It is very performant as you would expect from a power supply and I have not experienced any problems yet. All the cables and items you will need are included in the bag sent with the product. It was installed very easily.

As a modular item it’s easy to use and install. All my pre-existing cables worked fine, with the exception of the Motherboard, which was a minute or so to change.
Nothing bad to say, but will see how it lasts.

Always buy a good quality name like MSI for computer products as it’s powering your PC. The modular setup helps save space and many cables come with the unit, even 10 unit cable for MSI Graphics cards etc. It is super quiet and I’m very pleased with the product.

Modular and has quality cables but if you pay the money you do expect 10 out of 10 for quality and ability of this kind of psu expect years and years of service.

PSU is good. Cables are enough long to bring it from the back of the case, and you will not fell the cable is short. Silent operation, 24 pin cable is braided so looks good, however rest of the cables are as normal. Overall a good PSU.

Bought this to give myself plenty of headroom for a new GPU. Swapping out my old PSU, it was noticeable how good the cables were. As a result I feel like I now have a much tidier setup that’s going to future proof me for a while!

Look it’s a power supply and it appears to do what it sayes on the tin. But,it’s a nicely engineered thing and the use of modular design means you only have to add the power cables you need. I.e it keeps your PC case space as uncluttered as is practical for your particular requirements.

Cables are high quality and the 850w gold rating on this psu is more than enough to support all of the newest systems with top of the line graphics cards. PCIE.5 too! Definitely worth the money.

Bought this PSU to ensure my new build gaming PC will have enough juice to handle (ultimately) an RTX 4080 Super. Looks great, feels great, easy to fit and the modular cables mean my case contains only the cables I need for my chosen hardware. A bit pricey, but worth it for the build quality that I’m used to getting with MSI products. So far, so fantastic!

I was impressed by how easy and convenient this was to install. I was not sure if it would be worth it to get a fully modular PSU, but it was definitely worth it, not only was it easy to set up but it was very easy to cable manage.

All of the included cables feel very high quality, and I especially like that it comes with the exact cable that you need for 40 series GPU’s, it makes me feel a bit safer and assured of the future knowing it is the exact right cable with all the features like PCIE 5 and ATX 3, this means you are likely going to be able to keep this PSU for many years.

Overall I would recommend this to anyone upgrading their PC to a 40 series GPU, 850W is potentially overkill but its nice to know it will be a long time before you need to buy a new one.

I was looking for the best PSU I could get for my budget and reviewed a load of products some good some bad.

I settled on a MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 Power Supply Unit, 750W, 80 Plus Gold
This looked great in my case as I have a psu cut out. And this comes a nice graphics
It is fully modular and comes with loads of cables within a nice bag nice touch.
I have been using this now in my PC for a few months and it has been rock solid and never missed a beat happy I picked this up and works well with my overall system

The look and style looks nice within my case / build
Well packed and comes with more cables than you could need in a nice cable bag.
A 7-year warranty is peace of mind for me.
The build quality is great fan is quiet as well.

Dislikes, the cables are very hard to try to bend within a case however it is great that MSI supplied so many cables more than one would need.

5.0 out of 5 stars can MSI live up to the name and not disappoint.

Very good quality PSU with strong modular cables – including 12hvpwr (on both PSU and GPU side) which fits in my 4090 tightly. Compact size and fits in my small PC case. Zero fan mode is a plus!

Decided to go with the MSI MPG A1000G – It’s been great!

PCIE5 and ATX3 pretty much ensures this PSU is future-proof in the sense that you’ll get a few builds out of it. 10 year warranty is appreciated!

Whisper quiet, no coil whine and the power delivery is incredibly stable. Cables are great, and the manual available on the website is better than most.

PSU prices have been up and down as of recent and this stood out as a better priced PSU in the UK.
When buying a PSU, you’d want to ensure the system remains under 80% of its max load; that keeps it efficent.

I recently decided to try out an MSI PSU for the first time, and my initial impression was nothing short of impressive. The product exudes quality and is packed with the latest features, including support for PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0 standards. MSI has definitely stepped up their game in the power supply department.

During my setup, I encountered a minor issue with one of the cables. However, my experience took a turn for the better when I reached out to MSI’s customer support team. Their response was lightning-fast, and they went above and beyond to resolve my issue promptly. This level of customer support truly sets MSI apart from the competition.

Based on my experience, I wholeheartedly recommend the MSI brand for power supplies and other PC components. Their commitment to quality and exceptional customer service has won me over, and I’ll definitely be considering MSI products for future builds.

