My twin girls absolutely love this. Played with it loads until the play doh was all mixed up or then left it out and it had gone hard.. It’s quite educational in a way as it teaches them about brushing your teeth correctly and you can explain what sugars do the teeth so they are away of what will happen if they don’t look after them. Great toy. recommend.
My daughter loves the set but as for me the hoover is quite hard to use. The size of particles which it can collect should be quite small otherwise they will stuck so it makes playing a bit complex as the kid should check the size of the play dough pieces and then it’s not easy to open the hoover and get dough out. But the other stuff is nice and good quality.
My son absolutely loves this hoover and we’ve subsequently bought it as a 4th birthday gift for other children and they’ve loved it too. There are tools to make ‘mess’ and then the the hoover to clear up that mess. The tiny star maker is particularly messy but it’s also the one that the hoover is best at picking up.
The hoover does not pick up all of the play doh all of the time but that doesn’t impact on the enjoyment that children seem to get from it.
This is one of our favourite sets, it’s probably the most inventive in what it does – it’s regularly played with by my 2 – 6 year olds. My only negative would be that it takes up a lot of space to store and once put together the hoover no longer fits back in the box.
This has impressed me more than I expected! My little one has so much fun making these (even me when I’m asked to play) the burgers turn out really good! Was a good purchase and not too expensive.
It’s actually quite good value for money
Comes with all the colours needed for the foods that can made and my kids who love to argue- love this kit enough to negotiate playing in tandem.
Arrived on time looks a good set for a 4year old. My only negative feedback is the item wasn’t packaged in a cardboard box and the address label was stuck on the play doh box making it very sticky when removed, not good when you are giving as a present.
My granddaughter loves playdough and was over the moon with this new set. Granda and Granny have been “eating” burger delights since arrival which was really quick. Playdough gives her hours of fun at our house every week.
I have put it away for Christmas but I did have a sneaky look first.
The photo is a bit misleading. The play doh pots are very small but I am sure there enough for this toy. But you may want buy more as a back up.
It look bright, colourful, easy to use and would definitely appeal to play doh fans . Lots of pieces and accessories.
You can make play doh burgers, hot dogs, fries even onion rings with it.
I think it will be a hit with all play doh fans.
Keeping my 3 year old suitable entertained is usually a problem and having a theme such as BBQ kick starts the imagination. This theme gave the sessions purpose as we now make plates of food for mummy, daddy.. teddy etc and also allowed for us to stick with different colours for different elements of the BBQ. This delays the inevitable conclusion of ending up with mixed coloured muddy looking Play-doh which after several weeks has now become the case. Great fun while it lasted.
