Listen I bought this case because I liked the features. Now I’m here to say that this case is amazing. I dropped it from my camper steps in gravel. I took a pic but it is hard to see. The cover on the glass dented and my phone survived it. It was beginning to look a little rough so I ordered another but I hadn’t changed it yet. Today I slipped walking to my car and hit the ground with my phone in hand. Even having survived the drops and spills so far it yet again saved my phone. This case is worth every penny.
I spent a while researching what case to buy and I’m delighted with my purchase from Poetic. The main selling points for me was the kickstand and 360 protection. No need to buy a separate screen protector to attach with this case as it’s included. You also have the option to attach your own if you’d like. The Kickstand is perfect for watching videos, scrolling on SM, ect. Its been ideal for recording my sets at the gym! I’ve had the case for over 3 months and it’s provided good protection (haven’t dropped phone yet). The customer service team are brilliant too, quick to respond and very helpful. 100% recommend, it’s been the best case I’ve ever used.
Die Hlle besteht aus zwei Teilen, ein Hinterteil und ein Vorderteil. Das Vorderteil ist zwei mal dabei. Einmal ohne Schutzfolie und einmal mit. Wenn man sich fr die Variante mit Schutzfolie entscheidet muss man den Aufkleber ber den Fingersensor wirklich vorsichtig entfernen und diese Stelle nicht ausversehen berhreren. Ich war nicht vorsichtig genug und jetzt funktioniert der Fingersensor nicht mehr. Dafr habe ich jetzt die Gesichtserkennung eingeschaltet.
Der Stnder der hinten an der Hlle dran ist, ist stabil und bisher zuverfllig. Das Handy lsst sich somit vertikal als auch horizontal aufstellen.
Die Hlle hat vor der Ladebuchse fr den USB-C Anschluss einen “Stpsel” wodurch kein Dreck in die Buchse gelangen kann.
Good things

1] the bevel on the front of the case seems rather small on the sides it’s almost flush with the screen surface
2] I’d be a bit concerned about it landing near the screen
3] the fingerprint doesn’t work with it but it does give you the choice of a screen protection adaption in the box
All in all I like it and it’s sturdy but there are some concerns
Good sturdy case. Is quite big but i don’t really mind that. The finger print scanner worked a first but stopped working after a few days. But if it keeps phone from being damaged i don’t mind.
As advertised, the finger print works every time without a hitch

As the phone is an s22 Ultra, it is quite big, but the case doesn’t bulk it out too much, so fairly easy to hold and teh s pen is easy to remove and re insert in the slo
Messed up slightly on the finger print area, as I had to peel it back off due to dust on the screen. All good thou, it does what it’s meant to do…protection from falls.
Fantastic case for the S22 Ultra. It was easy to install, has the option of using the case with an inbuilt screen protector or it has a separate frame without so you can use your own third party screen protector. I used the inbuilt one and it’s got great protection and the fingerprint works great. Really feels like a great case that will offer solid all over protection.
The case consists of a rubber and plastic rear that wraps around a front frame (2 supplied, one with a screen protector and one without). The rear has a fold out stand that is actually quite neat, it is only plastic so care should be used unfolding/folding until you get used to it. If you have one of those magnetic car holders that needs a metal plate stuck onto or inside the case the location of the plastic stand might be a problem.
The front frame (with screen protector) has a sticker on the inner face which is exactly where the fingerprint sensor is on the S22 Ultra. Peel it off, put it on phone, make sure there are no air bubbles, fit case rear and you’re done. Everywhere I’ve looked recommends registering fingerprints after the case is fitted (there is also an option in the settings to increase sensitivity of the sensor when used with screen protectors..I haven’t need to use this but it is available).
In use it works flawlessly, the sensor works as if the cover isn’t there. The surface of the screen protector isn’t as glossy and smooth as the glass of the screen but it’s perfectly useable. There is a cutout at the base of the case the USB-C port (with a cover) and another for extracting the S-Pen (no cover). There are rubber “buttons” for the volume up/down and bixby buttons, which are not overly sensitive but don’t require huge amounts of pressure to use.
The screen is clear and bright there is however a small transparent circle (smaller than a one pence coin) where it is stuck over the fingerprint sensor. This circle is noticeable when in front of bright or paler colours but barely so and for me is not a problem.
The rear camera lenses sit in a cutout on the rear of the case that protrudes past the lens surface, this means that if placed down on a level surface it shouldn’t come into contact with them. This is fine but my phones tend to be with me for years so I prefer protecting them as much as possible. I picked up a set of lens protectors that sit over each individual lens and they’re great…but it did mean I needed to trim a little rubber around the edge of the camera cutout.
In day to day use it’s great, the case protects the phone really well but does bulk it up a little. Wireless charging works with no problem (even though I prefer to use a cable). Overall I’m very impressed with the case so far.
I don’t use the fingerprint feature anyway so I tore the sticker off. I like to use face recognition and this case fits really well and provides good grip. Glad I found a case where I can relax when I have my phone out and about.
