After the central wheel on yet another expensive gaming mouse gave up the ghost I decided to try another way round.
This is excellent in the job I intended it for, as a touch pad for scrolling web pages. Basically I have added a touchscreen capability to my huge computer monitor!
I wanted a small touchscreen monitor to sit to the left of my two big monitors so I could have Outlook/OneNote always available. I literally took the monitor out, set up a separate VESA Monitor arm and plugged in three cables, HDMI/Display Port (No HDMI left on my PC hence slight change) and voila! Opened and running and it even set up touch/display properties automatically. Thoroughly recommended.
I purchased a superb 11.6″ very similar monitor a couple of months back, I was so impressed with it that I decided to get a larger 15.6″ version for mainly using at home. This larger unit is equalities as good, slimline profile, nice metal case with integrated stand and comes complete with a charge, USB c cable and a reasonable length HDMI.
What sets this apart from other standard slimline portable screens is the fact that it’s also a touchscreen. So useful if giving presentations or even using as a control panel when viewing media on a large screen. It has built in speaker which work but to be honest aren’t anything that special and your built in laptop versions are likely to be better but they do work abs are a nice addition. The touchscreen is quick and responsive and most importantly the screen bright and sharp.
On some laptops depending on the USB c type built in you can actually power the device and use as a display all through a single USB c cable which is a real bonus, note however not all can do this and you might need to use a USB c for power to the laptop and an HDMI for display (or the dedicated power supply). Onscreen displays make any adjustments easy to make although I found it fine out of the box. Refresh rate aren’t overly high, you can game on it but it isn’t a dedicated high refresh unit, this is a general use monitor at a decent price.
For the price paid this was an excellent purchase, well made, clear and crisp and a touchscreen. The only thing missing would be a nice little case to protect it if traveling.
This is a great monitor, especially if you want an additional screen for your laptop. It’s pretty lightweight. You wouldn’t mind carrying it in your laptop bag, since it wouldn’t add much weight. It comes with several connection cords and a charger.It worked right away when plugged into a laptop. Great screen clarity and colors!
This high definition touch screen monitor is perfect for my CCTV security camera system. It allows me to keep it set up in a small part of the study room. The resolution of the screen lets me see the camera footage in great quality. So happy at the amazing price for this monitor.
