TLDR: Overall build quality is good, clear image, useable microphone. Recommended.
The picture quality is sharp and clear but a little on the cool and bright side but that’s easily adjusted in any cam software you have, I use Nvidia Broadcast.
The camera works surprisingly well when there is bright light to the back or side. I have a window to my right and it balances much better than my previous 12 year old camera and I can actually have the blind open while using this webcam.
The microphone is serviceable, it’s sensitive so picks up a lot of the ambient noise but again using Nvidia broadcasts settings can dampen unwanted noises.
I would have liked an indicator light but the inbuilt ring light turns off when the camera feed is stopped. The privacy shutter is a stick on one but works well though when open does cover a small portion of the ring light.
Works out of the box, even on my Chromebook and on Linux.
The only downside is that compared to the camera on my laptop, the better image quality from this camera means that I have to spend an extra few minutes on the morning shave
simple to use with home computer, plugged in to usb, and open it with software already on computer.
small enough to sit on screen top, or to stand alone with the tripod provided.
light is good with varius settings for colour tone and brightness.
picture is very crisp and auto focuses.
