Looks great, lightly padded and waterproof. Will keep water, dirt and fur off car seats. Has good safety aspect as keeps dogs even more secure. Really like the mesh window for the airflow and can see my pooch, the clips at the tops of the closures to take the pressure from the zips. The bowl and the seat clip are a very nice extra. Wish I had bought this years ago! Thank you
This was just what I was looking for, great for the back seat. It is ideal as my dog is blind and it stops her from falling off the seat.
Well made and great value for the money
Good fit, loads of fixings to adjust to right size and covers the seats well. Handy pocket for essentials and drop down sides to stop dog jumping as soon as door open. Still needs a blanket or something similar on bottom as dog found it a bit slippy to get settled on whilst moving. Could do with opening for seatbelt fastener as have to move the cover to let someone sit in the back.
Was really happy with this hammock, has 2 pockets to put leads etc, the ends that come up are really handy but had to take the straps off what give the extra support to the ends as its dangerous for my dog he has a habit of standing at the window and kept getting tangles and trapped with the straps, apart from that id recommend this, and people saying theyre for small cars not true we have a big vauxhall Crossland and it fits perfectly
I have a short hair dog who sheds so much and he’s know to have the odd leak. My other dog gets car sick at times but this seat cover is the best one I have bought. It can be hammocked to keep them totally safe. Waterproof vomit proof and the added accessories were a god send
Easy to put together, the fit is a little bit small for large car, the straps are not long enough. Easy to wipe away dirt from muddy paws and any sickness so it’s very useful to protect the seats from paw nail scratches. It fantastic when going swimming in a river, after swim the back seat not soak.
There’s more than enough space in the hammock for a dog to move, turn around and lie down. Main thing is the quality of the fabric which is super. Very nice looking too which. Would recommend.
Pretty good, stops our dog from trying to jump off the seat whilst clipped in, and stops her from trying to jump into the front, again which usually results in her just falling off the seat because she’s clipped in.
Overall happy with the quality and it’s easy to set up. Only criticism is that the zips are absolute rubbish and a real faff to thread the start when doing them up. Not sure how well they will last.
I drive a Nissan juke, new model. The fit is a little bit small , but that’s only down to the fact that l think the adjustable straps are not long enough. Definitely a design floor, which is a shame because the actual product is very good. I kept mine though because l’d had my seats cleaned. My dog loves being cocooned in the back but l only keep one side zipped up and we access from one side. Also, l think the pieces which push into the rear seats to anchor them in, need to be slightly longer. Overall a good quality cover for the price and non-slip.
Easy to put together (4 rods through slots to add sturdiness and 4 zips to sides). Easy to wipe away dirt from muddy paws. My dog suffers with car sickness so it’s very useful to protect the seats. durable enough to survive muddy walks, and it washes brilliantly at 30c, with it drying in a few hours when hun up over a clothes airer. It also can be fantastic in the summer when going swimming in a river and after swim kids could sit on the zipped down side of the back seat and not soak the seats!
Have recommended this to a number of friends, far easier to use than having a crate in the car. I have a separate seat belt adapter which clicks into one of the rear seat belts and the lead function attaches to the D-ring on the back of my dog’s harness to keep her secured. There’s more than enough space in the hammock for a big dog to move, turn around and lie down. It also protects seats from paw nail scratches.
Would recommend to all dog lovers.
I purchased this as my old hammock that lasted two and a half very large doggy lifetimes has finally died!
GOOD BITS.. I drive a Peugeot 205SW so I measured up first. Most hammocks are made for bigger back seats than mine. This one fitted great. I like the door ends coming up and the extra straps to secure from grab handles in car, they definitely helped to stop doggo making an unplanned exit! I love the pockets for leads, poo bags ect, good sizes and easy to access without furbaby escaping. The springy securing lead is nice too. The expanding water bowl is nice but on the small side at 13cm diameter. All essential for your pooch. It’s waterproof and easy to wipe down/clean. All in all great for a small or medium sized dog. It all anchors in well and looks really smart.
NOT SO GOOD BITS… The listing says Heavy Duty but I have an Akita, he is 19mts so not fully expanded (if you know you know!). The fabric is quite slippy so even though the hammock anchors well, Kenji’s size and weight means he slips about way more than he did in my old hammock. The old one was more a waterproof canvas where as this is more shiny tent fabric like for the top layer. The openings for the seatbelt clips do not aline (my fingers are on the clips in the photo) BUT I didn’t actually check that measurement. It’s not far out but far enough to maybe tear should I have to break hard and Kenji slides. Kenji’s big fat Akita snoz is never going to fit in to that water bowl :’)).. It’s and added bonus item so doesn’t really matter. The lead is OK, just about long enough for him but an extra inch or so would be better, that said, it does help restrict him shoving his head out the window around town… He does love the wind in his face does my boy lol.
OVERALL… I think this would be fabulous for your average pet labrador or spaniel or a lighter weight large dog. But if you too own a bigger ass heavy pooch like me then maybe look for something less slipy and stronger.
I’m not convinced this will last a long time with my (currently 45kg) big lad but only time will tell.
