I’m a Neewer fan and have a LOT of their gear (most of my gear, to be honest). This lens fits over another lens, which I missed when I first bought it. But, when I dug out my lens adapters, I found this fits fine. A great way to get started with macro/wide angle and not have to invest in a pricey lens first.

This lens is a terrific value. A combination of Pan, Macro, and filter. It fits perfectly on my Canon EOS R-10.
The quality is excellent. The performance equal, all adding up to a really great value.
Be sure to check carefully your model of EOS camera before ordering.

I have to say that it was entirely gratifying to order something and have it fit perfectly and perform exactly as it was described. (See my images showing lens with filter attached to my Canon EOS R-10)

No less than five stars for this star performer from NEEWER.
If you want decent quality at a very modest price then I believe you will really like this lens.

    TWO-N-ONE =DOUBLE THE VALUE

This 2 in 1 Wide Angle & Macro Lens (Model No. LS-20) arrives in a nice looking, Neewer branded, cardboard box, that would be more than acceptable should you be wishing to give it as a gift. Inside the box is the lens (with lens caps), a cleaning cloth, a protective bag, and instructions.

The build quality of the lens is excellent and it has a good finish throughout.

The lens consists of two parts and is designed to be used in conjunction with your existing lens. When both parts are used together it creates a wide angle lens adapter, or alternatively you can just use the macro section as a macro lens adapter. When attached to your lens it does not add that much extra length or weight to your existing setup.

The wide angle lens is the equivalent of a 18mm ultra-wide angle lens, offering an 84 field of view (24mm on an APS-C sensor). Depending on what lens you attach it to, it is said to increase your lens’ field of view by 0.43 – 0.64x. The macro lens is said to magnify the image by 1 – 1.4x, depending on the magnification of your lens.

Although stated for use on the Canon EOS Kiss M2, EOS RP and EOS R10 this lens can be used on a variety of different cameras. It has a 49mm diameter thread, so if your lens has a different diameter, you simply attach it using separate step-up/step-down ring adapter.

Image quality is very good. Whilst it is not up to the level of a good dedicated wide angle or macro lens, it is still perfectly acceptable.

In conclusion, this a very well made wide angle/macro adapter. For those on a budget, it makes a good alternative to having to fork out on a dedicated lens. And for those looking to get into macro and/or wide angle photography, it makes for a good, low cost, starting point.

This is a 49mm mount screw-on wide angle adapter. This fits a regular camera lens and converts a standard lens to wide angle and a wide angle lens to ultra wide angle, etc. Optically, it works well, with seemingly good optical quality. Recommended for the enthusiast and provides a useful innovation for occasional use.

The best attachment you can buy for your camera. It offers you both wide and macro lens. This product has a lot of features. You can get a wide angle shot without stepping back an inch. The macro lens works perfectly . I found no loss in clarity . You can explore lots of angles and take different types of photographs. Definitely worth It .

I honestly chose this product as my first entry into ultrawide/macro photography. And for me, getting a prime lens wasn’t an option, but being able to adapt my e-lens to take macro shots with decent results out of the gate made this a better experience dipping my toes in. While some may look at the cost and think it’s astronomical, I would say for an amateur this is a good starting point.

Other more experienced reviewers here can give you the rundown the technical and performance aspects. The areas I can comment on are the build quality which is great, fit and finish are premium feeling, the included carry bag and lens covers are durable though I only got the simple rubber caps, not the plastic cover with squeeze release. Threads aren’t crunchy, but you should use some care when threading them on, this thing is hefty, and it’s not just the glass. I think it may be a steel body which won’t play nice with the threads on your lens if you’re not paying attention.

I’m not a huge fan of the way the wide-angle’s fish eye distortion presents itself in every photo, but I will chock that up to inexperience. As for the macro lens it’s bokeh is fun to play with. Again at this price point, it’s a great way to gain experience without going into debt.

It has heft, results are nice though.

This is a cracking little wide angle/macro lens system.
As a keen photographer for many years, I’ve used a fair few lenses; some good, some bad. I was immediately impressed with the build and optic quality of this Neewer lens. It’s a fairly substantial piece of glass, but it’s compact and doesn’t add too much weight to your lens. I found no defects or unwanted glare or distortion in the optics. Crystal clear and well ground. Nicely machined threads on the aluminium lens surrounds makes separating the two elements quick and easy, and it makes the lens really adaptable.

I tested it on my Sony A58 18-55 kit lens, which required the use of a 55-49 step down ring. Resulting images, from both the wide angle and macro were bright, colourful and sharp. Minimal additional chromatic aberration, which is good as cheaper lenses can often be severely let down by that. On the full wide angle side, you can achieve a virtual fisheye effect, which can be fun. At longer focal lengths, the lens gives a good looking wide angle. I really like the bokeh the lens produces too.
The macro lens element is equally as impressive. I was able to focus down to about 2 cm from the end of the lens. It handles depth of field and focus really well. The image will dull slightly, but that’s common with macro lenses due to the reduced light reaching the sensor. It can be easily compensated for with aperture and ISO control or post processing.