I love the look of this PSU and it’s great that it is modular so you don’t have extra cables cluttering up your build and it’s so easy to fit. I chose this power supply with 12vhpwr because MSI is a brand I can trust and it is future proofed ready for my next GPU upgrade. If you are looking at a 1000w PSU this product will exceed your expectations as it has everything you could wish for The looks, the ease of fitting, the power and a reliable name you can trust. Top marks for MSI.

5.0 out of 5 stars With great power comes great looks and greater graphics

Taking the PSU out of the box, you can already feel that’s it’s made from quality materials. Plenty of spare nicely organised cables included for use with your PC, and it even has a silent mode, which is ideal for enthusiasts who are concerned about the dB level of their machines.

The included 12V cables/port makes future proofing easier, as well as the 1000W of power that it can supply. I was close to the power limit with my old PSU, but this gives me some headroom if I want to use beefier components.

With a 10 year warranty, can’t go wrong for the price. Would recommend.

I’ve bought this psu after upgrading my PC with Radeon 6800xt and R7 5700x. My previous 650w psu was lacking in power for my needs. My previous experience was a loud coil whine, laggy gaming when watching youtube and twitch on a 2nd monitor. This MSI 1000w psu gave my PC a huge boost in performance and in quality of work. MSI MPG A1000G was my choice when choosing a new psu due to the new PCIE5 port, this will make my life easier in few years when I will decide to change my gpu for a new model. Overall, my experience with this psu is excellent. Cables ain’t too stiff and the length is good even for a larger cases. Also the zero rpm mode is good but not necessary as psu is quite even with the mode off.

First unit received had unknown fault – wouldn’t power up. Replacement requested (which came the very next day) and installed. Using just the leads you require keeps clutter to minimum. Fitted into upgrade with Z690-A mobo and RTX 2080 super. DDR5 ram installed. MAG A750 runs whisper quiet – not given a hard run yet though.

Brilliant power supply – does exactly what it says on the tin. All the necessary cables are included, as well as the new 12VHPWR cable used by the latest Nvidia GPUs, which has yellow connectors to help ensure you insert it correctly. Very happy with my purchase.

I much prefer this style of power supply, which comes with a large pack of cables to choose from and sockets on the unit to connect them into. It really is plug and play, and you only need to install those required. The alternative is a unit with all the cables permanently wired in, whether you need them or not.

The cables are delivered in a custom designed pouch so you can store those unused in case they are required later.

I bought this as an upgrade when fitting a new graphics card – the old PSU didn’t have the right connections and wasn’t quite powerful enough. Fairly straightforward swapout – just make sure you make a note or take pictures of the old connections before you remove them.

The bundle of cables that come with the power supply are pretty comprehensive and having the native 12vhpwr ATX 3 makes it feel a whole bunch safer to use with an rtx card than the alternative multiple merged pcie connectors of most other power supplies.

Quality seems great, absolutely no complaints at all, can only recommend.

This is replacing my older coolermaster having upgraded to a 3090 and it not being to handle it. A lot of my components are MSI and I have always had good experiences with them and this PSU is no different. Good internal components from a reputable brand with a good warranty length. it comes with the new connection type for future graphics card which is a bonus. its very quiet and easy to install. My only gripe would be the cables. I know flat cables are easier to pack behind the rear panel but at this point they feel a little cheap and braided ones would have been a nice perk. ocerall very happy and would highly recommend.

Been using this PSU for the past four months in my new built with 7800X3D and RTX 4090. It’s been absolute rock solid stability and not had a single issue or crash from power instability. The native ATX 3.0 cable allows for a clean build without the need for adaptors. The fan is also silent even whilst gaming. The cables are very flexible and individually sleeved making them easy to route around the case. Since its completely modular, I can just plug in what I need to keep cable management to a minimum. It also comes with a 10 year warranty which provides peace of mind and it can be moved over to the next build as well.

The only downside is the price which is slightly on the expensive side. But if you are looking for a high wattage premium quality platinum power supply, I will recommend this MSI MEG Ai 1300P.

seen some reviews for this power supply and ended up replacing my old 850w pcie 5.0 for this one just because i could trust msi’s build quality and warranty more than the others. this psu ive installed it very easy btw no issues not really much else to say great quality psu great warranty great size great cables that another the cables are very good there’s sleeved and non sleeved also comes with a kettle lead which my old psu did not very happy with this purchase

I bought this PSU together with a new graphics card. It’s really too much for my current pc but power supplies are a component that can last years and carry over into multiple builds. The modular leads are labelled and it only took me a moment looking at the locking tabs to identify which end went into the PSU. I can’t imagine why they make the 24 pin motherboard and 8 pin cpu connectors modular since they’ll always be required but that’s the way they are. Plenty of cables for anything, including molex (presumably to power fan hubs) and multiple pcie plus an nvidia 12 pin that’ll save using adaptors. Very quiet in operation with a switch to turn off the fan at low loads.

