I love this shaver. Value for money and I don’t have to charge it over and over. Cuts very close to the skin and doesn’t hurt either. Slightly noisy but it’s expected.
My son has used this for 9 months, says its a great shaver. He did lots of research before letting me know to buy this one! It works very well. And is the size of a normal shaver. The battery lasts for quite awhile. He always takes this abroad with him several times a year.
I needed to write this review because this is so good.
I bought it a few months ago and I didn’t use it a lot but today I used it in my 2 months old baby and let me tell you I’m speechless.
The noise maybe is too loud for a baby but in somehow is good and they can get used to it.
I used it first with the comb but was too much hair so I removed the comb and I kept only the bladeno cuts, no irritation, no pain.
The fact you can use it in dry is marvellous.

I ordered this being incredulous at the number of positive reviews.
I’m an old fashioned double edged razor, bristle brush and sandalwood soap in a tub shaver. After a bath/shower, I love the hot cloth on the face and the indulgent lathering and the “baby’s bottom” feel and smell of the flawless shave I get.
It’s unbeatable.
Over the years I’ve tried a few electric shavers and hated the final roughness and the sting.
If travelling I use a disposable blade razor and foam. It’s OK.
But there are times when it’s clear to all you need a shave but you can’t be arsed as you’re just popping out to the shop etc. I have a goatee and, if I’m in a rush, I’ve found myself using my dry razor to trim back the cheekline and neckline to look as if I’m growing a full one, but that stings too when dry.
So. I cynically ordered this gadget after reading reviews thinking “I can always send it back” (and that I’d probably have to).
Got it at 15.30.
Last shaved two days ago.
Switched it on 16.00 (fully charged from box!) thinking “This is gonna sting”.
Well, it’s not going back!
I got a pleasant, acceptable, non-sting shave all over, trimmed close to my goatee.
It’s never going to replace my “baby’s bottom” shave but its a very good silver medal winner and will be brilliant for trips and holidays.
Some reviewers feel the replacements are “expensive” but I feel the +’s outweigh that.
I just have to ensure my wife doesn’t discover it when she next examines her legs!
Absolutely a breeze !!! I used on all ladies body parts that grows hair . AMAZING BRING OUT ONE FOR WOMEN JUST DIFFERENT COLOUR . HIDE MINE INCASE MY TEENAGERS DO SECRET SWOP . PLUS GREAT FOR ANY YOUNG MAN LEARNING TO SHAVE . WET OR DRY .
I now have three of these, not necessarily because I needed three, but because the shaver was on a deal, which meant it was cheaper to buy the shaver with blades rather than just buying spare blades. absolute madness. But it is an excellent shaver, battery lasts a long time, easy to use no fussing around with water/soap etc, and very handy when you are away etc. Recommend, and keep an eye out for deals
I bought the product recently. I opened bag and there was no soft bag for traveling, also there is no extra orginal razor like the decriptions says. I have not tried product yet. Prices is depending on what it has extra with it and 2 thing are already missing in the box. Not what i expected
I have used OneBlade for a number of years and am incredibly pleased with the quality of the shave it gives.
I purchased this replacement as I kept breaking the plastic guards on the older style heads, luckily this is no longer an issue due to the adjustable head provided. The guard head will offer a cut length from 5mm to 1mm.
The unit its self is perfect in size, it has a nice grip and design which offers great dexterity when shaving those more hard to reach areas.
The head with no guard protection offers a superb cut that is almost comparable in length to clean shaving. It cuts effortlessly with no catching, knicking or pulling. There’s no irritation after shaving that you would expect to have with such a low level cut.
This upgrades unit comes with a handy USB style charger, moving away from the outdated shaving style plug of earlier models. This is really handy for charging when on the go and stay away from home.

