Moderkortet fungerar smrtfritt i datorbygget. Inga beskymmer alls! Perfekt!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI purchased this motherboard for an upgrade to my system using a new Ryzen CPU. Overall I have been satisfied with the product.

The previous board I had was a MSI Gaming M5 for an Intel 6th gen CPU. I liked a lot of the features, ease of use and the UEFI which led me to stick with them on the second go around. The X670-P WIFI didn’t disappoint either.

To start, There are a lot of things I like about this motherboard:

-Simple UEFI/BIOS that is easy to find what you are looking for without spending too much time in.
-MSI Center software that lets you easily monitor system specs, you can also add/remove certain parts of the software that you may or may not need which is a big plus for me.
-Multiple Fan headers and dedicated header for a AIO pump, this is pretty standard on most boards these days but you can never have too many connectors for fans with newer cases seeming to have more and more each generation. (8 Total headers)
-USB headers and connections, there are (2) 2.0, (2) 3.2 Gen1 and (1) 3.2 Gen 2 headers. I have only used a single for my case but like there are is plenty of options.
-RGB connections for 3 and 4 pin, gives a lot of compatibility between RGB components right now.
-Quality of the board and the finishes on the heatsinks feel very sturdy and premium. The overall aesthetic is nice and can go with many color schemes.
-4 M.2 Slots provide plenty of expansion of drives, M.2 is quickly becoming the go to for storage so having several to use is nice for the future.

There are a few things I do wish could be added or improved, although most of these are preferences and probably not the opinion of the majority:

-The newer motherboards seem to be favoring LEDs that indicate failures in the POST, my previous MSI board had a counter display that could give specific error codes and would display the CPU temp during normal operation. In the ~$200 USD price range this seems like it would be a reasonable addition.
-No options for boards without the built in Wi-Fi on the higher end, this is probably an unpopular opinion but I use wired connections for my desktop and just ended up disabling anyway. I’m sure there are plenty that enjoy this feature but would be nice to have a cheaper model without it.
-More USB A connections on the rear panel as there are (6) with (2) USB C. The USB is great but I still have many peripherals that use the older A type and would be nice to not have to unplug, use a hub or get an adapter to use the type C. There are multiple headers so some cases may alleviate this problem with front panel connections.

Overall, I really like this board and its features for the price point. There are not a lot of X670 chipsets that can be had for this price and for that I think it adds a lot of value. I have not had a lot of time to really dive into all the settings on the board and test, but haven’t found any performance issues yet. Most of my complaints are minor and therefore I will still give it a five star rating. If you are in the market for an X670 AM5 board, I would strongly advise considering this one for the price point and included features.

Installe avec un 7950X3D, un Corsair pro et une RTX4080, la carte est vraiment gniale. Petit bmol sur le logo de chargement MSI un peu moche, mais l’installation et les drivers prchargs aident bien. Trs content de mon achat.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMake sure you update the BIOS first, ..and do not change the memory training settings-it will take a little longer to POST but it will work flawlessly. Works well with 7000 MHz DRR5 memories x2, tested OC up to 7700, but I’m using the default XMP at 7000 MHz with low latency. Gen 5 Nvme transfer rate 10000+, consistent with my nvme specs.
Lots of fan connectors, 6 PWM fan, 2RGB, 2ARGB V2, Cpu and separate water pump connectors. You will need a PSU with 2xCPU connectors. Works well with 2NVME, 1SSD, and 2HDD in RAID1 mode storage devices connected.

MSI Motherboards have always been great, this one lives up to its name.

I’ve had this motherboard for just over two weeks and paired it with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
6000 CL30 RAM with AMD Expo enabled.

Amazing aesthetic, incredibly stable, perfect for AM5.
Tons of features, great for overclocking, good power delivery.

I do hope MSI plan to improve the MSI Center application, this actually caused the system to misread CPU temps and eventually lead to me uninstalling it.

If you’re looking for a great X670E board, this will do!

The only thing i found negative on this board is the quick release M2. Turnkey style place holders- i would have oreffferred a regular screw type to hold in my M2 NvMe drives. The turnkeys are a very very flimsy pkadtic and brreak very easily if like me you have big heavy handed fingers. Also they seem rather pointless as you still need to remove the screws holding in the heat shields so the “quick release” design is kind of negated by that fact, so realustically they are simply designed so that the screw holding in the heatshield is not what holds in the drive. They do come with the regular type of place holders for M2 Drives (needed if yours have their own or 3rd party heatshields but NOTE that you will not be able to use the MSI heatshields with these as the hole that the heatshield screw goes into is now replaced with the screw that holds the M2 place holder screw – TO SUMMISE – quick release are delicate, somewhat pointless as are only served to allow use of the MSI heatshield. The alternative type that are included eill not allow the use of the MSI Heatshields..

