It seems like a really frivolous product but I’ve found it so incredibly useful with my second child.
With my first child whenever he had a blow out, we would try to handwash the items as it grossed us out to add to the main wash but we usually ended up throwing them away after they were left to soak for too long. It was easier just to replace the items.
This time around we have this (what I like to call the ‘handwash machine’). Every morning I just pop in last nights clothes. Sometimes it takes all day as I like to run it twice (once with detergent and once without) each cycle is 10/15 minutes long but with other things to do I tend to forget about it.
When it’s done I just need to squeeze out the water and hang out to dry.
The basket arrived broken but I did attempt the dry cycle anyway and the clothes came out just as dry as doing it by hand so it’s no great loss.
It is a bit pricey for what it is but based on our current usage at 4 weeks we’ve easily saved the same amount with not purchasing replacement clothing.
I used this to wash whites and steep dirty school boy clothes and for that its great it sits on my kitchen counter and when i go in I swith it on for 15 mins …it doesnt heat the water and there is a warning about hot water but its great for steeping clothes
Bought for my grandson for Uni to save him some money at the laundry used it all the time saved him some cash. Could also be used in someone’s smaller accommodation. Thank you