My old power supply died an ax850 from corsair lasted me about 12 years, so had to buy a new psu to fix my PC
saw this MSI was a good price has a lot of new things like PCIE5, which includes a +12VHPWR 600w cable for newer GPUs so, in time for me when I get a new gfx card this will be good.
Using this MSI MPG PSU it is very good it does not make a lot of noise if any at all so thats a plus has a small footprint to fit into a case very Compact for its size aslo the 12 volt rail on this is high so thats good it is a quality unit built by CWT.
The cable connections could be better the mobo atx cable could be made not flat as I had to twist it to get it into point on the mobo.
I say msi should make all the cables not flat as they are very wide and a bit hard to get around things in a case.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis was the best value ATX 3.0 PSU I could find for my new RTX 4080 build, without cutting corners on quality. Very pleased with it so far – fit perfectly into my case. Cables are good quality as far as bundled ones go, and I love the cable storage bag that’s included. The 12 VHPWR cable is braided and quite thick, and a little hard to bend/shape – I appreciate the quality, but because you have to be careful not to stress the GPU connector the cable touches the side panel when installed; the 4080 GPU is huge! This doesn’t affect anything beyond aesthetics, but because MSI is a big company it’s easy to find alternative modded cables if you want (be careful to check the pinouts if you do).

It’s very quiet in operation, and I’ve overclocked both my CPU and GPU with no power delivery issues. No complaints at this price point, and it comes from a reputable brand. I toyed with the idea of going with the Corsair RMx series, but for the same price, that one isn’t an ATX 3.0 PSU so I’d have had to use the triple PCIe to 12VHPWR adapter and messed up my minimalist cable management.

So glad I went with MSI on this one, the lengthy warranty and quality build make this easy to recommend, and it paired well with the MSI Z690 MOBO I chose, too. Will definitely be going MSI on my next build!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe power supply works well and is very quiet, the auto fan stop works great and won’t kick in unless I’m really pushing my 3080 and 7900x and even when it does, the bearing design is good with no annoying noises, you will hear other things in your system before you hear this.

Wanted a new PSU that has the new 12VHPWR connector for the future, with the current cashback offer of 20 back that will make this power supply 120, 5 cheaper than corsairs refresh of the RM850E at 125 which also includes the new cable. However the E line from corsair does not use japanese caps, has a shorter 7 year warranty and have seen many complaints of the fan constantly stopping and starting with even low load applied and horrible bearing noise from the fan.

This power supply is more akin to the RM850(x) lineup, with a highly quality caps, made by a good ODM with a solid record and a 10 year warranty, if you can get it right now with the cashback it’s absolutely worth it, at 140 it’s pretty close to corsair’s high end stuff so I may look there instead, just depends on current pricing.

It also includes a 12VHPWR PSU side to 2×8 pin PCIe cable so you can use that for clean cable management instead of running two separate 8 pins if you don’t have a 12VHPWR GPU yet. I fully expect all high end GPU’s to move over to the new standard in the future so I’m happy my power supply is ready for it when I upgrade in a few years.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought the MSI psu to run my new Asus 4070ti . Came well boxed and good packing . I like everything about it , apart from the cheap and tacky ribbon cables . So I am having to purchase some better cables ( sleeved ) MSI really need to do better , after all its not a cheap PSU .
Registering PSU was a nightmare ( PLEASE RIGHT DOWN the CHK CODE .. before installing the psu) as you need it to register and the code is NOT on the packaging .
I am running it as I type and it is whisper quiet ( I have both panels off ) and can barely hear it from 500mm away . Not a lot of room to connect cables into the psu , I have an ITX build and case . The 12VHPWR cable is a single braided affair , just be careful when attaching it and DO NOT put a sharp bend in it ( I will be putting a CABLEMOD connector on at a later date to cable manage and hopefully sort out the heat problem . Cable touches the windowed panel , so I dont have any sharp bends . I hope this short and Honest review is helpful to those that are contemplating purchasing an MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 PSU
