ Comes with MSI Care that provides a good warranty period (36 months in my case). You WILL need to register your product on MSI website (with product info).
Cons:
– Response time isn’t as good as IPS monitors. So, pro-gamers would argue it’s not fit for competitive gaming.
– The joy-stick controller for monitor menu at the back is not nice to use. I would prefer an app instead.
– Not suitable for small desk or chair, if you care about eye health and proper posture. Have a desk big enough so that the monitor is about 1m away from your face. Chair should be tall enough so that your eye level matches the top of the monitor.
Overall, very happy with the quality. Just disappointed it only comes with a HDMI cable.
Most would require a display port cable if you want the 144hz.
Would recommend, just remember to possibly buy a display cable if you require it on PC
This is my first time buying a gaming monitor and was worried that it wouldn’t be good or worse that it would work or wouldn’t be good for the price. But I’m very happy with the monitor and is very good for the price and would recommend it for people who are just getting started in the PC/Gaming space.
Monitor is good but it’s not really 170hz it’s 144hz if you want 170hz you have to overclock it which your average person may not know how to do it. So when on 170hz it won’t work with hdmi it just turns black so you have to connect it with display port. Overall its alright.
This monitor is the perfect size for my small gaming setup. It offers a perfectly clear image and the easily accessible controls located on the back are a really good touch. It hasn’t let me down yet and I plan to get an upgrade for my son, I think I will get him this.
I loved the stand it came with, however I went with a arm stand to clear up some space on my desk. The monitor allows with integration with other stands.
great monitor for gamers.
I’d updated my MSI and the picture was worse, so I bought this after seeing some decent reviews. It’s a one click in place to set it up, then it’s done. Great picture quality and bright. Mine’s down to 22 Brightness and 56 Contrast. The buttons on the bottom aren’t hard to navigate, as long as you can read and walk straight. I’ve seen people get in a tiz about this feature, but it’s not an issue. The colour reference is very good, although I’ve also tweaked my screen settings within Nvidia’s control panel. (Slightly less bright and colour at 47, rather than 50) The curve is just right as well. The price of these things is really good value and you’re getting a really good 1440p crisp picture over a good 27 inch screen.
Came exactly as described. Very fast shipping, was easy to put together out the box. The curved screen is amazing for gaming, the colours and graphics are great. Games run very smoothly on it. The external look is so nice, absolute great value for money! Would recommend to anyone on console or building a PC
This monitor changed my whole gaming experience if you have never used 144 hz refresh rate then you are in for a treat with this ultimate screen. The stand is very sturdy and is metal and not cheap plastic that snaps if you sneeze on it it also comes with many settings built in like custom crosshairs, low power, and much more
I had a 27 inch cheaper IPS panel that broke so I needed a replacement. This monitor is a VA panel not IPS, so I was concerned it might be vastly inferior to my old monitor. However I’m very very impressed with the performance and quality of the display. Contrast is much higher, colours are less saturated but this isn’t an issue as it is very accurate and required minimal calibration. It claims HDR but it’s barely that.
I have no noticeable ghosts or black smudge that is usually the main concern with VA panels.
I’ve been using it for a few days and am very happy, especially as it was on offer at Amazon when I bought it.
i was way overdue a monitor my old one is levono and is bad i love the curveness and so eas yto setup when you get it . the monitor can move up and down depending onehad height where you want it and the pictutre quiality iscrisp. its even better if you use amd but im using nvidia its fine best monitor i have had money well spem
I’ve been using this as my main monitor for my 3070ti build so I figured a 1440p 165hz monitor would be great, this was my pick due to the 165hz (and yes it really is 165hz as long as you use the USB and Display Port that it provides.) and I’m very impressed at the picture quality as well as the colour. The slight curve was quite noticable at first but after a while it doesn’t feel like much to add though although as I had a 24″ before this was an amazing upgrade and I’m going to be getting a second one aswell for my setup soon!
There is quite a lot of backlight bleed when viewing a pure black screen with brightness at 60%, in everyday use tho’ not noticeable, even a dark image it doesn’t show up if there’s some bright area displayed on the screen. 1440p Vs 1080p personally I don’t think there’s enough difference to upgrade purely for the extra res. In practice the extra screen space is negligible, game graphics look more or less the same, the slightly higher res shows up more watching a 1440p YouTube video. This monitor has great colour tho’ and when looking at a screen of one solid colour it’s incredibly uniform, contrast blows away any IPS panel and with the pixel response time on its fastest setting there’s no trails behind fast moving objects or ghosting. Probably best used in a dimly lit room, it’s a much better proposition than older generation VA monitors. The RGB lighting is subtle and addressable via the Mystic Lightly software.
Bought this as a replacement for a standard 60Hz. I was debating between 1440p or 144Hz but then I found this. 1440p and 165Hz and G-Sync compatibility for a good price. I wasn’t sure about the curved screen because at 27′ it makes absolutely no difference and only decreases the viewing angle and increases thickness. If you want to have people around the room watching a game/movie on a slim display… choose something else.
1440p at 27′ is a perfect ratio. No point paying extra for 4k at this size. 165Hz is amazing in my opinion and I’m glad I paid for more Hz rather than for 4k resolution. Improves gameplay by making games run smoother. If your PC can run games at this much FPS then it makes a very noticeable difference compared to 60Hz. Can’t compare to 144Hz as I never used or owned one. Although it isn’t G-Sync certified yet, it does work with G-Sync. RGB on the back looks nice. The red “nipple” used to control the menu is a perfect idea. You can navigate through the menu easily without having to look for buttons on the back. Connecting it with a USB gives you the ability to control settings and RGB using software and gives you 2 extra USB ports. Great for connecting headsets or dongles. It also has a retractable headset hanger on the side which I believe isn’t listed in the spec… it was a nice surprise to find.
Downsides…. for some reason Windows HDR is different then HDR in games…. this causes the monitor to blink whenever you try to e.g. increase the volume using your headset. This is a software issue and I think the fault here is with Windows rather than MSI. Also MSI isn’t very good with making a single bit of software to support their devices. For this monitor you can use 1. Gaming OSD 2. Dragon Center 3. Mystic Light… this makes things confusing if you often play around with settings and if you have other MSI hardware.
Apart from these minor issues… Perfect gaming monitor. I definitely recommend it.