I use this product for all of my shaving, face and body with the two provided blades. The battery life is great and the design is brilliant too. The product feels of a high quality and is very efficient.
A must have for men! Couldn’t recommend a better electric razor.
I’ll start with the negatives. Firstly, like almost all the currently available shavers, this has a sealed-in, non-replaceable lithium battery which will only last a few years before it has to be thrown away (and driven to a recycling centre). It can’t be used while plugged in. Secondly, the replacement heads are expensive. These are the reasons why I’ve knocked off one star. Also, I hadn’t taken into account that unlike other shavers the hair does not collect inside, so I have to use it over a sink and shower after using it. This does make it easier to clean, by rinsing it under a tap, but I live in a hard-water area so it will probably get limescale stains.
Now to the positives. This is the best shaver I’ve ever used. I can get up close to my goatee beard so it needs less trimming back (I have a separate beard trimmer, so I haven’t tried the attachment which came with the OneBlade). I hardly have to press at all, even on my neck, which was always a struggle with other shavers. It’s generally much more pleasant to use. Finally, it gives a noticeably closer shave (my partner commented on it), so I can shave on alternate days instead of every morning.
I hope it’s a success so it doesn’t get discontinued by the time the battery dies.
EDIT I’ve had to remove another star. After almost two months of use the battery suddenly died, without warning, in the middle of a shave. I had been expecting a light to come on as a warning, but the instruction leaflet is incomprehensible and the online FAQs don’t seem to cover this model. I put it on charge; a green light came on, and stayed on; there was no indication of a full charge either, even though I left it on charge for considerable longer than the specified 8 hours.
EDIT 2 I’ve put it back up to 4 stars because after 6 months (using it every other day, which is all I need) the first blade is still going strong. I charge it on the first of every month just to be on the safe side.
I have always been impressed with the Phillips one blade so I decided to buy this as a spare, it’s by far the best on the market and does not cut your skin even though it cuts close, a very sturdy product and the battery life is excellent.
Great piece of kit which I use regularly. Charges easily and the battery lasts seemingly forever on a full charge. Blades are sharp, precise and last quite a while before goi g dull which makes a nice change. Even cuts through my thicker bits with ease 🙂
Although I like the product very much find it really easy to use. I also find that the head comes off too easily to the point where, after less than a week I lost the head off timer mine had to spend 30 to buy three new ones.
Without doubt the best electric shave I have ever had. This thing works. Simple as that. Shaves so close it’s just like an open razor without the cuts and nicks and takes 30 seconds. If you like a wee bit of stubble you can use the length setter easily. Don’t hesitate to buy this, you’ll wonder what you did without it.
already have one but wanted another for travel, so purchased a few days ago when on sale fir 20.
considering it comes with a second blade plus one adjustable trimmer (as opposed to several fixed sizes like my first one) and a travel pouch, this was an absolute bargain.
I only use for facial hair, so cannot comment on other areas, but for what I use it for, this is the best yet.
Great beard trimmer for the short bearded people very long battery life on one charge, only disadvantage I see is you can’t properly trim the length of your beard with the clippers provided

Wanted a quick way to get a close head shave as using a razor left me with irritation.
This works great! Easy to use and zero irritation and very close shave (about the same as one day after a razor shave)

The Oneblade comes with 2 blades, a USB charger, a trimmer head, a cover and a small bag which could be used for keeping everything in for storage or travel.
Have use it for shaving and trimming. Trimming is good, useful for round the ears, sideburns and neck (I have no beard).
If you are a clean faced wet blade user expecting this to be anything like as effective as your current manual razer, you will be disappointed. But it will be good as a travel shaver or for a quick shave when you’re in a rush.
It is good that it can be used wet or dry.
Overall good, better than my old electric travel razer but won’t be throwing my manual blade wet razer in the bin yet!
Very light and small device, working fine not sure for how long it will last , trmera is not the best it’s moving around. This more like razor then trimmer in my opinio
My teenage son uses this, he doesn’t have a lot of facial hair so this is just for keeping his upper lip and the sides of his face hair-free. I think if he had more or thicker hair this might not be the best tool but it is very easy to use and safer and cleaner than a razor with foam/water etc. It holds a charge really well and he says its comfortable to hold. My only gripe is that it doesn’t come with a case or stand and for the price I feel it should.
This works well, my first shave with it felt like I had wet shaved with a razor. Been using it for a few weeks now and it is nice and easy to use. Yet to need to change the head but I don’t shave daily.
Over this time, I’ve used it to edge a rather splendid beard, daily clean shaven for work, and these days, keeping the overall facial fuzz down to a dull roar using the beard combs (5mm most of the time, though the 3mm one gives an excellent deliberate stubble that’s most scratchy indeed).
It’s also done the duties of removing several eyebrows from my peers, forsaken in wagers better not made, and been used against me to remove a moustache that in hindsight should not have been there in first place.
The way the blade works makes it easy to cut through both long and short stubble, and gives one of the best dry shaves I’ve had, certainly at speed. The unit is light, and the blade edged on both sides, with little around it. This makes it very easy to get the positioning right and avoid accidental slips (and catastrophic results…), which I cannot say for some other razors of this type that are somewhat more unwieldy.
Joking aside, I do have sensitive skin and stopped wet-shaving daily for this reason. This product does not give as close a shave as a proper wet shave, but is the closest to it that I’ve gotten in a way that doesn’t irritate my skin, and unless one is rubbing ones face against the grain, is generally imperceptible. For those in a service background, this isn’t one you can get away with for 2 days unless feeling particularly confident, with a stubble normally visible the next morning.
I travel frequently for work, and when I was shaving daily, I would normally be happy chancing it without the charger for a 4~5 day trip. At one stage, I had the model above this one (4 beard combs included) which does include an upgraded Lithium Ion (Versus the NiMh in this version) battery, which I recall being slightly better for longevity, but the shaving experience was identical.
My one singular complaint is the mechanical durability of the blades. One should really avoid throwing this loose into a washkit. The mechanism that allows the head to rotate is fragile, and doesn’t handle impacts well. To protect against this, Phillips include a little plastic head cover, but I lost that quickly. Instead, I just pop the head off and place it in the washkit separately, and have a new blade (individually packaged) that also lives there just in case.
In summary, it’s a cracking razor and I’ve not found one as good for the price. Make sure to get the bundles like this one with the extra blades included, and I’ve seen these going on very low prices on most of the Amazon sales, so worth keeping an eye out (even just for the blades).
