I bought this to replace the one I’ve had for 24 months. It’s like a CSI crime scene. I could have likely cleaned it up but it’s so effective it’s grim. Every kitchen should have one for hygiene of work surfaces. It’s particularly good as I can turn it off to save bees. We need bees do your bit.
After i started an annihilation war agajnst the flies coming in my flat i got 3 diferent fly swatters as my weapons. But still wasn’t able to kill all , especially the little one.
Then i bought this product. It’s agamechanger. Just plug it in, switch it on and it do all the job itself. Occasionally i hear it zapping flies . Highly recommended it to everyone.
Is is powered by a usb cable, which means you can easily connect it to a power source without worrying about running out battery. The uv light source can attract flying insects, overall this product seems to be a very useful pest control tool.
This is easy to use/mount. We keep it plugged into either a plug or a usb wall socket and this is fine. Doesn’t seem to affect our electricity greatly (checked smart meter). It catches the tiny fruit flies no problem, but it’s yet too catch a normal large house fly, which is annoying at they seem to have gone a bit wild this summer.

I have been using this bug zapper for many years. It is lightweight, easy to use and easy to clean and safe. It kills all of the bugs, mosquitos, flies and insects. It keeps my kitchen clean all the time.

Used it on a camping trip, so only used at night time and the light is bright enough to attract flies, i had it placed next to a window and i could hear bugs flying into the widow all night, any any mosquitos inside the caravan where quickly zapped and killed.
Best thing about this is that it is USB powered, and it only draws 1.8W of power which mean on my Anker 737 Powerbank this device will run over 31 Hours continuously
It has a nice little plastic removable tray, so any dead insects drop from the electric grill straight down to easily be disposed of.
I like how portable this fly zapper is, you can carry it next to your picnic table, plug it into a power bank and wait for the satisfying zap/bang noise. For the big fly/wasp it may take a few zap before it is eliminated, unless they fly away and if they stay and hoover around eventually they will meet the swift end.
We find that having it next to some baits and a fan works even better as the UV light is not enough of a lure in bright sun shine etc. When we are using it in the kitchen we defiantly get a lot more zap/bang when the lights are off etc.
This will not zap the really tiny midgets but even mosquito won’t escape the gate of high voltage gate. The base and the removable tray is made of plastic, easy to toss out the remains of the unwanted guests.
I use this in the kitchen at home, and it is incredibly effective. Flys are quickly attracted to the UV, and it gives a very powerful shock! The tray to catch the flies is really handy, and theres always more in there than I’d have guessed.
One tip- keep it away from windows or you’ll be attracting more in!
I’m so glad that I bought this just in time!! My kids won’t stop going into the garden and coming back inside again and again and the amount of flies they bring in was terrible, now i put this up in the garden door and so relieved from this problem, i like that we can hang it so that it’s not approachable for kids. Overall good product for the value!
You can really tell when this contacts a fly, the zap is insane! Perfect for what I needed as compact but powerful.
Worth noting this does not come with a plug, just a usb cable. This was fine for me as I have usb sockets in my kitchen plugs as standard but not everyone will. This is NOT rechargeable and needs to be plugged in to use.
Looks small little good product, packaged well and delivered in time.

Must have! We live at lake side and flies are normally the problem especially this time of the year. We got no flies inside the room at all since we got this insect killer. It’s quite and powerful. Doing it’s job. Recommended!
The light attracts the flies and mosquitoes well. We noticed if it’s hanged on well it is more effective . Easy to install as well as it has USB charging . Not only it does the job it looks good as well.
Really easy to use. Plug in the usb cable into a plug and turn on. Purchased this to replace an old one I used to have that stopped working. It’s not to bulky or heavy.
We have a lot of fly’s and the seasons just starting, this has Duvall started to tame the issue! Decent price compared to the cheaper small plastic options I see on Amazon! So very happy