It really is hard to pick fault with this lens system. Given the price and its quality, it’s an absolute steal. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great lens for the money.

Okay, first of all, at full price this is a $50 option for a wider lens and a macro option. That is pretty affordable plus it means that this lens isn’t going to be a perfect optic like a $2,000 wide angle or macro. With that out of the way, let me say that I am using this set on the Leica Q and Q2, and probably the Q3 when I buy it later this year or next. The lens of the Q has the 49mm filter thread and I have attached some shady optics to that thread to try and get more out of the 28mm lens. I have to say, out of the Nikon and Sony extenders and converters I’ve tried this Neewer is the best one in terms of size and quality of optics, given the price. Using a lens like this is going to give you some distortion along the edges of the frame and it does but cropping it in to maybe 20mm in post processing seems to be okay. I didn’t notice a color shift in my test this week but it has been rainy here this week so not able to test the bright colors we usually get here in the islands. Lastly, it didn’t seem to mess with the autofocus, that seemed just fine. Very interesting that you need both the macro lens and the wide angle to get the 18mm, I thought you needed to mount only one. Lastly, it is not too heavy, so it is convenient to carry around while travelling or hiking which is when I usually need something so wide. Neewer interestingly lists camera systems this lens set is “compatible” with, see picture for listed systems. But it also fit on my 49mm Leica system, so might be worth a shot?

I have been really interested in photography and I’ve been trying to get into it. However, as a beginner considering that I don’t really know much about photography it’s really expensive to actually good photography products. So it’s been really hard to find anything to work with as a beginner that doesn’t cost you your entire fortune but still has quality to offer. this was definitely the product that I was looking for . It fit Within my budget perfectly and as much as I’m aware and with my minimum understanding of photography.
The photos are looking good and it’s really easy to use. I would highly recommend us, especially if you’re a beginner like me photography equipment can be really really expensive and this is definitely the alternative to consider.

I put this on my Canon R-10 and it worked perfectly. The wide angle shots look good and it’s easy to convert to macro. Just unscrew the wide angle lens.

The macro shots that I took look a little soft on the edges but I think it’s because I neglected to take my UV filter off before screwing this on. I’ll experiment more.

I like how small and lightweight this is. It’s like adding two more lenses to my camera kit without actually purchasing two more lenses. I highly recommend it.

I don’t really have any negatives about this lens. For its price it’s a good value.

Exploring photography, I felt the longing for something that could extend my camera’s perspective. This lens provided just that – a wider field of view that breathes life into my landscapes, cityscapes, and even group shots. It’s like seeing the world through a much broader lens.
Moreover, the macro function became an unexpectedly beloved feature. From capturing the intricate pattern on a butterfly wing to documenting the delicate veins of a leaf, this lens enables me to unveil a world hidden in plain sight. It’s so simple to convert from wide-angle to macro, a swift twist and it’s done.
The image quality? Stellar. Images are crisp, and the colours true-to-life. That speaks volumes about the level of craftsmanship behind these optics. The lens itself is light and compact, adding no significant weight to my gear. The threading was a perfect fit for my camera, a reassuring touch indeed.

This is great for those who dont have the budget to spend on actual wide lens. I havent used/needed the macro feature. But it’s a nice touch to have.

This lens features a wide angle and macro lens with 18 mm focal length.

The wide-angle lens has an 84-degree field of view, which is equivalent to a 16mm focal length in 35mm format for an APS-C sensor or lens interchangeable micro 4/3 sensor. This means you can capture more of the scene without having to step back, which is ideal for landscapes or architectural photography.

The macro lens, on the other hand, allows you to magnify your subjects by up to 1.4 times based on the magnification ratio of your lens. Also, it allows for instant conversion from a wide-angle lens to a macro lens by simply removing the wide-angle lens in a counterclockwise direction.

But what sets the lens apart from other lenses on the market is the construction. It is built with two groups of two-element HD optical corrective glasses, coupled with multi-layers of nanocoatings to reduce reflection and glare. This results in crystal clear images with natural colours. Also, the anodized aluminium lens frame is CNC machined with accurate threads to ensure seamless mounting, lightweight, and durability.

All in all, it is an excellent option if you’re looking for lenses that are versatile and have good quality.

This lens works perfectly with my camera and allows me to take new and interest in shots.

The lens comes in a small box that is packaged quite nicely, there are covers over the delicate parts of the lens to prevent them from getting scratched also.

The lenses 2 in 1 and acts as a macro and wide lens. It’s so interesting to be able to get such large shots or even super close at ones that are really detailed. It has allowed me to explore a new range of photography that my camera could not do on its own.

I’m super excited to see what other shops I can get with this in the future whilst travelling.

This is a really neat idea, basically, the thread on the rear is 49mm so you mount it to any of your lenses with a 49mm thread and it acts as a wide angle and macro lens, image quality is great so the optical glass is working well, it has not introduced flare like some do on wide angle shots and overall I cannot say a bad word about it, really neat add on that saves buying a dedicated wide or macro lens, certainly worth a try beforehand before spending 4 figures on a dedicated lens.
