These labels are very useful for new plants, seedlings and vetgatable rows. They number 150 and come with a black marker pen and a token piece of string. Ok its a bit short but its a nice added extra. The black ink really stands out on the pink and even with recent bad weather none ave faded to date.
These are much more flexible labels than the ones I usually buy but they do the business. They come with a double sided pen which I have tried and works well along with a length of twine which can be used to tie the labels to plants if you wish. This might be useful for larger plants and shrubs. The labels already have a hole so that they can be used in this way. I prefer to pop the labels directly into my seed trays/pots and they are strong enough to stay in place. I love the pink colour as they are so easy to see. As a gardener I would be delighted to receive this as a gift.
These are great for making sure I know varieties, I like that I can tie them too, really handy for pots or plants with canes, so the don’t get lost with weeding (or stolen by the wildlife).
Both the labels and the pens seem to hold up well to the summer weather, it will be intriguing to see what the winter does to them
I’m a keen gardener and enjoy growing flowers and vegetables from seeds. I never seem to have enough labels so I plant up my seed trays and end up using bits of cardboard and all sorts for labelling purposes. Now I have the proper tools for the job. In the box you get 150 white PVC plastic labels, a marker pen and 10m of twine. The pen has nibs at both end, one very thin and the other a little thicker. The labels are a good thickness (but flexible) and a good size, so there is plenty of room to write on. They can be inserted directly in soil (or as each label has a little hole in the pointy end, you can can loop in some twine and use that to hang your label from the plant itself if you want to). If you look after these labels, there is no need why you can’t re-use them. All in all, a great product which is fit for purpose; these labels will definitely help you organise your greenhouse.
I was very grateful to have the labels to review as I needed to remind myself before I soon forget certain plants names I have as their own tags faded so before i forget who’s who there was these here to try , I’m so happy lovely set with the marker pen and string I can’t say enough about them as they came at the right time I needed them and just as described Thankyou (:*)
What is not to like about these bright colourful labels with a thick and thin marker pen . I love the pink easy to write on label that stands out a mile on the plants, plus you can also tie them onto plant stems as well giving them extra versatility.
Brilliant product and great value for money.
Everything you need to label your plants and seedlings.
The bonus with these is the width, they are wider than the usual plant labels I buy, which enables you to put more info on them.
They come in a handy to keep cardboard box, the pen works great and there is some string so you can tie the labels if you prefer. The labels have holes in for that purpose.
150 of them should last a while!
If you’re after a pack of labels to stick in the ground and label plants, this is a pretty good bet. They are white, no-nonsense, and have enough space to write a brief description.
I was just a little surprised that we are still making these things out of plastic, given their transient nature (i.e. most will be thrown away at the end of the season). Presumably the reason is because they are waterproof – but waterproof card is a thing, and I’d have preferred plant labels to be made out of something that will degrade with time when thrown away.
These cute little plant labels come compact and with everything you need to label your seeds.
The best things about them is they pink and bright so you can spot them easy, they also are wider than a lot of other labels so there is a generous amount of room to write on. The pen is also handy as it has two thicknesses so you can be creative with the space. fab little item that I have enjoyed using on all my new seed plantings.
A bit on the small side but they look to be good quality. Supplied magic marker peen works well (as does a pencil). Great for in the greenhouse but probably not for outside in the elements.
ideal for labelling up the seeds once planted i always forget which are which. so having these labels is brilliant, comes complete with a felt tip pen and jute string to attach to a pot if you do them that way. i just write on them and then stick them in the pot..
The packaging is super simple and exactly what you’d expect, you get the labels, some string and a pen. Everything you need to go wild and label everything up. The labels feel like a coated cardboard instead of plastic but it is plastic so will stand the test of time. The pen looks like a standard pen, however it is dual sided which is super unique and seems to work reasonably well on the labels, I have left the label in various conditions outside and the ink seems to be standing the test of time, which is good.
The labels also come with a hole (Which I can only assume is for the twine/string in the box) which gives multiple ways of securing these to anything you want to label for whatever reason. I personally have only used this to label plants at this current moment in time and this works perfectly well. I believe the only thing that could be improved is the pen quality but I feel like I am just being a little picky. I’m sure if these were a gift or for yourself you’d be happy with these as they do exactly what you’d expect them to do.
. . . get some of these for ages, so finally have.
It’s a bit late in the year for me to sow too much else now, but these will definitely come into play in the spring.
If you’re like me you probably shove a marker in to a seed tray and hope that you remember what’s what when you move the seedlings on to a bigger pot, only to realise too late that you’ve mixed up your cherry toms from your marmandes!
They feel a bit flimsy, but then they don’t exactly need to last forever and great that they come with a pen.
I have to say that I didn’t pay for these, but at 3p each they’re pretty good value if you’re looking at these vs alternatives.
These came up for review at just the right time for me as I have a couple of cuttings I’d propogated and when I went to use my plant labels, they had all disintegrated and I had to throw them away.
You get 150 labels (I haven’t counted them) a double ended marker and a length of twine all for 4.69 at time of writing, what a bargain.
The labels have a smooth and a rough side, I’m not sure which is the correct side to write on, but I opted for the rough.
They are made of thin flexible plastic that can be stuck into the soil or can be hung from a plant using the hole.
These are small plant labels – they’re not very sturdy but don’t feel like they’ll snap either. The pen is great and writes really well. If you’re after some small labels for potting on or similar, they’ll do the job; if you want them for the garden they might be a little small and flimsy. Overall they’re OK for what I want.
