About us
Since 1974, the toy system PLAYMOBIL created by Hans Beck has become a classic of children’s playrooms, with its many different play worlds – from a pirate ship to a children‘s hospital.
About 3.5 billion of the beloved play figures with the characteristic smile have been produced since then and delight children all over the world.
The unique playing principle stimulates imagination and creativity and thus promotes child development: With PLAYMOBIL, children can not only slip into many different roles, but also recreate and experience the world in miniature.
With multiple talents, these cheery figures successfully overcome all kinds of challenges – as knights or pirates in historical scenarios, as construction workers, vets and police officers today, or as secret agents in virtual worlds.
The creative people at PLAYMOBIL are constantly coming up with ideas and additions to bring long-lasting fun to children everywhere.

Lovely truck, but the sticker was on the original box, which is also slightly damaged. Should have been a birthday present, do t now want to give moths state how it looks
Possibly the oddest birthday present I’ve ever bought for a two year old little girl but evidently she loves watching the rubbish collection with her daddy. I know the value and attraction of playmobile since I am storing (hoarding?) hundreds of pieces once enjoyed by my sons- including aforementioned ‘daddy’.
Great, sturdy product from Playmobil. The ‘hopper’ bit comes off so my son has fun interchanging the back part with his old second-hand dumper truck from the same range. It has literally not left his hand since I gave it to him, so it’s been well worth the money already but I imagine it will last for many years as his other Playmobil ‘hand-me-downs’ have (we have some from the 70’s). The great thing about this is although it’s from the more basic 1-2-3 Playmobile range, it doesn’t look or feel like a ‘baby toy’. There are some little bits, but not too many, which I like as there less bits for us to stand on/lose/break/wrestle out of the dog’s mouth. My son has now set me the task of finding him a fire truck version like this!
There is one man and 2 bins (pretty barrel like and hollow) that come with this. The lorry itself is pretty small, the back orange section can tip upwards and the very back of the truck can open to tip out the two bins!
Only gripe I would say is the orange back comes off a bit too easily so mummy fix is needed on a regular basis.
I bought this for a boy’s second birthday. It seemed to go down really well and he didn’t want to stop playing with it! I liked the fact it is slightly different to all the tractors and diggers he was bought but fits in well with them so he can play with them all together.