    Otherwise a fantastic board!

Great motherboard. Easy to set up, the online manual is great, and it looks sleek. I did have one issue regarding DDR5 memory instability with EXPO enabled but this was easily rectified by flashing a more recent version of the BIOS. If you want AM5 X670E, I’d recommend this board.

I had run into a number of issues with an ROG board that ended in multiple instability issues and freezes on memory training despite all my spec meeting requirements (QVL etc) I gave up and went back to MSI like I usually do. As usual I was met with stability and the ability to use everything I have and overclock simply. I have had zero issues since swapping over. Just wish I had done it in the first place.

Extrem viele USB Anschlsse, 10G LAN, integriertes WLAN 6E (fr mich sehr wichtig), 3 PICE 5.0 Slots …. welches andere Board selbst in der Preisklasse bietet 3 PCIE 5?

Several compatibility problems, more specifically with DD5 RAMs sticks.
I decided to change to this MSI model and all works fine!

I feel bad for people who received faulty/damaged units

I had an ASUS Crosshair X670E before this and it was an absolute pile of garbage. It had nothing but bugs and issues. I ordered this in the hope that some of my issues went away.

The packaging is dull, but the board itself is absolutely brilliant. All of my issues went away. Memory context restore actually works, EXPO 6000MHZ works, CPU runs cooler because it’s not being constantly over volted, POST times are very quick (once memory context is on)

Overall very glad I switched from the broken 620 ASUS to this MSI board. I have lots of AM4 MSI boards too, and they’re all solid, from budget to high end.

My advice is to get this board from another reputable UK reseller and enjoy the product.

Love the Simplicity about this board after swapping out from a competitor after a unstable product. happily I’m not having this issue with this board. only fault is not enuff usb headers. But for what you pay it lands in the sweet spot.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAn expensive motherboard but worth it if you will use the extra features. By far the biggest draw for this board (as another reviewer pointed out) is that is does not take away from the GPU lanes if all NVME/Sata slots are populated. This is massive compared to most other AM5 boards if you hold a lot of data/media. I originally had a Strix motherboard but felt like I could never use the 4th slot, which kind of defeated the point of having it.

The post code screen is handy, that it tells you the CPU temp. If RGB matters , the Dragon logo looks great, in a subtle way, that I prefer. There are lots of connections and all at the edges of the board so you shouldn’t have any problems. The primary GPU slot is super low down, if your case has fans at the bottom they are literally two inchs away, its great for making sure your GPU never has to spin up and become noisy.

The one click Bios is as dependable as ever. Top tip, put your CPU in Eco mode. Significantly less power and noise and little to no performance loss (in fact its a gain for me as it boosts more consistently). With my 7600x I prefer 65 TDP. The Bios has been updated and it now boots 50% faster, which is great.

The downsides (as there is with any board) are as follows. The board is slightly tacky on the back, looks uniform but is likely some residue left over from the factory. Only one ARG three pin header (though there are two 4 pin ones, and I believe they include a convertor?). Washers under the NVME heatsinks look a little cheap and liable to be lost. No paper manual. Only small nit picks, but I’m considering the price point when writing this.

Overall a great board, so I’m happy to give this a 4 out of 5 stars. Excellent compared to other AM5 boards and “good” in the wider PC ecosystem. Should last many years, with AMD’s continued CPU socket support. Recommended.

Luckily there are lots of options when it comes to buying a new AM5 motherboard and I spent plenty of research time understanding features, vendor “state of updates” and best fit for my needs. This model came out on top mainly due to the way it allocates the cpu lanes a bit differently to others – using extra PCI slots doesnt take away the cpu lanes for drives but just usb instead. Also i only typically upgrade my PC every 10 years so wanted to spend extra to future-proof myself. Yes would have been nice to have usb4 but on balance i doubt i will use a usb4 external drive in the future, especially as this comes with more than normal ssd slots and i could always get a usb4 pci card if needed. The setup and bios are very easy and hardware feels very solid and sturdy. Nice positioning of ports and looks cool/shiny. Overall I’m a happy dragon!

I was sceptical at the start and did a ton of research what with the slightly mixed reviews listed here.

For anyone looking for an AM5 mobo, please update the bios (I did mine via flash), and that saves a lot of time for the system to learn the memory. Everything else works wonderfully!

Purchased this to go with a 7900x and 2x16gb corsair 6000mhz ram.

Board is very well built and handles the chip and ram without any issues.

As with all x670e boards this is a high price but looks to be future proof given the decent VRMs (although I don’t have a crystal ball).

Check the memory compatibility first on MSI website but if it’s AMD Expo compatible you should be fine.

Be mindful of novice reviews on here as building a pc yourself does take an element of skill.

Personally I’ve had no issues at all with the bios being fine and all ports / sockets working.

    Great board!
