A nice simple way to connect a laptop or android device to an HDMI lead.. It may well work on the latest iPhone or iPad but I have not had chance to try. But it’s a nice easy to use compact wire that makes easy connection to monitors or TVs.
I used this to connect both my iPad Pro and USB-C laptop to a 4K TV.
In the case of laptop, I could mirror the screen or extend the desktop to 4K res. This worked well for 4k videos on my TV.
In the case of iPad Pro, I could mirror the screen on the TV.
At 10 I think it’s a very good price, and happy to recommend.
I got this for my Windows Surface laptop to connect to a monitor via HDMI.
The laptop has only one each USB C and USB A so I have been using a hub connected to the USB C and HDMI from there, which works fine. I use the USB A for a dongle for my wireless keyboard and mouse so the additional hub ports are basically wasted and there’s a big chunky slab sitting there annoying me.
This went straight into the USB C and into my monitor with no need fir a hub, no driver, no set up just straight plug and play.
Much more convenient not having to use additional unnecessary hardware and very reasonably priced too.
If your phone supports HDMI Alt mode this is a well priced, good quality cable. It works really well with my partners phone, no lag, no interference and a good signal. Sadly not all USB-C phones are created equal and it didn’t work with mine so its worth checking your phone specs before purchasing.
I got this HDMI to USB C cable to attach to my mini projector. This was quite easy to connect from my projector to my phone. The cable itself is 1.8 metre long so it’s plenty and it gives you a bit of flexibility around where and how you plug it. You can use it for a number of different things.
I am quite pleased with the quality.
It is priced at 9.99 which I think is quite reasonably priced considering the length of the cable and the fact that it has a gold plated a core which helps in ensuring that the data is transferred at high speed.
I am quite pleased with it.
This USB-C to HDMI cable comes coiled in a box, secured with two cable ties. The packaging and cable are identical to another cable I got recently, the only difference is the Oliveria branding. This suggests that it’s a fairly generic cable.
Build quality is pretty good, again identical to my other cable. The connectors are gold plated and have metal housing, with good bend protection at the joins onto the cord, more solid at the USB-C end (the HDMI end just has a rubber ring). The cord is just a little thicker than my mouse cable but I wouldn’t say it was especially thick. It isn’t nylon braided but it is relatively flexible and at 1.8 metres is a good length for connecting a monitor to a laptop.
The cable performs just as well as my other USB-C to HDMI cable. I have used the cable to connect my phone to my TV and my monitor to my laptop and it’s worked perfectly in both setups. There’s no interference or lag and connections are firm and stable at both ends. Overall I’m very happy with this cable.
I spend a lot of time away from home. I like to take the Steam Deck with me to keep me occupied in my hotel room, and not the bar. I am getting on, though, so keep playing hunched over a small screen isn’t the best for my posture. So, I invested in a portable monitor (15.6″ – a much better screen to play on) and an Xbox controller to setup my away from home rig. This cable simply connects the Deck to the monitor and then I use the wireless pad to play on whilst say upright in a chair.
My eyes and my back continue to thank me for the all-round salvation of this simple cable. 100% recommended.

This appears to be a very good HDMI cable and is a very reasonable price.
Although I’ve plugged this into my laptop/TV I think my laptop is actually too old for this technology even though the tv is new they are not talking to each other. Time flies, you think you have a nice newish laptop that can use all the latest tech when in fact ‘new’ turns out to be anything but! My error, there’s nothing wrong with the cable and I’m very happy with the quality.
It will not go to waste as I shall pass this on to the neighbour who is a lot more tech savvy and has all the latest gear, I’m sure he will be able to make use of it.
