Previous Philips trimmer needed replacing and, after checking local stores, found that this on Amazon was approximately 10 less expensive, so purchase was a no brainier really. Trimmer lightweight and compact, charging easy – but wish they would change to USBC to match other products.

Trims exactly as you want with the plastic guide. Very easy to use and charge lasts a good week or more for me. Best thing about this trimmer is that you do not have to swap heads for different levels of trim, just adjust from the main body making it much simpler to use.

My husband absolutely loves his new shaver. It’s easy to clean, has one attachment with different lengths so you don’t need to keep clipping on new guards like other shavers. It’s not noisy and sleek. He’s noticed an improvement in the performance of this shaver. It doesn’t pull his hair. In fact, I’ve noticed he’s able to shave a lot quicker than with his old one. Battery life is also great. He hardly charges the thing!
Definitely recommend.

Great beard trimmer. The multiple length options are extremely handy and it is so easy to use. Does take a long period to charge but after that, you cannot fault it.

No finesse with it at all. Large compared to others. The plastic feels cheap. Poor colour scheme. Very noisy in use – makes a heck of a racket. The charging light is on the charger, and it indicates nothing but the fact that the charger is connected up and switched on – you have to look in the instructions for how long to charge the device. There’s no storage case provided.
Over all it feels “tinny”, but it does work OK.

I finally relented & purchased this to replace a stubble trimmer I had used for something like 15 years. The battery was shot & I had replaced the blade cover once already, so it was about time.
Good:
– Great value for the price I paid
– Functionally the same as what I previously owned, which saw me well
– Battery life is hugely better than my old trimmer (to be expected)
– Decent quality
Not so good
– It is fairly easy to knock the trim length wheel when in use. Luckily doesn’t happen too often
– There is no charging LED (or if there it, mine does not work), so difficult to know when charged

We bought these to keep my dad’s beard in check.
These clippers are great. They hold their charge for ages.
Nice and easy to grip. And they run nicely across the skin, no awkward angles.

My favourite thing about this product is the fact that you adjust the blade for a shorter or longer trim. Most other models you have 10 different pieces of plastic for different lengths, this one is nice and simple and works great.

4.5 stars. I use it only once a week and I have not charged it for a few weeks now. It is very powerful but a little noisier than I would hav3 preferred. Still a quality product.

I needed a beard trimmer to replace my old one, this one came at a reduced price and I have to say it is pretty good at trimming!
No extras, very basic but no frills and the charge lasts ages, it does for me!!

This is very good, the battery life on Phillips products are second to none.
I am also using it to trim my head hair, even though the comb attachment isn’t supposed to be for that purpose.
I should point out though, that the adjustable comb goes from 10mm down to 0.5mm. which may be too short for some peoples head hair.

I’ve been using this for 6 months and very pleased with it. Adjusts in 1mm settings from 1 to 10mm, or you can remove the guard altogether. Seems to cut very effectively, could probably use for a full haircut (if you like it short!).

So I’ve gone from a Phillip’s all singing and dancing hair and beard trimmer (broke after 5 or so years of use) to this as I no longer am a cheap skate getting my hair cut at home!

Its…fine. Not great, not bad….just middle of the road really.

Does the job but I dont feel it does anything well….nor badly.

So yeah – it works!

Having been a beard person for many years I have owned a number of trimmers from other supposedly top manufacturers. Whilst they have all proved workable I have been somewhat disappointed by them all, until this….. It works exactly how I’d hoped the others would, but never did. It cuts quickly, neatly and efficiently. No going over straggly bits again and again to get them all trimmed uniformly. It perform like a good lawn mower going through long grass. Make sure you have selected the right cut length as once you show it your beard , it is cut, no second chances! Great machine.

Absolutely great clippers, I’ve tried loads of different brands and they all have the same issue, the battery doesn’t last long enough, you get a few trims out of them and they are dead, these ones LAST A WEEK! Honestly I use them daily and the time in-between charges is excellent, the blade area is small enough to shape awkward areas and the clipping length guides are awesome, they are textured so even with wet hands you can grip. A total game changer !!

Pretty good, head cuts well from 0.5mm. Day to day you find yourself styling due to the length rotator tweaking your groom.

Cleaning is a pain due to the no liquid requirementsof the shaver, Yet a cheeky spash to clean does no harm.

Only issue is its a bit sharp. You do feel the guard against your face, chest etc, Hard plastic. Needs must.

I bought this as the plastic guard, which sets the length of the cut, broke on my previous model. It’s a bit flimsy and is a bit of a design flaw imho. The new model feels much less heavy duty and very light and plasticky. It works fine however, just don’t pull the guard off too heavy handedly to clean it as the arms easily snap.

I got this for around 16 when on sale so this review is based on that price point.

Its light and easy to use, the trim length adjusts on a wheel and to clean the plastic trim plate just pulls out. It does what it says on the tin and ive had no issues with good beard trimming

The battery – As I said its light, really light compared to my old ones and this is the smaller battery you will complete 3-4 trims without an issue. If you have to shave every day or two I wouldnt suggest getting this trimmer. A better battery trimmer would be worth going for but in terms of cut it hits the spo
